I know what mean. None of Sub Zero variants make him feel like a complete character. Rising ice is his best move for combo extensions and it's in none of his variants. The shitty replacement for ice clones makes it but not rising ice. Has Boon said how he will make custom tournament legal? From my understanding they are banned because it's a logistics issue.

I will never understand why NRS couldn't have made custom variants simple so they can be tournament legal. It would be sweet if we got to chose which special moves we want to use after selecting our character.

I don't see myself going through the headache of getting GFWL to work. It sucked ass when it was supported. Since you mentioned PS3 is still active I could go that route if I want to get back in.

I noticed Akhos playing the game a occasionally on Steam and wondered if some new development happened in regards to the me. Did Capcom finally patch in steamworks or there been some fan patch that bypasss GFWL or something.

Whenever I go to steam forum when player population comes up most of the playerbase say it's dead. I have a friend who brought the game on PC and he can barely find matches. Put your head in the sand all you want but barely cracking 200 players during peak times isn't popping. PC version of that game is in desperate need of crossplay

Don't lie to yourself. Granblue struggles to get 200 concurrent players during peak hours on steam. KoF 2002UM got more people playing and that game is 18 years old.
