I’m not going to link to that site, but there’s a Kotaku article that dates back to 2009 where Megan talks about how much she was played the series and that she thought MK Vs DC sucked. It’s minor, but it’s nice that they are grabbing celebrities that are familiar with the series.
 
 

While I’m not too excited at having celebrities play established characters, Fox sounds much better as Nitara than Rousey was Sonya. The latter actually ruined the character in that game and the fact we had to hear her in the story was dreadful. 

Finally found some time to play today. I was already on the brink of Master, so I figured, what better time than now to make the last push to get Jimmy among the Master ranks.
 
In the final match, I played this really solid Ken player who played a great turtling game. It went down to the last round before I closed it out with a DR headbutt, st. short, medium ball>CA3. I had never landed that combo outside of training mode so needless to say, I felt pretty smug about that.

Yeah, I echo your thoughts on this. I lose to every damn Lily I play (about one every two weeks), even though she's low tier.

One thing I will forever hate about fighting games is how 75% of the playerbase will gravitate to a small handful of characters who you will get a shitton or experience against. But then that one time you run into someone more obscure you just constantly get your shit rocked bc you never see them and the couple ppl you do run into are usually terrible. I was fighting a Jamie earlier and he was doing shit I’ve literally never even seen before I never run into him and just fold due to unfamiliarity.
 
Gonna cherish these early days of SF6 where the roster isn’t 40 deep yet so I feel like I can actually learn every matchup.

Alright y'all, I have a theory about the Ninja Turtles crossover. So lately I've been spending more time reading and catching up on the TMNT comics than playing SF6  (great reading BTW!). And I just thought a little bit ago that a sequel to Tournament Fighters would be SICK. So maybe just maybe the prices are higher than normal because Nickelodeon is seriously looking at fighting games to potentially get a game developer like Capcom or Dotemu to make a new Turtles fighting game. Now back to reading.

I'm in Reno celebrating that one year anniversary with my wife. Y'all play some great matches while I don't have access to the game and today's Manon's birthday, so I know the commentators will have something for the Manon mains! 

This x2. Being my first charge character I spent and still sometimes do too much time worrying about charge but this aa beats so much stuff. If it doesn’t send them flying too far you can get coward crouch into lift off of it too. Sometimes even on trade you can get something after like slide.  You can also do sa1/sa3 off of it

- st. short x2 > medium ball. Great for punishing everything that's -4 and slower. 
 
Jump attack (mostly j. fierce), st. fierce, wild lift, medium vertical ball or CA1 or 3.  
 
If the jump attack is blocked, cr. jab x2 into medium ball.
 
If cr. jab is blocked too, cancel 2nd cr. jab into short wild hunt or do an overhead.
 
In the corner: DI or jump attack into st. fierce, OD ball, roundhouse vertical ball, OD vertical ball or CA1 (CA3 doesn't work, no juggle properties for some reason).
 
- I bait them and react with my own. 
 
- None, unfortunately.
 
- I don't think Blanka has many bad matchups, he has the tools to handle most things you throw at him. Honda is definitely his worst matchup if you ask me, fat bastard is very effective at out-turtling you.
 
General trick that has won me many matches: AA with st. roundhouse into fierce ball for over 2000 damage.
 
Anyway, this is the stuff that works for me. I'm on the brink of Master, but I can barely find time to play.

Thanks Volta! I'll start putting what you and Will said into practice! I'm excited to play with Blanka. Noticed that SA2 is much easier to use than in SFV - definitely been having fun using it in combos.

I struggled a little around Diamond5 I still haven’t learned any of the fancier sa2 combos but I can’t lie I’m proud of myself lol. 
 

You can tell by how she moves that A.K.I. is an absolute animal in bed.
F.A.N.G confirmed once again as absolute gigachad who effortlessly gains all the best pussy in the setting.
 
Now tell me: how many hot young apprentices does Akuma have?

Bison got one for each month of the year, plus Cammy.

I know this has already been jerked off but this is easily a top 10 for the history books match. Snake was literally playing SF2 while Rey was playing arguably the most annoying top tier in the game. Not only did he claw his way back but he did this while lacking the ability to abuse the universal mechanics of the game outside of regular hold parry. 
 
I ran into Snake a few times in SFV. Once he was playing Kage and he was immediately in my head. He double perfected me without losing a game. It fucking demoralized the fuck outa me but I was throughly impressed. He fucking hated V and played like it once a month. And he was still taking names like he loved the game with a passion. He might be the one dude who I believe carrie’s his character. 

I love watching snake eyes play but also hate it already seen a bunch of knee jerk reactions of people saying git gud look at snake. 
 
Same thing happened when he won that strive tourney with Potemkin last patch. 
 
 

I was not at all expecting to get outta trials and get to Diamond 1 on day 1 of ranked. That's better than the progress I made in SF5, since it pretty much took the life of the game to make it there or beat a Master JP with Ryu 2-1, nonetheless. I think I might have some fun with ranked in SF6! 
 
By the way, I know Denjin Charge isn't the best install, buuuut even though I'm giving up oki, I get some nice combo opportunities! OD Hashogeki on hit crumples, so whatever I can think of before and after Hashogeki can (and has) led into solid damage.
