  1. I played that game a lot as a kid and had no idea what the hell was going on. But I remember you could get a literal glock 9 and shoot dudes, which blew my mind as a kid. I know that's in a lot of Castlevania games, but as a 10 year old I thought it was hilarious and so freaking cool. Also, is it the only Castlevania with an American protag?
  2. Word, they're pretty ugly. He's the one who's the biggest name in that style and is the one that's made it "in vouge" Cause his type of stank is different than "Juff who will give you a tat for $30 in his basement"
  3. https://instagram.com/auto_christ?utm_medium=copy_link enjoy lol.
  4. She's dope, lucky that you have good artist near you. Stu is jealous lol. But yeah, micro tats. That's all bangbang's fault. His NYC shop does all those tiny tats on celebs. Better than the autochrist stuff at least. Dear lord those are the worst. But also, I love them lol
  5. I'd like to see some healed pics, but from the looks of it, he is. Has that cool "photorealism/neo traditional" blend that's popping off right now. Better than tho micro tattoos that all the influencers are getting. That being said, I'd totally get a micro tattoo 🤣
  6. You're good, homie. As long as you say away from the inside of the arm you'll be fine. the outside of the arm/shoulder is one of the least painful places I've been tattooed. Now the inside of the arm can be a real bitch. The absolute worst tho? The armpit. Never again. But when it comes to pain and tattooing there's a ton of factors: You're personal thresholds What you're getting and something that people don't talk about enough: Your artist and their touch. I've have tattoos that I barely noticed were happening and ones in similar places done by other people that SUCKED SO MUCH ASS, FUCK. The guy that did my sleeve had the heaviest hand ever on linework. His shading was really light. He warned me before hand lol
  7. Yeah, it's a slippery slope. Sounds like you're like my wife and I'm like... Your wife. Awww shoot, we married now
  8. That looks great! I've got a skull in almost the exact same spot lol and the elbow ditch is a bitch, same with the wrist. Lots of blood vessels and nerves and not a lot of fat or muscle to protect it
  9. I will say, this video does make all those "Why don't cops just shoot people in the leg" people look real stupid. Guy got shot in the leg, ran around the truck and beat a man half to death with an AR. This ain't the movies. People don't just give up when you shoot them in the leg.
  10. But... If I'm God.. and You're God... Then... Just hanging out having fun
  11. Yeah, I was an absolute monster by the end of the normal castle. And there's still rooms in the early goings of the RC that are pretty easy to breeze through. But then there's the occasional bullshit room or boss. One thing that I hated at first and now sort of enjoy is that every weapon has a unique mechanic, but it's up to you to figure that shit out. Like I found a short sword that you can just THROW like a boomerang. Now every time I pick up a weapon I spend 3 minutes just trying stuff out lol
  12. I totally see that, the one thing I'd say is that it really shows the seams in the reverse castle. A big reason is that you have all the traversal tools available to you as soon as you walk in, so finding the natural progression of where you should go is... kinda off? The normal castle guides you more or less to where the next thing you are suited to handle is going to be imho. It's obviously an open exploration thing, but it does a great job of subtly pointing you in the right direction. The RC isn't really doing that. So I was thinking that it would be more like a darksouls thing where you go to where the enemies are the weakest and where you can handle yourself, but SotN ain't about that shit. They throw damage sponges and glass cannons in the same room. I'm not sure if that's the point or not, or if I'm missing some context clues 🤷‍♀️
  13. Made it to the Reverse Castle. This place is BONKERS. I can't decide if it's a masterclass in game design or a wack-ass idea that works. There's lots of cool stuff and then some parts of it seem so slapped together and rough compared to the rest of the game. At the end of the day, the reverse castle is intriguing and fun, if not occasionally confusing and frustrating
  14. Maaaaan I love Ren And Stimpy. They got Powdered Toast Man too. Hope this guy makes it in
  15. Some great recent fights: the DC/Stipe trilogy is fun to watch all in a row Zhang Weili vs. Jedrzejcyk is a must watch both of the Moreno/Figueiredo fights are outstanding
  16. What an incredibly sad weekend for MMA. Vitor back on the juice attempted to murder a grandpa then called out an amateur. The face of the sport trying to fight the soundcloud version of slenderman... Dear lord... At least tito got his ass got and silva is looking to make good money boxing. The only upside.
  17. SotN is a masterpiece, but it keeps doing things that I find obtuse, and honestly it needs some QOL stuff to compete with HK. Imma say it, SM holds up better than SotN. But I ain't here to just shit-talk SotN, cause that's disingenuous. SotN does exploration so incredibly well, the music, art direction, and overall presentation is a 10/10. I mean, just look at the wereskeletons, hands on the hips all sassy and shit. The enemy variety alone makes this game outstanding.
  18. I really hope triller goes away soon. They're slimy and the productions they put on are bad. Like really bad. And I already know that if something bad happens to holyfield, they won't take any of the responsibility.
  19. I'm actually playing Dad of War for the first time right now and I gotta say it's easily one of the top five games of the 8th(xbone/PS4) generation. It's so gosh darn good. But I sorta got spoiled in this thread cause of the Thor art. Does he not show up in Dad of War? Also, Thor just looks like Strong-Dad-bod Modi, which makes sense. Super stoked, been reading a lot of Norse mythology as a result of the game and Ragnorok pretty much lays out a ton of cool boss fights for the game. Like a fight with Fenrir is pretty inevitable
  20. See this is where I know I’d screw it up. You’re explanation makes sense, and makes it seem a lot more obtainable to most players, but I have a tendency to be a little bird brained when I’m playing. I guess I’m trying to say, the fact that I know there’s a second half of the game is enough to make me want to get there, but if it was 1997 and I didn’t have the internet to tell me that, I’d never find it. not the game’s fault, but I know myself.
  21. I'm in the midst of my first legit playthrough of SotN and I gotta say, this game is hands down one of the best games of all time. But I also gotta say, it's chalked full of old game density. That's not really a bad thing, it's just interesting because it's stuff you'd never see outside of a fromsoft game in the last decade or so. i.e.: Spells being available from the jump, but the game still lets you pay for them. Another one I think is really interesting is the wolf form. You pick it up and it just says "Alucard can turn into a wolf now" and that's it. It doesn't even tell you what button to press, or that the wolf has a dash. The game trusts in the players ability to just figure stuff out and doesn't hold your hand at all. If SotN came out today, you'd pick up the wolf form upgrade and there would be 3 text boxes saying how it works and how to apply it. Then in the next room there would be an immediate application for it and a neon sign that says "USE THE WOLF THING HERE" flashing. I kinda dig it, cause it encourages the player to backtrack and look for places to use it instead of barreling forward. I'm just happy I have the internet and plenty of places to figure out how to get the reverse castle, cause I would never figure out how to do that on my own.
  22. I’m playing through that game right now. a little tip: save your money and don’t buy any spells. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, but they’re all unlocked from the beginning and you can use them if you have enough MP. Just look up the motions. also, what the hell does a library card do?
