hmmmm....wonder if this documentary will go into the full story of what happened at Konami or if he's still under NDA for that.

BotW/TotK is gonna be the base skeleton for games moving forward mostly likely in terms of openness and adventuring around and that's probably going to be it.  They'll do like they've done before and take that reiterate on what's already there with other ideas.  For all we know they might come up with  solution for breakable weapons while keeping a reason for exploring  and searching areas without destroying the economy so I can stop hearing about it.  That'd be nice.  I'd also imagine they'll likely keep refining the dungeon formula like they did with TotK.  Hopefully some game down the road will have the best of both worlds from the Pre BotW and post but I imagine the gameplay logistics are gonna take some time to figure out.

I honestly would not want another Ultra hand Zelda game, but I do hope they have the team that did all this connective work get to do another original title which can feature them polishing it more. I know they will implement some of the systems from BotW and TotK in future games but stuff like fuse/item mechanic shouldn't be just a one off for this game when you can build on it.

Technically he doesn't or shouldn't have final say on what wins it is supposed to be a mesh of votes from media and the public.

Props to the Armored Core fans for pushing that through, as nice as that game was it was another one swallowed by the BG3 and Starfield hype

    Aonuma and Fujibayashi GI interview
    https://www.gameinformer.com/interview/2023/12/07/aonuma-and-fujibayashi-talk-tears-of-the-kingdoms-reception-and-their-approach

They pretty much talk about TotK's reception, timeline stuff, as well as about what to expect from the next game.  They pretty much said not to expect another sequel in this hyrule, they're moving on.  Don't expect Ultrahand in future titles.  There are some spoilers here and there so if you still haven't beat the game be wary.

i know u guys are gonna think im jerkin this game off, but genshin impact is impressing me more n more. the more i play. i took a hiatus from playing the game for over a year. waiting fora cryo catalyst to be released. and when she did. i started playin again aaand. wow. its not just the new areas i havent explored but they really improved the gameplay. genshin was a botw rip off. with its gimmick climbing mechanic. but the one major complaint peeps had was its dungeon design. or better said lack of it.
cuz dungeons were essentially just battle areas. which got tired quick. but ever since i stopped playin they added zelda like dungeons involving puzzles and its a blast! very fun. solving these zelda puzzles.
genshin is def one of the very best rpgs ever made. i cant stop playing. addictive.
im gonna check out star ocean 2 after i complete all these quests n locations. but it seems thatll be months from now cuz genshin content i havent completed  is massive

You can also make some pretty crazy builds for your units using the gems and equipment. However, it’s not necessary at all. Just thinking about XC3, I still remember the epic feeling of hearing the chain attack music kick in. I should go back and play the dlc or start XC1. Yet, I still have so many other games first.

So I went on Splatoon 3 last night to try out the new/returning stages and weapon kits. Right now, Triple Splashdown is a nightmare to deal with. It is a get out jail free card and MFs got that sucker broken out of the glass case. The fact that it is in a set with Dualies makes it even more irritating. Coming across a W was like finding a bottle of water in a desert.

On the flip side, I did find out that the Painbrush is a great counter play to Dualie users. In several encounters, I was able to take out Dualie users and all the rolling in the world couldn't save them.

With Back in Action leaving HBO Max tomorrow, I decided to watch it for the first time in decades. It’s a bit messy, but I think it aged much better than Space Jam did. Mostly because the leads are actually actors, but also because they mostly focus on Bugs and Daffy instead of trying to cram every Looney Tune in. I also appreciate the movie using Roger Rabbit rules instead of the two different worlds like in Space Jam.

It also aged well in other aspects. With the heads of WB being incompetent and the plot being kickstarted with the studio trying to get rid of Daffy, it makes the movie even funnier with what has been happening recently.

The Switch feels like they took a massive step back in personalization in every aspect of the system besides buying different color joy cons and special edition hardware.

They reduced Mii usage/implementation to basically nonexistence unless you buy certain games, themes which were pretty well done on the 3DS are gone, the profile picks are basically limited to what they give for free or a way to waste the platinum points they give out in abundance but limits the actual goods they let you use it on. And don't get me started on the UI issues when it comes to sorting games taking years after to launch to be partially done.

While the Switch is probably my favorite Nintendo system and one of the ones I have the most games for, shit could be improved in a lot of ways.
