sheeeittt, Mission is my favorite brand of tortilla chips at the moment. Previously it was Santitas which are always cheap but most of the time I'm going for the Mission ones lately. That + some meat and the Paul Newman brand salsa is an amazing combo....don't even need fancy cooking skill for that--- I cook the meat up in a pan (ground beef or turkey), put the salsa on there and mix it around, then scoop with the Mission chips.

ha, I still can't help but laugh when I remember a certain friend saying in Diablo 3 that GR 20 was "impossible" (*because he always had unbelievably crappy, stupid-ass builds and is just plain lazy...imagine, walking around with underleveled, non-legendary gear, no set-items and wondering "damnnn why are my characters so weak!?" 😆 so ridiculous) as I push further into that each season... just yesterday I steamrolled a GR 101 easy, and this Necro still isn't fully optimized just yet.... the "Altar" for this season makes the characters more OP than they have ever been... I have most of it unlocked at this point. all these years later... my old college buddy (different from the aforementioned friend) is finally getting thru the rest of the story mode; this was sparked by his interest in D4. haha it's 11 years later with this game and the guy is just now doing the rest of story mode....after all this time I will no longer have to tip-toe around certain spoilers there.

That presentation of Final Fanntasy XVI was incredible.... I'm sure there's some terribly jaded younger-generation gamers out there trying to play it cool like "eh that looked boring" as some of the most epic shit I've ever seen in years is happening on screen. This is SO bought, man.... it might even be worth some time off work too...maybe that whole week. Those battles man, goddamn Day one purchase, easyyyy. I must have it.

^hell yeah, now that's more of what I want....this looks more serious and cool, as opposed to the usual lame, campy 2-hour comedy show a lot of people seem to want these days.

whoah, that Renfield game looks like my kind of thing then---- basically a much better-looking version of Vampire Survivors. I know VS is an "indie" game but the visuals there are just ugly, tbh. ...a bit of a shame that this is likely to be the only thing related to that upcoming movie that I'll enjoy....and yep I realize that I'm alone on that opinion. That movie looks like straight up goofball lameness to me. I don't want cornball nonsense when it comes to cool supernatural stuff. It irks me that everyone else eats that shit up every damn time....everything becomes a fuckin comedy show.

More of a favorite topic of mine... supposedly a bonnet was part of what killed her relationship with MBJ?! If true then good for him, having some standards. Women get away with wearing that ridiculous nonsense partly because most dudes will put up with anything. Really, words cannot describe just how much I despise that shit. I'd gladly go back in time and beat the shit out of whoever invented it....or at least whoever recently helped it come back into style. I still see it on a regular basis, btw...whenever I'm in some public place where you'll see lots of black women. It's goddamn disgusting. A lot of them just don't care about how they look in public anymore. There's no way you can go out looking like that and claim you care about your image even slightly.

So, one of the Best Buy stores here has the arcade 1up Mortal Kombat machine...it was setup and on too so I played for a few rounds..at least used Scorpion's fatality on the first opponent.... .it was good to finally hear that particular bass "downward shift"(?) sound that hits *after* the word "Fatality."... which is missing from all the home versions: It annoyed me for many years that you just don't hear that cool sound^ in the SNES or Genesis versions....I don't recall it being anywhere else either; just the arcade. (which doesn't make sense--- surely that isn't something that's beyond the audio capability of a SNES...or other systems?!" Genesis' audio is inferior but...no other systems?!) Anyway, this arcade machine has always been a tough call for me... though I enjoyed those games, that series is truly just fun against other people, since the Mortal Kombat AI is notoriously a cheating piece of shit, designed that way as part of the usual arcade scam shenanigans (*just design the ai of a game to basically cheat the player in various ways so you can try to force as much money out of them as possible) back in the day. Funny thing is that even in the home versions it was still loaded with cheap bullshit, so it was always a game that's only fun against other people...never solo vs. the cpu-controlled characters.

This is one thing I was wondering about in the case of D. Wade's son who is now his "daughter".... if this situation occurred inn the 90s or 80s...or even really in the early 2000s.... it would just be a case of his son being an effeminate boy, likely growing up as a gay male, and that would be the extent of the situation... not the conclusion of "oh he must be a transgirl then." I wonder how many people these days are jumping to the wrong conclusions about their own child.... that's a shame, imo. I'd bet that most of the time, a tomboy is just that or a future lesbo.....or an effeminate boy is just that....and countless generations have also seen how it can just be a temporary phase anyway---and that "tomboy" occasionally grows up to be a very feminine woman that is very much straight.

I saw that old movie at Target about 2 years ago, before that particular location drastically reduced their tv/movie section (went from several rows to 1 small section of half an aisle... I hate this gradual death of physical media).... I thought about getting it for a while just to have such a legendary horrible movie in my collection, but nah... it's so terrible that I didn't even get it for myself for laughs. Keep in mind--- I actually bought the blu-ray of Leonard, part 6 from that store earlier. I strongly suspect that Leguizamo has really just been trolling, tbh....just to be funny and keep himself in the entertainment news at the moment.

