I don't think I'm tired of SF6, but I haven't been playing much of it over the past few months. I sorta just come and go.  I've actually been playing a lot more single-player stuff over the past few months. 
 
I stopped playing SFV early on as well, only to return. I still gotta get back into World Tour Mode. 

Anyone else tired of SF6? I don't dislike the game and I think it's a big improvement over V, I just don't feel like playing it anymore for some reason.

I'm not tired of the game. I do wish we get more lounges going to play each other though.

I was playing my buddy last night and did a qcb.fk with Dee Jay to get his fk sway, but his fk sobat came out and I ended up eating a level 3 because of it.  I was like wtf how did I do qcb and get qcf input?  So I looked at replays immediately after like wtf.
 
And sure as shit, I did a qcb and the damn sobat came out.  
 
After looking at it in slow mo, I could finally figure out WHY it happened.  Took me a while to figure it out but thought I'd post the video here.
 
 
Typically if my opponent is not in the corner, I will do b.fk and cancel into fk.sway after the first hit of b.fk.  But when they are in the corner, I will let both his of b.fk hit and then do fk sway so I can continue a juggle combo.  But since Cammy was kind of close to the corner, I wanted to see if I could carry her into the corner to do the corner juggle, which is why I did not try to cancel after the first hit of b.fk.  So that was my reasoning for not canceling after 1 hit in this instance.
 
I just wanted to preface it with that though.  
 
After eyeballing that video in slow mo though, it made sense to me why that sobat came out.

Stuff like that is why I was ok with mechanics like breakaways in MK11. I know people want to just be able to combo their opponents without there being any chance of them escaping, but I think every game with long combos needs some mechanic to allow you to escape at a cost, and the cost of doing a breakaway was such that it was a "you done fucked up, son" type of move that could even be punished by an astute player.

The combo lengths in this game are getting ridiculous. I'm not talking about the no. of hits, but the actual duration of the sequence. There's a Shang Tsung combo that goes on for 54 seconds. Yes, 54 seconds, damn near a whole minute that you're getting juggled, and I think it could go over a minute had they mixed in a FB somewhere near the end. Once you're launched you can put the controller down, get a drink, walk the dog, learn a language and come back before it's your turn again.
 
Not that anyone cares, the game's been out for 4 months so its standard NRS 3-month competitive lifespan is already over.

I'm not sure whose side to pick here. On the one hand, it's pretty stupid that you can get to Master rank with a negative win rate, let alone 43%. On the other hand, if you can't get past Diamond 3 with Ken and Cammy you're in no position to criticize anyone and we should all just point and laugh at you.

You could get to master in SFV with a 46% win rate. The reason why it was so fucking hard was because the ranks were super compressed due to lack of players. So being at 1400LP put you in the bracket of fighting everyone that was right on the cusp of Ultra Platinum all the way to fucking Warlord. Absolutely no one that wasn’t pushing 70% win rate was making any substantial gains. Because SF6 has way more people playing it and because the ranking system doesn’t go to shit till you hit legend 43% W/L is pretty viable for hitting Master. 

I'm so sick of people asking for guest characters in SF6.  It has NEVER been a thing in SF.  There's so many awesome characters from the Street Fighter/Final Fight universe that aren't in the game.  There aren't even any alpha or 3rd strike characters in the game.  And yet people are still asking for fucking guest characters lol.  

You know, if these bullshit collabs keep guest characters out of the game. I've changed my mind on them being terrible. Good, keep them coming. Keep that shit in NRS and Namco games. Costumes? Sure. Although you'll have to give up your first born child to afford them...

One thing I'm finding myself doing more often is admiring the stages in classic 2D fighters.
 
Whether it's Alpha 1, KOF99, or Marvel Super Heroes. I've always been so focused on mashing buttons that I've never taken the time to enjoy them. There's a story within them all.
 
No matter how old these games are, I'll never forget what they meant to me growing up.
