Coverage for SFV was also positive pre-release, after it came out shit went south.
 
While I am neutral on the game still, because I have no high expectations anyway.
I do not like the range of the footage I have seen. Moves look short ranged and stubby.

While I killed the Magitek Scorpion in Ala Mhigo today I rememberd something.
 
FF7 is a garbage game, overrated with bad and bland characters, it is by far the worst game in the series.
Just as a reminder.

So far I see Capcom copying almost everything from ASW, especially what they did the past 6 years.
Wonder if they copy Strives Netcode as well.

So they essentialy want to turn SF into a Pseudo MMO.
Not against that idea tbh. Battle Hub can never be as bad as Strives Lobby System..... or can it? We will see!

SFV also used Rollback Netcode.
And we don't want THIS kind of Rollback.

I just hope that the Parry in SFVI is so unredeemably bad, that no one even remembers that this Mechanic is in the game.

Just put Morrigan into SFVI, give her the Slayer pose when she gets knocked out, I might buy the game just for that.

Honestly, I get why people are mad at JoJo not having rollback. It makes perfect sense.
 
On the other hand, we also know exactly what kind of release this was and that Bamco is involved (As a publisher). People gotta know better at this point. It sucks, but it's also what it is. At least it got ported to a bunch of systems it wasn't available before.
 
If anything, I hope a new JoJo FG is made from the ground up (with rollback, of course). The options... aren't exactly great rn.

Not everyone has the luxury or the luck of a local scene.
Bad Netcodes were more excuseable before CoVid happend and Delay Netcode became an insult.
 
For a lot of people good Netplay will end with make or break.
What sucks a bit since I really can't get my ass to play GBVS online again, without getting vietnam flashbacks of the last matches I had, which were really bad, despite me usually having no problems on delay inside of the EU

I just hope Juri isn't ass again.

On another note, I finaly got around and finished Yakuza Like a Dragon.
 
The game was great overall.
Great Story, I liked the cast, gameplay was good..... once it got going , it's a little to slow in the beginning, but it gets better over time.
I liked all the references to classic JRPGs and also the ridicoulis explanation why the game is now turn based.
Overall good game, was worth the money!
 
Also I heard Persona 5 is coming to PC, took them long enough.

I'm a sucker for a good funky beat so I like Ryu's new theme. The fact it doesn't fit his character didn't cross my mind.

I really hope that they do Evil Ryu and Violent Ken like they should be.
A costume for Ryu and Ken and not a waste of a character slot.

Shut up, Capcom has gone full woke and is going to censore SFVI from top to bottom like Strive censored I-Nos boobs.
