  1. Sorry to quote this again but after details of what happened, those sick fucks most certainly did this on purpose. They hit the first vehicle. The survivors moved to the second vehicle radioed telling them to call it off. The they hit second vehicle the survivors went third vehicle and they hit that one. Accident my black ass. That was a methodical execution. Just like when they killed those unarmed men with the drone. They struck them. A couple survived, struck again, and then hit the last guy that crawling away. That is some sadistic shit.
  2. I'm slipping. I had time to watch X-Men 97' before work and didn't. My alarm goes off at 5:35am. I don't leave for work until 7:15am. Wait....I have Disney+ on my phone and 1 hour lunch break 😁 Edit: Watched it on my lunch break. It was fun episode. It didn't have the burden of crammings years of storyline into a half hour episode like last week.
  3. It does but UE5 is the most heavily used game engine. So, if they haven't fixed the issue, it is going to be present for the majority of games out there. Few developers use their own engines these days. Capcom has the RE Engine. There is the Decima Engine from Guerrilla games. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (Like A Dragon/Yakuza) has the Dragon Engine and...um I can't think of any others. CD Projekt RED is ditching the RED Engine for UE5. Square Enix has their own engine IIRC its used in FFXIV and FFXVI but they also use Unreal Engine. Both FFVII: Remake and FFVII Rebirth are on Unreal. There is Unity as well but after their shenanigans developers have begun to look elsewhere. TLDR: Unreal Engine is the most popular game engine used by multitudes of the developers, if they haven't resolved the issue, it's going to be a major problem. Game file sizes aren't getting any smaller.
  4. Then Epic would need to foot that bill. The issues of having to redownload the whole game was an UE4 issue. I hope this has been addressed in UE5.
  5. Oh I know about Netanyahu funneling money through Qatar to Hamas prior to the 2005 elections. He was worried that a moderate Palestinian group would come to power and it make it harder for them justify their actions in Gaza if the extremist weren't in charge. That's why it's so eye rolling to me when talks about having to destroy Hamas. They have the power they do because of HIM. The bulk of the most recent conflicts have a lot to do with Western interference. I mean this situation in Israel is the most obvious one. I mean Israel's first prime minister moved to Palestine (now Israel) when it was a territory of the Ottoman Empire. But I don't want to get off on the tangent of one the reasons given for Israeli's having right to the land is well BS. The bulk of them are descended from European converts. A prime example of this is actually Benjamin Netanyahu himself. He's Polish. He changed his name. His birth name is Benzion Mileikowsky. Actually, the first Prime Minister I mentioned earlier, David Ben-Gurion, was also born in Poland as well. He's birth name was David Grün. He said some well honest things that people don't bring up because it wouldn't be good for the current narrative. He said, paraphrasing, that "The Palestians will fight us because they see us taking their land and If I were in their shoes I'd fight us as well" But I digress...really don't want go done this rabbit hole any longer. And I went down that rabbit hole....bah 😑
  6. @SonichumanThis situation in Gaza has hipped me to the fact that Israel has been doing all kinds of fucked up shit for decades and they never get called on it. Hamas, rightfully so, got crushed for October 7th. Israel skates on everything though. This current situation in Gaza is the first time I've seen them sort of called out on their BS. They are literally an apartheid state and the world at large seems fine with it.
  7. You are going to have to add Souls-like to your list with Metroidvania man.
  8. Is this supposed to be some sort of insightful take? Because pre-orders giving people cosmetics for the main character is par for the course. Not only is it not new, it's the norm. This is worse than his Metroid Dread take. I mean people were buying codes off of Ebay so they could get all pre-order armors for ME2 and ME3. This has to be engagement farming, he can't be this stupid....can he?
