Anybody remembers the MK11 one where people abused the hell out of Sheeva stomp? 

It would be cool if Necro was in a new SF game but I don't think he would be the same in SF6. I think they had a real opportunity in SFV to add him but didn't despite the model being there in the Halloween stage.
 

 
 
 

Here @Daemos The Japanese marketing for SF6 seems more of your taste. It features the classic SF2 AM Japanese climax theme. It features an actual athlete. It’s goofy as hell like SF usually is. 
Do you think that this energy matches and compliments what SF is going for?
 
 
 

We all know SF is going for a more urban feel this time around so they found the most  overhyped generic modern rapper from the past 2 decades to represent the “street” in Street Fighter.
It’s a good marketing move because everyone knows him and SF. I haven’t liked Lil Wayne since I was in high school but he does match the urban vibe they’re going for in SF6. He doesn’t match SF as a whole but aesthetically he definitely matches SF6.

Not of a fan of that guy or the way he talks. His energy doesn't match Street Fighter or complement it.

Crushing dreams out here but its not only Nakayama with this mindset.
Every title where the two powerhouses could have finally clashed, has been met with the purposeful exclusion of one or the other. I think the most obvious one was MVC3 where Haggar was chosen as CAPCOM's grappler rep and Zangief finally takes a vacation. This, despite the fact that the russian has filled that particular role since the birth of the crossover series SFVX.
 
I mean they've done more than enough to differentiate their movesets over the years as fighters and we all know Capcom isn't afraid to have multiple shotos in one title.
I guess it just boils down to the fact that Gief and the Mayor practically look like brothers. Even this is a cop out considering Haggar was a pro wrestler and can literally change his looks to suit a gimmick if that's what you're so hung up on.
 
It really is kinda insulting this time around especially since we have a mainstream SF title, actually set in METRO CITY and HAGGAR is NOWHERE to be found. It's so bad that because of the giant memorial statue, everybody myself included, assumed Haggar was dead LOL!!!
 
Ahhhh well good to know i'm not the only one wondering why Big Mike never got his time to shine in Street Fighter! Infinite sadness.
 
 
 

I'm lukewarm on the SF6 roster.  On the one hand the new characters seem awesome, which is great and kind of its savings grace. However.....having 0 Alpha and 3rd Strike characters for not only the launch roster but for the entire first season of DLC stinks.  Especially when we're only getting 4 characters for an entire year.  I don't want to have to wait 3-4 years down the road just to play my favourite characters.   

I get the impression that Kimberly is only annoying and seems strong because we don't know how to fight her. Although, I was surprised at her walk speed and neutral game being pretty strong for her archetype.

SF3 has the worst roster of any game in the series which is a big reason it flopped lol. SF6 roster is way better just by virtue of having vets ppl actually like. 
 
Edit: Now that I’m actually looking at the launch roster every series that isn’t SF2 is underrepresented so it’s not like they’re singling out SF3. 
 
SFV and SF4 both only have 1 rep, and Alpha series also appears to have 0 reps while being way more popular than SF3. 

Yeah the losers from the game that almost killed the franchise aren't here

The only reason Gill's absence isn't even more noticeable is that the whole fucking SF3 cast is missing.

Yeah I was thinking something like Петергофский Дворец, very imperial Russia style architecture used for the building in that concept art. Wouldn't mind seeing it as a stage at all given how beautiful Петергоф is 

Nakayama says she is cosplaying as a highschooler and that she isn't on Twitter.

That speaks to her state of mind possibly and wanting to appear older. Children can go through that at around 12-14.
