I suppose you're right. Maybe I'm reckless. Even with going to substance abuse programs, relapsing to use again recently is annoying for me. I was told that I would have this disease until death, but I wish that wasn't true.

Living a solitary life gets to me, moreso with isolating myself further in this pandemic. That's when the urge to use again surfaces for me.

I don't think it's that simple, man. You don't just get to decide not to be an alcoholic. At least not in my experience.

Hmm...I was a lurker around SRK from registering in 2004 to discontinuing the site in 2006. I think looking back on local competition from the sixth generation consoles, was with merit, but I miss the passion I use to have to pass the time.

Before knowing SRK, the chess club and tournaments in the 1990s and challenging other schools were my primary focus. I felt like a big fish, but always felt unsatisfied with my progress due to the difficulty of finding competition, which I've also lacked direction and support. It was enlightening to come across a grandmaster, which I wanted to experience more of it, but without the funds to travel all over, I discontinued chess and that's how I've found the SRK site back then.

I have a habit on reflecting on the past. Though I see this community as comfortable. ^_^

It wasn't a bad game to me. I felt that it was underrated for it's time, as going that far to say.

However, I still prefer Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting.

Hmmm. My first online fighting game was Capcom Vs Snk 2 from the original Xbox in either 2003 or 2004.

It was sort of a mixed experience with people using racial slurs when they were losing and mass rage quitters. Yet, the competition gotten me where I needed to be in that era, which I later transferred that knowledge and experience to other fighting games that was released after. So, I'm very thankful that I've invested so much time into it.

I like the series, but I just have mixed feelings of leaning toward the new one as ill-advised to bother with any further, because I don't like the 3d in 2d fighting games, and it seems more lenient in utilizing the super meter, which other newer generation games fall into this. I have prehistoric tastes and very picky when it comes to this genre, so having more options to win when losing on that subject turns me off, as I've never cared for supers. However, it doesn't make games after the pre-super era bad games.

Currently, Samurai Shodown 5 Perfect is my favorite along with the second one.