Oh yeah, I still have that "tubgirl" pic somewhere; I thought most people who have been on the net since that early era of the mid-90s have seen the legend. There were some other "women with actual shit" pics from back then as well. 😆 always hilarious. I *think* the infamous "Gore Gallery" might've been a source on that back in the day; I always admired that site for how absolutely raw it was... like almost no rules at all on what kind of pictures you'd find....would be nice if the internet in general could return to those wild days. (*typically the only rule at a lot of places was the obvious "No CP." but everything else was allowed....heh, that era was awesome.) As for that choice, I'd rather drink the big cup of vomit instead of eating the shit. That seems "less" awful.

As bad as it sounds... the daughter getting into sex work doesn't sound quite as bad as the other option to me, if it's "just" porn for instance....and from there it could be something as tame as foot or leg fetish vids where she doesn't even need to show her face. A son getting into a life of crime means he would either end up dead or in prison very soon, so fuck that. Also it would be a great source of shame imo if my son were to become just another "Deebo" stereotype which is basically what the world expects out of this "tribe"....one factor in this is simply because for most of my life now I've hated them with an especially strong passion... the "Pookie & Ray-Ray".... the trash of the race that keeps everyone else's expectations of us so damn low. If I could "Order 66" exterminate a particular shitty component of the tribe they are the obvious top choice to be eliminated from the game permanently.

heh, I imagine the pacifist style in that game is a rough road with Dr. Reid being significantly weaker as a result; I'm curious now what the level and power difference exactly is then. I know there is an achievement called "Not Even Once" or something like that, for never eating any of the named characters. (I assume that in-combat bites probably don't count.) I *might* go for that achievement some day, but I don't look forward to being a weaker version of the character... I suppose it just means to focus that much more on the top-tier picks then for whatever points you get by advancing the story. It just hit me that if this were made into a live-action show, Tom Ellis has such a fitting look for the character.... too bad I already think of Tom more in a comedic context though, from his fame as "Lucifer" on the Fox/Netflix show. (*haha of course I could only imagine what the chumps that work in casting these days would do----they'd try and sell us Charles S. Dutton or Carl Weathers as Dr. Jonathan Reid. Obviously Elisabeth would be played by a black woman as well since she's a redhead and we all know the rules concerning that.)

back into the world of Vampyr since I have it on Steam Deck now....previously I only played a few minutes of this pc version.... I easily defeated the first "boss" character William Bishop and made it to Pembroke Hospital....heh, almost got killed by some level 7 skals while I was a mere level 3 though, but the shadow mist ability is so strong I was able to kill them once I got a solid hit with that. This round will be more cutthroat again so of course I killed Clay right from the start to get that niiiice 500 xp, and I'm level 6 now with Coagulation, the Shadow Veil (eventually upgrading this to the version where you get bonus damage for attacking while invisible) and upgraded stamina.

This is another one of the examples for why I firmly believe that the saying "honesty is the best policy" is one of the biggest lies ever told... the scenario of when one comes from a religious family, but happens to not believe the same as they do. It just makes things incredibly difficult all around to actually be honest with them, particularly since "religiously inclined" people tend to be incredibly close-minded to any contrary opinions on the matter. They can't tolerate simple questions and skepticism about any of it, usually....and naturally the more devout they are, the worse the reaction tends to be. I quickly learned early on not to voice my true opinions around certain older family members about that shit, just to keep the peace and avoid upsetting them too much.

I've been gradually getting more acclimated to boss rush mode now... I checked out Vee's vid on it as well: I got super close to beating 4C Giant on my Steam/pc version of the game a little while ago... just a few more hits and he would've been dead but he got me. I had at least 3 or 4 curse chests opened that run so my points in Tactics were high, and the damage output was glorious. A favorite lately has been explosive crossbow, though I realize that against some things like Timekeeper it's a bad choice. (Boss Rush version of Time Keeper is the worst possible matchup for it, btw; it's like you're a regular human trying to fight the Flash or Zoom from DC.) **edit---yep, Survival build helped me crush it this time... 4C Giant just got STOMPED easy... I was up to 27 Survival points with a Giantkiller sword that was XII-S. The damage was absolutely insane....now I'm going into the fight with the Hand of the King since you can go straight to Throne Room from the Giant... with the 2 more scrolls at 29 points nonw, Giantkiller sword has 124k critical damage. haha the Hand of the King just went down too. The Giantkiller sword, man... the damage is just too nasty. 🤣 Even though I was focused on Survival points, I still kept picking "Vengeance" passive... it's one of the best in the game, imo... just baseline we're talking about 61 or so % damage bonus after getting hit + some extra defense. For the final battle I also had Disengagement; always a good choice against the tougher bosses.

I'm trying the Dead Cells boss rush at the moment and so far it just doesn't even seem possible.... one moment was straight up bullshit, where I absolutely pressed the heal button and the character animation just paused like the game decided "nah you didn't heal....because I said so." and that was that. It always pulls some bullshit and this is quite a bit more frustrating than the normal game so far. aha, I beat this last run though....but I had to turn it all the way down to 2-cells though.
