Yeah, they really started to pour more and more into those sandboxes, and they can kinda be exhausting. They haven't had a "recreating the wheel" moment since 3 imho. They're just making the wheel bigger and shinier at this point. I like all the GTAs but I thought SA had too much half baked stuff in it for the sake of stuff and GTAV has a really great campaign but the map is too big. GTAIV is one of my favorite games of all time, but it's got a lot of flaws. Was it like that from the jump? I remember jumping online after I beat the campaign and it seemed like a tacked on afterthought. The protag switching is what drew me in.

Man, I'm really happy I didn't get into video game development. At this point it looks like it would of been a guarantee that you'd have to deal with some kind of shit behavior, or end up getting swept up into it and turning into a turd eating goblin like a lot of these goons.

It's not the CEOs getting harassed. It's the average Joes that wanted to make video games, make $45K (maybe) a year. Mr. Blizzard CEO isn't the one being groped by drunk assholes and having his nudes shared around the office, it's the internal tester or sound designer that just wanted to work in videogames cause they had a passion for it. edit: now those people have to find a new job cause the whole studio is imploding, which totally sucks.

Well, it sorta comes down to ethics, I reckon. If someone told him about someone else getting harassed, then he needs to get in contact with the person that was on the receiving end and corroborate the story and get permission before publishing anything, purely from a good reporting and ethical point of view. These people may not of wanted it to get out, especially if they still worked there, cause it could result in their employer actively looking for a reason to shit-can them or cause more harassment. Plus a "he said/she said" situation are easy to sweep under the rug and move on from without any real consequences. If you really want to expose the whole issue, you typically need repeated offenses and several witnesses/victims. The DFEH has been investigating for months (if not years) at this point, with the power of government behind them.

The show was good tho🤷‍♀️ I do find it really strange that when side scrolling platform adventure games were having a huge boom in the last decade with indy developers, Konomi didn't think to put something out there, or even go the Sega route and have a capable and passionate external dev team take the reigns. They did, however, rerelease rondo of blood and SoTN like 14 times in that timeframe.

Wonder if they'll actually have a date for dropping Oro and Akira. Cause they were announce literally a year ago. This "roadmap" thing that Capcom decided to do with SFV seems super short sighted now that I think about it. They told us a year ago what content we'd get a year later, and it's exhausting to stay excited for that long, so at this point (especially with Strive dropping and being damn good) excitement has turned to apathy. It feels like they're dangling a carrot and it feels kinda shitty

Super cool that capcom always dives into the ol' bag to bring up characters that haven't had a game in over a decade and just throw them in games that actually make money. But also, fuck you capcom for reminding me we'll probably never see another Okami. Now go put Morrigan and Viewtiful Joe in something else.

I think Sandhagen won that fight. TJ has a granite chin, I'll give him that, but he was getting picked apart and resorted to leaning him against the cage for half the fight without pushing the advantage. Honestly, it looked similar to the last Izzy fight imho. Sandhagen wasn't nearly as dominant as Izzy, obviously, but I still think he won that fight 3-2. Also, I'm biased, cause despite being in a sport full of meathead douchebags, TJ stands out as a pillar of meatheaded douche baggery and I don't like seeing him win. Especially like that

Played a lot of SoR4 this weekend and the survival mode is 100%: Game essentially has bottomless replayability cause they made it into a rouge-like. Upgrades and unlocking new moves have made some of the stuff you can do completely insane; Like TOD on bosses insane.
