One thing I hope doesn't happen with strive that SFV did (and is a big reason I don't want to take the time to learn it) is just piling on the system mechanics. I get decision fatigue in SF games at this point... Naaa, not a golf guy. But I’m not a golf guy and love golf games. he’s a tinkerer. Builds a bunch of shit, works with leather, cuts glass and makes stain glass art, builds model planes, trains, boats… a mechanic simulator thing might be good. I like game streaming services. I have PSNow and it's great. I will admit, I rarely stream games, so most of the time I just download when that's an option, but I've never had any issues when I do stream them. I'm all for preserving video game history with physical copies, and protecting consumers by letting them actually own a game that they can play forever and ever whenever they want... BUT I rarely revisit games, so most of the time games end up just sitting on a hard drive or a shelf after I'm done, so I like the frivolousness of streaming

Fair warning- I only played one game against a I-no player I'm 90% sure was playing with one hand, won and the game soft locked. Starting disco the week of strive was a giant mistake on my part. My wife is seriously cutting into my gaming time. She just sits behind me and stares at the back of my head while I lab cause she wants us to play disco lololol

@Voltposted the steam numbers for Strive and they're hitting MK numbers. It's dwarfing day juan numbers for T7 and SFV. On the flip side of that, +R generated a lot of buzz on PC, so ASW did some legit "show me" marketing with that. I'd guess that the PS4+5 numbers are around the same or maybe a little higher, so you got 50k or so people playing GGS at any given time. THE FGC IS SAVED! looks at the 100k people still playing TF2 uh... THE FGC ISN'T TOTALLY DEAD!!

Right now I'm only using it for dash blocking. But the fact that I can charge up dolphin while I dash.... I gotta try this shit out. Games tonight??
