I only feel bad for Johnny in that he did what they agreed to in their divorce and yet she still felt the need to leverage him as a prop for money and clout while lying about her being exactly the same in their relationship, if not worse since she seems to be the main instigator of their conflicts, and was the one to always escelate said conflicts to violence. Its hard for me to say I don't respond to violence in kind.
 
The rest of my enjoyment is just seeing "Believe women" get dragged so damn hard. Im tired of women getting a free pass on abuse. I also like watching shitty people get dragged, Johnny strikes me as a weirdo artist with quirks while Amber seems batshit crazy and manipulative, so i get schadenfreude from seeing her make an absolute fool of herself on the world stage. 

I haven't been there in ages they had a lot of games from what I remember also modern games like SFIV cab and KOF XIII that was the main reason I went there. Entry was like 15 dollars and you could play all day long. Me and my body were invited to a tournament they were doing on KOF XIII one day I almost took the whole thing but lost the final to one of the old srker, forgot his name. 
 
I guess the place is pretty good if you can go with a couple of friends and have fun. I stopped going cause noone would play me so I was just there playing alone. I didn't see anybody actually having skills in any of the games either maybe that has change i need to check it out again.

Yeah it was my disappointment when I got here in the U.S in 2000 they had plenty of arcades but nobody played them. It's like my buddie said " I don't think gringos were that much into arcade culture to begin with". And you're right Of all the arcades I visited I saw nobody play a game like that. 
 
Some people still find fun playing a fighting game solo specially if they are new to the genre, otherwise arcade mode and story mode wouldn't exist (lol sfv).
Boots up game dies 3 times in the first stage gets obliterated by the boss calls the game shit. I don't know if that's you but I've heard this from other people who don't know what the hell they're doing. Sure if you have boddies use more credits and have fun nothing wrong with it.
 
 

I like those old belt scrolling brawlers even today. TMNT 89 I'd a fantastic and fair brawler and so was Turtles in Time. Capcom made a bunch of great and fair belt scrollers. The Xmen Brawler is fantastic to on proper hardware. The Simpsons Brawler is over rated as fucking hell and was never as good as people said it was anyway. As mentioned that shit gets incredibly cheap on the back end. Most people just moved on before they got that far. That game isn't very good and I wouldn't use it as a bench mark for whether old belt scrolling brawlers where any good or not. 

The original Wii models play Gamecube game and are compatible the Gamecube controllers, etc. You can get a Wii HDMI adapter for $8 to $13.

The TMNT collection was a nice surprise for me because if I remember correctly there has never been a TMNT collection in forever!? I fucking loved those games growing up in the 80's and 90's and I haven't played them ever since. Tournament fighters was the only turtles game I ever owned which I ended up trading it back then for some other game I think it was Chrono trigger. This is also a great opportunity to play some games online with a friend who isn't that much into video games anymore and who rather play something familiar with something he already knows how to use (a PS4).
In my opinion this kind of argument almost always comes from someone who never actually played those games when they came out. Sure they are old but bad?! I don't know about that. For example out of all the games tournament fighters was the game I played mostly alone cause I was older and I didn't have anybody to play with. I know there's tournament footage online which I haven't seen or played in any tournaments anyway. So it's going to be interesting going online fresh and see what the community has come up with in all these years. It's like rediscovering old games.

Listen...I don't care what you do honestly.  You wanna keep stealing your games that you don't feel its worth the money to purchase?  You do you.  All I'm saying is that your thought process on it being a victimless crime would not fly...it does not hold water.  That would go for any company period, it doesn't matter if they are a billion dollar company and have more money than what they know what to do with.  If you're downloading a copy of a game that you didn't pay for then from their eyes and the courts eyes that's technically illegal.   And to be clear I'm not even trying to defend Nintendo or any VG company that decides to come for people for emulation and roms cause I'm slightly more on the "I'd like games to be preserved and people need to be able to play older games more easily and if they can't do it legally well..."  What I'm saying is purely from an objective standpoint.

IMO, those belt scrollers like X-Men, TMNT, Final Fight, etc, they were all awesome back in the day in arcades.  They were perfect to play for like 5-10 minutes at a time on a couple bucks, playing with random strangers or your friends.   But when you play them at home, as a grown adult, they just aren't the same as they used to be.  
 
One glaring one to me is The Simpsons.  I LOVED that game as a kid and would play it every chance I got.  I played it a couple months ago, start to finish, on my MAME cab on a CRT so it is basically arcade perfect, and it simply is not a great game lol.  It's cheap as hell and it is just so god damn hard on the later levels.  
 
Playing these older games, especially the light gun games I have, it's so obvious that these games were designed from the ground up to take your money.  I'm not saying that can't be fun or anything either, but when you are younger and playing them, you don't think about that stuff and don't really get "why" the games are as cheap as they are at certain points.  But as an adult who understands it now, it's just a different type of game to play.

The cheapest light gun one I have is Police Trainer.  On the final level you have these targets in a grid that you have to hit in order.  Well the way they make you keep playing over and over and paying to play is that literally your aim is not where you are aiming.  Like it offsets your aim to make you miss targets, even when you have it right up against the screen directly over the target.  Then magically after continuing like 5-6 times, your aim is magically better.
 
It's genius in hindsight but damn it's cheap lol.

Make sure you let Nintendo or VG  company know this if you ever get handed a lawsuit.  I'm sure they'll empathize with you.

Digital Eclipse is doing the TMNT collection, so while it may not be perfect (have crappy menus/UI and lobbies, possibly), at least the online games should have rollback and have a somewhat decent netcode… The SF30A netcode isn’t great, especially when playing randoms (though we don’t know distances and if they’re wired/wifi, etc), but games with people on here in NA and have always been ok.

That is the kind of thing I won't get personally but even if I did, I would probably play each game just to try it out and never go back to it.  But also, if I wanted to play any of those games right now, I could do so very easily.  And you would also realize that a lot of those games you think were good and have nostalgia for, aren't really that good at all.
 
Sometimes, having too many options like that is bad and makes it so you can't settle on just playing everything because you want to just see what the next one is like.  I had this problem big time when I was a huge pirate and had over 1300 PSX games.  I would never actually "play" a game.  I'd put it in the console, check it out for like 5-10 mins, and then go onto the next one.  I had a never ending supply of "the next one" since I had so many games.

Yeah I found Cuphead to not be even close to living up to the hype it got.  I bought it on X1 few weeks after it was released and was like "This is it?  This is the game everyone hyped up?"
 
I think I beat like 6-7 levels maybe and just never went back to it.  I just found it kinda boring.

I am still hoping for an eventual steam release of Bloodborne just because I know some fan patch will fix everything that is wrong with the game and finally make the game perfect.  Loved that game but the loading times were PAAAAAIIINNNNNFFULLLL.
