I'm honestly happy with the roster, I have been wanting Shiki since I found out she existed from SvC (raise your hand if you played SamSho 64) she's super cool.

And I played Iroha in VI so I'm covered, I could have done without Mina on the other hand.

now if I could play this game online it would be fan-freaking-tastic. but 7 months in and the game still thinks I'm in the US.

Regarding NRS animations...they clearly know how to make good animations if you look at some stuff. A lot of the stiff stuff seems to be a stylistic choice, though I can’t say I agree with it. When you see it it’s usually the lower body being stuck in concrete while the upper body moves in a more natural way. It’s very easy to see in some of the reeling animations and upper cuts where the lower body doesn’t give at all.
 

Honesty it is what it is. I’m not bothered by it any more than any other FG. 

NRS only knows how to do cinematic animation.

I checked out SRK forums, all the threads in the SF part are indeed basically abandoned, except one.

The fuck is wrong with the people of the story thread (still no idea why it is called story thread after reading parts of it)

I'm quite sure it's the opposite, people go to ArcSys because they guarantee a quality product that has recognition from the original crowd of the genere.

Look at how Cygames went to ArcSys for the fighting game and to Platinum for the Action combat game.

These company have the IP strength so they just pick their best option for gameplay. Who are you gonna go for a fighting game in today's day and age? Capcom?

I am not complaining, but is interesting that she seems to be the default character that represents the series on other games.

She's the only character that more people might know since she was in CVS2, among LB players, not that popular because she's ass, but her POWER move set is pretty transferrable. Her strength is neutral and doing big damage on punishes.

I recently realized that I might feel better playing this game on a pad instead of a stick. because block button drives me nuts.

The switch to Zooey has been amazing, I have been able to play against master ranked players and actually win.

I also picked up Vas a bit, he's kinda hard midscreen.

But my main job now is to learn how to Zooey fuzzy guard setup, so far I have not been able to execute it.

So DFO is called DNF in Asia, when I first saw the trailer yesterday I said of that's DFO, and I didn't understand the name.

It's a good pick, DFO art is top notch, then it's a goddamn browser game once you play it, but the artwork, thumbs up.

Anyway, clearly ArcSys wants all ofy money, let's hope it's rollback

The entire story of Gulty Gear 2 and most of the story of Sign is about the backyard.

I'm getting better at Zeta, but is ridiculous how much easier learning Kat was.

Another char I'd like to explore is Vaseraga, I heard he's good now, I don't see it, I played an SS Vas player the other day and after losing the first match I realized he couldn't actually do shit to me if I just played my game.

I have started playing Katalina, she was really easy to pick up, basically she's better Narmaya. Who I wanted to learn is Zeta, but I can't get her right at all. I don't understand how do people play her successfully.

I figured out something that was bothering me about Yuel, she is not wearing her hoe costume. Apparently we got her water element version or some crap?
