  1. I vaguely remember this game ...though I didn't get into much of the board games as a kid; wayyy back when I was little I remember playing Chutes & Ladders a few times.... and as odd as this sounds; we had a home version of Wheel of Fortune as well. I never got into the super popular ones either like Monopoly, Life, etc....but this one looked cool since it sets the players up on an Indiana Jones kind of adventure scenario.
  2. Dead Cells----Another update?! They just keep on adding with this game and I love it ha, right when I was about to dig into Vampyr again; I have more things to do in that and Diablo 3 as usual
  3. sheeeit, though I grew up with that cartoony Hogan/Macho Man era of wrestling, the Attitude era was the real golden age....the entertainment value was in peak form in those days, with the ongoing feud of Austin vs. McMahon and the "Corporation", the rise of The Rock from some Nation of Domination dude to a major superstar on his own (he was best at being a bad guy, imo), Degeneration X, Mankind, the Godfather, and the shows being loaded with high quality TnA as well from Stacey Keibler, Trish, Torrie Wilson, Victoria... over in WCW there was the Nitro Girls, and ECW had a stellar lineup of fine ass girls as well; my #1 honey over there was Dawn Marie.... in that whole industry, Dawn Marie, Trish and Stacey were that holy trinity for me; the finest of all time by a longshot. Yep I had some of the DVDs (like Divas Undressed) as well. I had the music CDs with the most popular entrance themes as well; at least 2 WWE albums and 1 of the ECW cds....heh, I most likely still have them. The main ECW theme is part of my regular exercise/workout playlist; a good track to get hyped on the way to the gym:
  4. ha, that Fresh & Fit show used that "female delusion calculator" as a regular bit; I'm not sure if they still use it anymore though. The girls from the "Simpcast" podcast did it one time as well to hilarious results of course. I remember there's also a version of it for men as well. Yep, here it is: https://realitycalc.com/ ----this one must be different; I remember one from months ago that had a few more questions/parameters. Naturally this is a bit more interesting if there's more questions to narrow things down. Taking this one I just noticed 18.7%.....so about 8.6 million in the U.S. meet the qualifications I just put in there. *edited---I went back to make sure and exclude mothers; previous results said "any amount of children" and hell nah to that.
  5. Well, nice way for them to immediately kill any hype I would've had about a new playstation portable system... a constant internet connection required for a system... a portable system. Get all the way up out of here with that foolishness, Sony. They'd have to be the ones paying me to waste even 1 second of my time on such horseshit. *at least this will be entertaining as the next great gaming dumpster fire situation for everyone to laugh at.
  6. yeah, Jungle Love is another classic... there isn't a lot going on on; it's quite a simple song but I always loved it....I first heard it in a movie back then that I forgot. Another supernatural creature I always thought would be a cool choice of what to be--- the skinwalker. I was reminded of this recently by watching that show Skinwalker Ranch. Imagine if the shapeshifting power extended to mythic creatures, like a griffin, a kraken or a dragon....or big kaiju like King Ghidorah; that would be too damn cool. eh, it's a shame more people don't think about stuff like this.
  7. sheeeeittt, this song is forever one of the best things Prince ever did... I can't ever get enough of hearing it
  8. that looks cool but what was up with that one chubby Spiderwoman---- is she pregnant while being a superhero?! (or just fat?) Then again I'm also just remembering there was/is apparently a Spider-woman in the comics at the moment who's handicapped which is arguably even more of a ridiculous concept 🤣 ...but yeah I'm definitely looking forward to that. The previous movie far surpassed my expectations.
  9. Oh yeah, it's going to be funny when they inevitably do a remake of the Aladdin remake that had Will Smith as the djinn/genie. It's about to be exactly 4 years old very soon. This seems to be what they're all about now... remake everything, with the occasional race-swap (but only a particular kind; so Moana and Maui are "safe", obviously...just like the Princess and the Frog characters if they ever remake that in live action; actually that one's from 2009-- a bit overdue on that one) for good measure. ...like they're taking cues from the current state of the gaming industry with all the remakes and "re-masters"
  10. I suppose this is where a generational divide happens for me at least... I have never had even the slightest interest in Tik Tok and I'm 100% sure I never will. I've only seen them when someone posts them here or on some other social media site. Short-form videos in general just aren't my thing; I hate that Youtube "Shorts" have become so damn popular on the site now...almost all creators are using those now because of course it gets easy views and can give you a serious increase to the subs/view count on your channel.
  11. He is trying to ascend the power-levels... Form Alpha is but 1 of the many steps on the young lad's journey to Ultra Instinct. He still requires much more training before the gods will even consider tutelage, obviously.
  12. Hell yeah this actually looks alright, and yeah I'd sell my soul to get the Blue Beetle suit in real life.
  13. sheeeeitttt, I can't really accept mac & cheese unless it's made the proper home-style way.... I think it's mostly people from the Southern part of the U.S. that would know what I'm talking about....that good ol' fashioned Heart-Attack caliber food that older generation southern moms, auntees and grandmas have a mastery in. *I did make it for myself on 2 occasions... it was decent but still not quite on the same level as when my aunt made it back in the day.
