I'm pumped to try out my boi nagoriyuki. Dude can get plus frames in your face whenever he wants.  Just hope it's plus enough to get some strong mix. Between command grab, low, or if he can get instant overhead with j.hs rc.

Also want to know if his close S can anti air well similar to venoms old close S. Feel like he should have some tricky cross unders with blocked anti air into teleport dash

Strive not being just a worse version of the xx series is always a nice thing. Plus neutral and the pace of the game looks really interesting and curious to see how offense develops in this game. Also, always fun figuring out stuff in a brand new fighting engine 

Sword projectile and explosions with rc and her flip special will probably lead to some nasty mixups

Really wish they would've just put in a tag mode, even if it's busted. Fighting games need to put in more fun stuff that's for multiplayer.

Why they have to do roshi like that though 😐Probably not gonna keep roshi on my team now. Definitely using baby though. Hopefully his screen control can deal with crazy randomness decently since I won't have roshi b anymore.

If he does keep his butterfly pressure, he's gonna be pretty cheap with the new Roman cancel system

Looking at that trailer, it looks like they are special cancelling specials. Maybe this is their kof inspired game lol 

I'm always down for a new arcsys fighter but I won't be able to die happy until they make a final fantasy fighting game. 

If you play piccolo, I suggest you learn this tod. It's super easy, can do it with one assist and only need 0.5 meter to do it. You can also start with 2h or 5h.

Current team I'm playing is piccolo A, roshi A, goku A.  Very heavy hitting team with pretty good neutral control. Liking it so far. Also have a pretty easy TOD with piccolo which is nice

Yea the game literally tries to screw you over lol. 

Coming up with strategies to beat that fight the first time you play through the game was one of the most satisfying things  I've done in my life 😂

I really liked FF Tactics, but I got stuck halfway through and couldn't complete one of the fights.  Still recommend it. 

 

My first FF was the 8-bit one.  Got in on the ground floor on that series. 🙂  But I also never played a Pokemon game or a KH game in my life cause they all came out after I was in college.

 

It was the wiegraf fight that you got stuck on, wasn't it lol? Unless you don't remember at this point

I’d be okay with slower games now if the game was compelling and strategic, tbh, I’d prefer that over mindless button mashing.

 

is there any FF game you would recommend a noob to start with? Keeping in mind I only have a PS4, a switch, and a 11 year old laptop that is showing its age.

Definitely recommend final fantasy tactics. Just make sure your first playthrough is a blind run. Looking up stuff would definitely ruin the experience. 

Both regions to have played so far definitely have had some legit matches

More people would definitely use videl if she had a normal reflect
