  1. The memory of this game "The Dishwasher" randomly hit me the other day so I looked it up to see if it is on Steam and playable with the Deck...and yep it is... I forgot there was a newer one in 2017: https://store.steampowered.com/app/268990/The_Dishwasher_Vampire_Smile/
  2. haha, as if any game companies want anything to do with that "super disc". Vast majority of them want us all to own absolutely nothing and like it. BG3--- at this point I may have to actually jot down some notes... there's so much going on and I may have taken on too many quests at one time with this latest character Julian I've been playing. *Oh, another awesome thing about hitting level 5 (thinking of my other character for a minute)----a warlock gets a 2nd eldritch blast per attack/action! That in addition to having that monstrous "Hunger of Hadar" spell available is obviously a big deal.
  3. BG3- the choices even on level-up are just tough sometimes... too good...so with this other character I've been playing... Julian the Warlock... I just hit level 4 after that hellish fight against a pack of gnolls by a cave. Since Wyll is in the crew that was a good way to experiment with different warlock options here... for Wyll I took "Ritual Caster" which lets you cast 2 spells outside combat without using up a spell slot...picked Speak with the Dead and another thing I forgot about already. For my character Julian I just went with "ability improvement" and got 2 points to charisma so now he's already up with 19 points in that. Recently I also did some sidequest where that village was on fire, so I got that charged staff which adds lightning charges occasionally to attacks....now, this added lightning charge to the damage of Eldritch Blast is in addition to the necrotic damage from the "Hex" if I use that....*and* this is the real deal E.Blast with the "agonizing" and "repelling" effect on. Oh yeah this warlock is about to be a real monster, big time.
  4. Hilary D. exceeded my expectations. I saw the potential in her many years ago and of course kept tabs. Yes, there's a lot of pictures in the collection at this point. Oh yeah the wheels are in motion at this point on Nino Br... I mean Tiffany Henyard
  5. Yeah, in the "famous pawg" category, Scarlet and Hilary Duff are the top ranks that come to mind right away...and Bryce Dallas Howard (though she has this annoying habit of dressing "frumpy" in most pictures I've seen). I remember renting that movie Lost In Translation *only* for the panty scene. (*even if it's not actually her that is an incredible panty/ass scene....but if I recall it actually was her and not a body-double) *That woman kicking the kennels in the video---- I'm betting zero consequences....apparently she still hasn't been found yet and has done it before. I'd love to see her run up on the wrong people one day....just randomly slap someone who goes off and stomps her dumb ass out right there immediately. That's the lesson a person is supposed to learn for doing shit like that, in addition to possible legal consequences. Imagine if a guy just randomly slapped and spat on anyone else while walking out... he'd probably get jumped in the next 2 seconds, especially if the victim was a random woman.
  6. I've been interested in what I've seen and played (a friend's copy) of Evil West so yeah I intend to get that one... I think it runs on Steam Deck so of course I'm getting it there. BG3 - I went back to my Tiefling warlock "Julian", who was still a fresh character ....moving the story along here to get to that delicious moment where he will betray his own people. Heh, that's going to be so so good....yes yes...
  7. Oh yeah, Tannis is one of the absolute hottest girls in the Borderlands franchise. JLC from the late 80s to early 90s would've been understandable....but as much as most fans love her, the woman is an older lady at this point; the reality is she looks like Tannis' mother or even grandmother now. I suppose they just wanted as many recognizable names as main characters as possible, but it's odd. *edit---there's a very brief shot of Moxxi in the trailer as well, but it's so quick people will blink and miss it https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/borderlands-movie-mad-moxxi-actress-113335341.html?guccounter=1&guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuYmluZy5jb20v&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAADtjPTbWuCmyoHp0NWcvP4ZqibK3UOdzccAYxo63YOoVZTlMd-oIzeuIL8foo3FJWOD47136KCFNqphVS2_zg3a9JiTpdzcE_2WqfdM2SrLbFrts6OoHF7dgHCDEEIY_VichQUH4dFNXFU7JtaqDXxOuKcSfl9o5vG4QrRLOhzvU ah ok---Gina Gershon---another old pick; she's 61 currently 😆 she is holding up amazingly well though in the looks department....other 60+ year old women wish they could look that good.
