  1. Yeah, you can have a friend of the opposite sex and not try to dish out the D every time you are in close quarters. This is something I lived by when I was dating. I made it my best attempt not to have a crazy one come after me. Treated it like a project. Set up the requirements Both parties agree on the outcomes Manage expectations through out Terminate the engagement if things get out of scope
  2. Even factoring taking the trip, people in healthy relationships (likely) won't even let this be a thing because sensible boundaries and respect are a thing.
  3. We bought Star Wars eventually, so it was fine 🤣. We found a copy of Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade (best one, don't @ me) that was part of a promotion with a meal. There's nothing like hitting fast-forward to getting to that one scene at the end of a movie. Children today are spoiled 😂.
  4. When we were cleaning the house after my Dad passed away, I found Star Wars crossed out by whatever show I was into at least six times 🤣.
  5. Agreed. Regardless of the reason it's a sense of entitlement that shouldn't exist. So is the outrage over the character.
  6. He's said so many things in that video. The one place I want to focus on is how he reminds people that it's still there. That is a general problem with fandoms. Content gets created for the current generation around a thing from your childhood. It's not the way you want it, so you take to the internet and try to burn it down. The thing is, the original still exists. If you don't like it, don't watch it. The company making it will "hear you". If it doesn't match with your sensibilities, why expend calories and money on it. Pop in that VHS tape, fill a bowl of cereal and treat yourself to a nostalgia bomb instead of being a dick on the interwebz.
  7. He could have easily been one of the best MCU villains . . . but jokes. If this isn't a What-If scenario, I don't know what is.
  8. Technically it's 2020. Pfizer got the Emergency Use Authorization for FDA approval that Dec 😎.
  9. Is this an honest take, because it would approach the realm of T'Challa being played by Chris Pine.
  10. Falcon and Winter Soldier is my favorite, but She-Hulk is a very close second. Falcon and Winter Soldier She-Hulk WandaVision Loki Ms. Marvel Hawkeye Moon Knight Sidenote- I can't be the only person that thinks about this show again due to She-Hulk.
  11. Even though I think he could carry one, I rather see him as a cameo/ dispersed throughout. His deadpan delivery works across all of the MCU.
  12. I think car manufacturers need to realize that moving everything to a touch screen is bad business. Sure, climate controls and radio are OK, but everything else (e.g., vent adjustments, mirrors, and windows) are a terrible choice.
  13. Honestly, not really feeling that. Maybe it's just me, but it looks less aggressive.
  14. Bruh, I did this and looked at the trailer. Are people that bitter? Why are the broflakes so damn frosty? Talking about anything environmental seems to be "WOKE". You have to wonder about things released before the mass interwebz that would get that tag now
  15. I shed a thug tear when he said that. The ending shots though . . .
  16. Google TV randomly recommended Short Circuit. I watched half the damn movie without realizing it. Sidenote - Fisher Stevens had all of us fooled.
  17. We have all been there. However, reading this thread in real time gave me a good laugh 🤣 Beast Wars is honestly the reason why the toyline exists today. Hasbro took a swing and got people excited for the franchise again. The story had the right balance of humor and heart and never felt like a 22 minute toy commercial (overall). HOT TAKE - The followup series, Beast Machines, is a worthy successor. Once you get past the designs (which I have no real love for) the story is pretty solid. It's honestly a more mature take on the source material and dives into the more spiritual side of the robots in disguise. The only period of Transformers that I couldn't really get with (so far) is the Unicron Trilogy (e.g., Armada, Energon, and Cybertron). David Kaye brought it with that role. It was a travesty when they had someone else voice him in the Netflix series (don't watch it). I keep starting this series and while it is good, it never gets a hold on me. I need to just power through at this point. Archer has my interest at the moment. I stopped watching around Season 4. It was that period of time where you had to have cable service to watch stuff online and I wasn't gonna pay $60+ a month for that. Started from S1E1 and have moved on from there. I've been dying nightly for the past week.
  18. This is honestly the series I am most excited for. War Machine was severely underused in the Infinity Saga. This is a good consolation prize. This is the second most promising thing. Personally, The Falcon and Winter Soldier was my favorite of the MCU shows. Seeing how they push things forward will be interesting. Regarding the narratives, I honestly appreciate how Disney is allowing the writing team to just lean into the stories. She-Hulk calling out the BS mid-show has been glorious. The worst thing about the current state of things is that you won't be able to put any of it in your home library.
  19. Easily one of the best movies I saw in 2019. It was also the last movie I saw in theaters (pre-lockdown).
