Our cops are cowards. They confronted the kid outside the school with his gun and everything and still let him inside and shoot the place up for like an hour while they waited for backup. No one's scared of the police here if you're white and packing a big fucking gun. Why would this kid be scared of the cops even with their big guns and body armor and APCs.

A choking baby really can overwhelm new parents with fear.  My wife panicked and froze up when our daughter choked the first few times.  I got that baby Heimlich down pat at this point.

Maybe you do. I'm just watching a defamation case from time to time as I follow the rest of what's going on in the world. Multitasking isn't that hard. 

It's time to reform health care in this country and make mental health care affordable instead of ignoring the problem. These are two issues that compound one another. Health care in this country is completely fucked and ignoring it will continue to make problems like this worse. You'll take the guns away and they'll use something else like their fucking cars as we have already seen. 

I just want better gun control, better background checks, licensing, like that kid turned 18 and just walked into the store and bought two rifles and walked out, went home and shot his grandmother then headed to the school. 
 
like why do you have to have a license, insurance, registration to drive but not to buy a fucking gun? Banning guns outright is pointless, but just letting people buy a gun like it's a Big Mac doesn't work either. Like come on.