  8. oof, I'm already wondering what kind of disastrous results that Borderlands movie will get at the box office. It doesn't look quite as awful as I was expecting, but still that's some weird casting decisions going on there; particularly in pint-sized Kevin Hart as Roland and Jaime Lee Curtis as Tannis. ...also---no Mordecai or Brick??? It looks like the main group being focused on here is Lilith, Roland, Tina, Tannis and Claptrap.
  9. The Legend Silverfoxxx is back with a new one that premiered just a few moments ago:
  10. Oh yeah I'm into act 2 for real now, actually... made it to Moonrise Towers... so many cool things have happened now, and my warlock is level 6. I have now met with General Thorm... goddamn what an entrance:
  11. man, I'm up to around 50-ish hours on ps5 Baldur's Gate at this point, maybe more...still just now getting to the act 2 area, and I've only played with 2 character classes, warlock and sorcerer. The next one I try will probably be paladin if not wizard. It's tough to stop making new characters and focus on one for a while though; there's always new character ideas popping up in my imagination on a regular basis. **The one thing I really want added though is a transmog customization option. That should've become the standard in gaming already. It would make me even more addicted to this game. That kind of customization also naturally removes the problem we get when clothing and armor items have stats.... when there is no transmog/customization, then all characters eventually look the same when you go for whatever the optimal stats/build is. It's always better to swap the appearance of those items so your character can have whatever "style" you want it to have regardless of stats. My friend got the game as well (he also recently joined the Steam Deck master race), but it's frustrating to not be able to discuss adventures since everything significant of course will be a spoiler.
  12. I am not even a fan of this game but this got a laugh out of me.... also proof that multiplayer situations in a "hardcore" mode... with people you don't know isn't the best idea
  13. BG3 - the battle earlier against the druids put that sinister idea into my imagination... a combo of another "area hazard" type of spell (like maybe Darkness or that one that summons plant growth) on top of Hunger of Hadar is going to be completely insane once I set that up. I made it through the rest of that palace... I played this game from afternoon to late night yesterday....probably should've stopped at certain points just to reflect on things....so many cool moments happened in those adventures. One point had the opportunity for my warlock character to invoke his patron! Also I found the Gith "egg" to take back to some old lady.... I did a bit of back and forth there with saves to see whether it was worth it to just complete the quest or kill the old woman. She gives 75 exp (easy kill since she's alone)... but if you complete the quest the payout is 230-something gold. I stuck with the option of just giving her the egg to get that sweet gold payout. In the palace area, Hunger of Hadar was once again just crushing them....seems best to cast at a distance but of course most of it between us and the enemies, so they face the problem of needing to go through the darkened area trying to get close enough to attack. Sometimes enemies can successfully "super jump" out of it; that seems silly to me but I guess otherwise the spell is that much more OP.....but even still, there's the ways of knocking them right back in there. Anyway, yeah---at level 5 if you're a warlock----Hunger of Hadar is THE main thing to get.
  14. BG3---so I'm in this palace looking area with lots of the Githyanki... On my way out, another room had quite a few in there, but they stood no chance against the power of that "Hunger of Hadar" spell. Some of them barely got a chance to do anything about it, other than trying to leave that darkness.....this is one of the coolest spells I've ever had fun with in an rpg... every time they take a turn doing anything...they take damage. Some of them never made it out of the darkness. ha, all that's left is smoldering dead bodies... some are corroded with the acid damage. The power of the Darkness will break them all. ooh, there's a "nautiloid" tank in this next room...so probably an illithid tadpole I could absorb, perhaps... more power, yes.... hell yeah this room is a goldmine! There was at least 4 or 5 tadpoles in here... I let Astarion have 1 but my main character took the rest; now I have the amazing "Cull the Weak" passive.