  14. Another nice little detail they added in Dead Cells in a recent update---I just noticed it on some videos/streams from others; a change to graphics to make them a bit more cartoonish in appearance----this was added in the "Accessibility" update apparently; I didn't even know it was there until now. It's a simple option to turn on "outlines" on the character and/or the enemies and/or projectiles/attacks! That shit looks cool; I probably won't be going back to the default visuals. *ok that dashing ability is such a cool fit for "style" points when wearing the Alucard outfit. Of course there's other things I prefer in terms of effectiveness but it just looks too damn cool. I'm currently on a "Brutality" build/run.... with Pyrotech and that dagger that gets bonus damage if you recently collected gold.
  15. I'm already looking forward to how good that Super Mario movie will look when it's on a 4k disc. I'm sure the folks at Nintendo already realize they have a big win with this one... I won't be surprised if it hits a billion at the box office. At least 3 generations of people have grown up with the Super Mario universe of characters at this point.
  16. Dead Cells---oh yeah I got my other outfits now---Sypha, Alucard and Trevor's outfits unlocked. I also stumbled onto the "Richter Mode" today; I forgot that was even in there now. That was an easier run on 3C this time just so I could get stuff done and unlocked. Of course I beat the hell out of Medusa this time around....20-something points in Tactics again with the turrets and an explosive crossbow; Flawless Victory. Of course I have the Alucard outfit on immediately....that is the new required uniform for my future adventures.
  17. I found another dose of that sweet World of Darkness lore... the end times referred to as "Gehenna"... Apollo here goes over the good stuff here...
  18. Another scientific "what if..?" that has been fascinating to me lately... https://www.nbcnews.com/mach/science/did-another-advanced-species-exist-earth-humans-ncna869856 Imagine if there was another species, hominid or otherwise that was about as intelligent or more than the hominid "family" that would show up much later... what if they had their time, developed cities, governments, culture, etc.... then went extinct for whatever reason, perhaps millions of years ago. Time and nature itself (regrowth of plants and vegetation, rising sea levels that permanently submerge things, etc.) would eventually erase just about all major traces of civilization, at least one of our level.... ...but even more wild and out there---what if they got to a level of tech that allowed them to leave this planet, maybe out of necessity or just curiosity and exploration. ...the big Twilight Zone plot twist here----what if the "aliens" that occasionally drop by to visit and observe... they aren't aliens at all; turns out they are formerly native to this planet, and they are just coming back to check out what's been going on here on their former home world. That seems like more of a longshot though---it's probably more likely of an ancient civilization that was here and had their time, then a mass extinction event happened....and enough time passed that eventually erased just about all they built. This also gets me to wonder just how much time would need to pass for all traces of human civilization to be erased by time and weather/nature... perhaps a few thousand years for most structures to be barely recognizable or gone, I suppose.
  19. ^haha imagine how the fans of that Marvel game who paid for that stuff must feel now... especially if they bought some of the items recently. It's funny how fast the drop in interest for that one happened, at least to me... in the beginning, I was looking forward to that.... but then every new piece of info and footage I saw just made it look worse and worse, killing my interest in it completely....and then we'd all see the severe contrast in quality between that one and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Just the issue of the roster----it was laughable even comparing them. MUA3 lets us play around as various X-men, Avengers and several other popular Marvel characters, complete with special bonuses according to certain team-ups. The other game's roster was a complete joke in comparison. Well now--- I just noticed Battle Axe on eShop for Switch is 7.50.
  20. Oh yeah that's another thing---I would have liked if there was more areas... I still haven't fought Dracula yet; I got to Medusa for the first time a few days ago and she did ridiculous damage and killed me right away (this was 4C difficulty). I recently unlocked the bible, holy water and cross weapons. I still need to get the other outfits unlocked as well.... currently my usual ones are the Death costume or that one that's a skeleton with a purple cape (reference to the main character from "Skul the Hero Slayer"; that's also a fun game, btw; another roguelite type of thing.....I haven't played it in a while though.)
  21. I'm not really a super-hardcore Castlevania fan (aside from the first three NES games, I've only played Symphony of the Night when it was re-released years ago, and then the much later Lords of Shadow 2 on PS3/360)... but that DLC added quite a bit of cool stuff for Dead Cells --- new areas, enemies and bosses (oh yeah, including Dracula himself! There is also a new ending if you go this route and defeat Dracula), quite a few weapons, character outfits and the music. The areas are like alternate routes in the game; one leading from the starting area, actually... though if you take that then you can't go to the other one that's an option later for some reason...at least inside the same run/session. There's also a few Castlevania characters you meet as well! *I also posted this in the Nintendo thread yesterday but I've been getting back into this Squad 51 vs. the Flying Saucers lately; that old sci-fi aesthetic is amazingly cool: I love the soundtrack on this game too:
  22. Squad 51 vs. the Flying Saucers is one I've had fun with lately; I love this "1950s Sci-fi" aesthetic it has going on:
  23. Dead Cells run---I played 5C just now...it's quite a thrilling adventure in there....eventually got killed in Slumbering Sanctuary though. On another random note--- Blood Hunt finally got a new clan/character class I see.... Tremere (they are basically the "blood mages/warlocks" clan in the lore.) I still wish this game wasn't just a pure multiplayer battle royale (+team deathmatch they added later) thing though.