  9. My honest opinion. To stop them from bringing aid in. They were the most successful at getting food aid into Gaza. Now they've suspended aid to the region and not only that, a similar organization has done the same. It's not the an accident. It's purposeful. They "accidentally" took out three vehicles, in an approved zone, with prior authorization of the route by the IDF? Not buying it. I've seen too many videos of them straight up mercing unarmed people to think this is an accident. People typically just don't care because it's "only Palestinians." Just like when they killed their own hostages that had escaped Hamas. The dudes were shirtless and waving a white flag asking for help. They shot them dead because they thought hey were Palestinians. They were only sorry because they were Israeli. Or when they riddled a families van with bullets, little girl surives calls for help, and those fuckers blew up the ambulance that came to help her. You can unfortunately see numerous videos of them taking unarmed people out. Often people waving white flags. Seeing this type of evil live and in living color is fucking disturbing. TLDR: If any other country was doing this type of malicious and reprehensible shit, the entirety of NATO would be up in arms. Yet we, the US, just shipped them more weapons. That's like me selling brass knuckles to dude that's beating his wife and saying "There's nothing I can do. I'm talked him and said he shouldn't hit her. It's not my place to interfere in their marriage" 🤬
  10. There a difference between "giving the audience what they want" and "giving the audience what they expect". The latter is pandering. That said either of those options are better than the current modus operandi of "giving the audience the finger" and then attacking them for not liking being flipped off.
  11. This nonsense continues. If ANY other country pulled these types of stunts, they'd get ranked over the coals. How do organizations coordinate with you and you still hit them with an airstrike? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-68710515
  12. It's not as complex as that really. You basically said "give the audience what they want". Hollywood and Western Game development studios seem, especially the former, to like to antagonize their consumer base. Then when their product tanks, be completely bewildered as to why.
  13. Well I can tell you don't work for a Western Video Game development studio or Hollywood film studio for that matter. 👀
  14. @iStu XI haven't had any issues with Unicorn Overlord on Switch. The load times are within reason. I use fast travel a lot during the end game and nothing has really stuck out to me. It's not like Three Houses were the loads times annoyed the hell out of me. Ironically enough, the game with load times that annoyed the most recently is Rebirth. They are fine typically but then I start using Chadley's combat simulator and I feel like I've loaded up FF7: Remake on PS4 by mistake.
  15. Wow, he was only 35. That's crazy. I can't imagine what Vernon Davis is feeling right now.
  16. Our politicians are ALWAYS insider trading. Of course, IIRC, it's not illegal for them and whenver someone tries to make it that way...the bill mysterious doesn't make it to the floor. Now if we could get this level of bipartisan support for something that would actually help the average American. Meanwhile, Martha Stewart got locked up for $60k. Which, with her wealth, could have been an accounting error. Edit: For clarification, it wasn't an accounting error. The point I was attempting to make is that amount wouldn't have been noticed by her.
  17. I was always allowed to keep my door closed. My dad was disciplinarian but he allowed us to have our privacy. That said, when my dad knocked on the door, unless I was sleep my ass dropped what I was doing and opened it right away.
  18. Is this video I think it is? At work, can't watch it. IIRC this is the video where he essentially defends Kotaku and leaves out all the context for why they were getting the screws put to them. They were diplomatic for the most part but even his comment section came after him. They were REALLY disappointed in him.
  19. Wait what? That sounds like some Resetera shit right there man.
  20. Is this actual news? News Wave is usually good away to keep up with gaming new. However, it's April 1st. So, I've basically been ignorning any news and announcements today.
  21. Yeah, I'm sure Russians want a Putin Box. First time someone says something bad about him on Putin Box Live, they'll get polonium-210 in their tea.
  22. Oh it's even worse than that. Dude is married. Has been for a decade. To top it off, his wife is an artist and they work together. These are some of her character designs. You know this is another example of how shit gaming "journalist" are. Maybe they could of, I don't know used Google to see if the guy was married before they made that stupid comment. It would be have been a dumb comment either way. However, when you find out that not only is he married but his wife designs characters in the same vain, it cranks the stupidity up to 11.
  23. Too bad you don't work for Shift Up. The CEO bought PS5's for all 260 developers that worked on the game.
  24. It was just bad all around. Intel CPUs are less efficient they burn through more power. So to put that architecture into power constrained environment was pure folly.
  25. Based on the discourse surrounding it, Stellar Blade is going to be this years Hogwart's Legacy. A game that see it sales numbers boosted because of gaming "journalists" inability to just STFU about something they don't like, Eve's design. So, people will push back against them and buy the game to spite them. Just like they did with Hogwart's Legacy. Did they learn from that situation? Of course not, they've been clowns since the ME3 controversy. They speak like they have the moral high ground when they are the most lost rent pieces of shit out there. Running interference for despicable people instead of exposing them. Getting back to Stellar Blade, the game seems really polished. It's not just a flashy, shallow, hack and slash. I haven't gotten the hang of the combat system yet but it actually has the depth to make me want to put forth effort.