  15. yes yessss that's exactly why the mechanical bull-ride was invented. Oh yes I recorded that clip. Oh yeah that other post also reminded me there was a woman on social media recently going on about how being on time for things was a product of "white supremacy" as well. As I've said before, I love that the "hotep" types out there exist....similar to the flat-earth believers, it's always fun to laugh about whatever nonsense they're saying lately. I don't think some people are aware that there are indeed people out there that are like Martin Lawrence's character in Boomerang, that make *everything* out to be racist or some element of "white supremacy".
  16. I'm hoping the plan for BlazBlue Entropy Effect is eventually to add most or all of the Blaz Blue cast to it... this is pretty damn great, imo...because since fighting games are mostly focused on having a big cast of cool characters, adding that to another genre like sidescrolling action/roguelike makes for one hell of a good concept that appeals to me. Currently, I started with Jin Kisaragi as my first unlocked character....and Hakumen will likely be my next one.
  17. Out of morbid curiosity again---I checked some stats for Redfall to see how many people were playing lately---- it was a total of 20 people on as of a little while ago.... 64 players at most in the past 24 hours. 🤣 I also check the reddit forum on occasion to see what the few remaining fans are talking about lately....especially that topic of wondering if they will finish the extra content for the Bite Back edition or have to do refunds....or are they just hoping people forget about it so they don't have to bother either way. I'd bet it's that 3rd option. Eventually when it hits absolute zero fans playing at any given time.... they're safe to move on without any flak since at that point everyone has forgotten and no longer cares.
  18. ooh, Perri Nemiroff just went live with her Madame Web review....I definitely look forward to checking that out later, because she seems to always try to skew positive; has a hard time being harsh on anything from what I've seen of her vids/commentary. John Campea didn't appear to hold back in his "fresh out of theater" quick review/impression of it. Another one (also formerly of the old Collider crew) Kristian already has a vid just posted "Is Madam Web Really that Bad"....ohhh yeah this should be a fun watch. Harloff seems a bit more even than the others though; he doesn't seem to have much of a problem saying a certain movie or show sucked. ...such a strange idea to use that character as a main character in a movie in the first place, imo. The powers again though----now imagine animal mimicry going to that next level by including abilities of the insect kingdom. Now you're really talking game-breaker stuff all in 1 power. With the strength of a dung beetle, you could push or pull/lift a bit over 1,100 x your own weight. Then there's stuff like stingers, neurotoxin effects, amazing levels of speed and reaction time, and weird stuff like the bombardier beetle's ability to produce a super-hot liquid spray as a defense mechanism, or the bio-luminescence of a firefly, or the tardigrade's ability to survive nearly anything.
  19. Oh and then there's the mutant power choice I forgot to mention.... my ideal choices are the usual superpowers I've always wanted, if we're talking simple things...any of these would be good---- superhuman speed/agility, psychic abilities (doesn't have to be top-rank like Xavier either; give me some "mid" level psychic ability and that would be awesome to me), or some level of super-durability like the Colossus "metal skin" ability, "ghostly" phasing, or cool shadow/darkness-based abilities.....any 1 or 2 of these things would be my preferred choice of X-gene power. ...ooh, and shapeshifting....also that perfect animal ability mimicry like Beastboy and Vixen have (*preferably like Vixen in that I can have the animal abilities without needing to change form like Beastboy does....but as a mutant power; Vixen needs a magical totem thing for this power.) ...but out of all these things, the psychic powers rank as the top most wanted thing, so that as a combo with at least 1 other thing would be golden. ...actually, that animal mimicry power is a good "cheat code", btw... because it's tons of super powers in one deal. Imagine you could generate electric/shock attacks like an eel, mimic the venomous bite of a black mamba snake, have color-change camouflage like a chameleon or octopus, gain superior vision like a bird of prey, or fly, have the strength of a gorilla, speed of a cheetah, etc. etc. Animal mimicry is another one of those top-rank power choices.
