I wonder if the sIrin stuff is going to be a bigger focus for season 2 and this is hinting at it? Also we're getting maintenance on the 8th, hope the trailer drops soon.

I actually like the gremlin angle, not just because it's funny. I see it as showing how maladjusted & empty she is without the violence being focused on Bison and not dealing with her trauma.   She's been directionless and between a few gigs and encounters, when left alone, all she's got is emptiness.

A.K.I., fully villainous as she is, has F.A.N.G. and her shop in her life, but Juri's got nothing, hence why she tsundere's around the WTM character and slows shows a connection (and embellished tales) to them. A nice, compelling arc.

I....I want more anime adaptations of Street Fighter. With all the collabs, it'd be golden to see more of these, but you know, a fulll on OAV or series.

The trailer has the 2nd appearance of G. I hope that hints at him coming in season 2 lol

Also, with all the talk of erasing and life paths, she could have just opted not to talk about her brother since he's no longer relevant to who and what she is now.

Baki x Street Fighter has the potential to be absolute insane fun. What's it gonnna be? In game stuff, or another one-shot manga thing?

She's not beyond "A girl that is evil". They have very different looks, mannerisms, voices, attitudes, etc.

Yeah, they're already doing what I was hoping they'd do; she gets super analytical and then fangirls out when she things of FANG. She's not constantly making double entendres, interplay of sex & violence moments & depression like Juri.

Only in the Udon book one shot which was enjoyable. She had the ability to manifest a crustacean-like armor. I wanna see more of these two, they're underrated.

I definitely like what I'm seeing of AKI. As Cestus said, it's cool that they didn't just stop at white hair, but like people with Albinism, they gave her the eyelashes too. It's early, but I think what the devs can do to save her from being Juri 2.0 is have her crazy tempered. instead of being violent, trolling, sensual, and cackling mad, Aki could take what we saw and run with it; she can be a studious info-dump of info about Poisons, somewhat playful when she's got her prey, but typically have an almost analytic personality only dipping into the hysterical Yandere occasionally when she's succeeded in Poisoning someone, doing something that FANG would praise her for, etc.

Yeah, it's an ancestor, Gill's under 40. The whole secret society leadership isn't a till death thing and frequently replace the leadership. Nothing's indicated that Gill's immortal and an old, pre-existing leader, he and Urien are young blood.

I dunno, depending how they go about it, it could be cool. It's way too early to write off. It could be more than just taking the land, it could show some of the origins of the SS and Rashid's ancestors being stomped could be more than just a land grab, what if the wind element in Rashid's style was a threat to an early illuminati who hadn't gotten all the sacred treasures? What if there's another angle entirely?