  20. ha, Morph had such a small amount of time in the old show that most people probably forgot he exists....it was shocking at the time to have a named character *apparently* get killed off on a Saturday morning cartoon. I probably still have some episodes on tape after all these years. YES... in 2024 I'm one of those people that still actually has vhs tapes.
  21. I'm curious which path you all would take if the X-gene and that whole scenario was real. More than likely I'd be one of those mutants that sides with Magneto if the choice was between him or going to Professor Xavier's school....even though ultimately that's a reckless path to become the enemy of "normal" humanity. ....but if I could track down Mr. Sinister and Apocalypse to side with them though, even better. ...it would suck to be cursed with a lame mutant power though; obviously not all of them are winners. Imagine being like Warren Worthington III, and all you got were those big goofy angel wings...that character wasn't cool until Apocalypse "fixed" him. **edit---yeah on the physical media front--- I'm never getting rid of my cd/dvd/blu-ray etc. collection....they would only get thrown away if the disc itself is damaged and worthless for that reason. It amazes me that so many people (seemingly most people) don't care about owning things. When you have a real copy of your favorite thing----it no longer matters if the internet is down today, or if the company that owns the IP of that thing suddenly goes away or gets bought out, shut down or whatever. You always have that copy of it. Not that long ago I was playing Phantasy Star Online on Gamecube again....because it still works after 20+ years. We won't be able to say the same about a lot of popular games today in the year 2044. ....oh yeah, also in that big CD/DVD pack I was looking through the other day---I also have the DVD of the movie Coffy, featuring Pam Grier in her prime. It's pretty sad that people today are content to be 100% reliant on an internet connection and what various streaming services have in their catalogue *at the moment* (which could go away tomorrow for whatever reason)....that you pay for indefinitely instead of just that 1 time disc purchase.
  22. Interesting... but that trailer seems to show us almost all of what the movie has going on there. I realize it's a tough balance though with how much to show off in a trailer. *on another note---Millie grew up to be significantly better looking than what I expected. ...and that reminds me; they just recently started shooting the last part of Stranger Things....hahaha that will be so awkward to see how old those people look now, still playing "kid" characters on the show. They waited a bit too long to finally wrap that show up.
  23. ah yes, see that iteration of X-men is the real deal for me---the blue/gold outfits taking me back to the days of the old Saturday morning cartoon. I was late to the game on comics in general so that show was where I started caring about X-men, really. (*it was not until after the cartoon that I started getting into some of the books---so like the mid to late 90s era) It's a relief to see new animation in this era where they want to just keep making poor live-action shyte out of cartoons and comics so often. ...and yeah, it irked me in the old movies that they put them in black leather outfits, since back then studios were scared of how potentially silly bright colorful outfits might* look in live action. (**---as with everything...that's really only if it's done poorly. Other superhero movies later proved it can be done just fine in reasonably comic accurate outfits and colors.) ...and imagine how cool it will be when/if Apocalypse and Mr. Sinister show up in this new show!!!
  24. BG3--(adventures of the newer character Julian the warlock)- it's interesting having Wyll in the crew now as a 2nd warlock... currently he is set up with the "misty step" teleport which is nice; I haven't used that before...also I gave him the "Command" power as well, which worked to great effect in a recent battle when Wyll made 2 crossbow-users drop their weapons. He also has "vicious mockery" but I haven't used that yet. *in the early levels for warlock, casting a Hex on enemies before you hit with Eldritch Blast....the damage is so juicy for a low level character. It seems like the optimal way is always going to be Agonizing + Repelling Blast and using your hex power for the added damage.... that knock-back effect is just too good to pass up...and later on when you get a certain other *spoiler* power, you can add even more damage in another way whenever you cause an enemy to take falling damage. I love playing warlock so much that it's tough to even be interested in the other classes that much. With this crew I barged in on that "loveshack" again...that never stops being funny to me... of course we murdered the couple.
