One tricky part i'm thinking is that Capcom seems not much on the idea to do a 6-char season, so as much i hate it if we get a 6-char S2 we have to pray marketable enough to sell A LOT if we want S3 to be 6-char too

 

I say i hate it as best/most variety improvement seasons i can imagine surely would sacrify some marketing potential to pick also unpopular characters that average audience dislike (or not love) but would enrich the cast

 

Trying to imagine a S2 that i would like but also imagine would do good money

This would be cool list imho, covering 3 chars in the top10 popularity list still not in (Makoto#2, Cody#5 and Sagat #7) plus Menat that back to the poll days was'nt even a thing but is popular, yet  at same time are basically ALL chars i would really love see in SF6

Hugo was my unpopular pick (we need a giant in SF6) lol, but others would carry him well imho

Had to sacrify (just delay on reality) Elena and Dudley that i like more than some there, but i would surely add them in my ideal S3 lol

 

Problem is does'nt leave room for 1 (or 2?) new characters

I'm not sure about Gen successor though... would have LOVED see their male concept to evolve into SF6 as some sort of capcom Gato, but i fear that got eat by Jamie and i'm not much interested into get this

Sodom is one would be fun re-imagined as stance character imho

One stance you have him using jitte

Other stance you have him use katanas or bokken/shinai if blade is "problematic"

 

One i don't want is Zeku... i like the dude, but fear would further cripple chances of get 6 char season lol

 

Doubt will become playable (and for bunch of reasons i hope not), but Dobermann by concept/canon pov is absolutely a stance character lol

Beside Stance char, i would really want see the "Giant char" return

Be it Hugo or somebody new

I like the idea of Zangief being the muscle wrestling dude, but also have in the cast somebody that dwarf him, somebody that make of his own giant frame/mass/height their main tool to fight...

Yeah as FP kinda weak (including arcade game pick), "Akuma is coming" next one will for sure bring more useful traditional fighter pieces

 

Would say with the exception of Final Fight FP wich has been the best, so far the "XXXX is coming" FPs have been the easily the most intersting

 

Some MH weapns in the shop are useful and relatively low price though, bought for 1000DT a blade for my D.Dark 😁

I'll be honest, I don't really care about the avatar stuff.  Because my avatar is pretty much exactly what I want them to be at this point, and I have no personal interest in making a bunch of different avatars.

 

I have my Rude clone with a boxiing style, and that's all I need.

 

I might switch out Specials/Supers depending on what we get, and I'd switch to Dudley's normals in a hearbeat.  But other than that, I'm done.

Hello guys! I live far away from North America but love Udon SF and DS comics. I have been collecting them digitally, but since two years they have stopped to offer them digitally. And I really hate having them on glossy and smelling paper 😉

To ship them to my country, due to the distance, taxes and customs, increases the price 5 times. Therefore I'm searching for someone living in USA.

My offer is that I will buy  and ship the comics from last two years to you. You will scan them (no foto) and email to me. Then keep the paper comics for yourself.

I think there's a majority who's even hating avatar stuff, and tbh i blame it mostly on Capcom in many ways but specially for creating the false perception character creation is getting all the goods, while on reality their way to handle is absolutely shit poor too, just not as poor as how they're shameless ignoring main cast dlc stuff (wich bother me too as does to anybody else)

 

Wich is a shame as the ability to "create SF characters" for me that i'm both SF fan and design guy is a dream, too bad capcom's mediocrity and greed is making it maybe 50% at best of what could have been

 

Personally i'm still LOVING it because allow me to see/use ingame characters that otherwise Capcom will not add (or maybe some will but years from today), be them former SFers or even muh SFEX crew, or rejected SF concepts etc

 

Basically will try to use it as i did with SC6 character creation, there i got close to SC version of your "everybody is here!" utopia 😄

Too bad as i said before SF6 went half ass with character creation too, so while i enjoy my stuff we can't use them as characters as was for SC, but it's indeed mostly threated by capcom as silly "avatar stuff" as you say

 

I find it kinda sad and wasted opportunity, because if i think at CC of SF6 the one that come to my mind is highly detailed stuff in my copy of the game, while community perception of it is

Some bullets dodged, some missed opportunities

 

- AKI had some designs better than one we end up, i really like the very FANGesque 4th but even more the red 5th

 

- Rashid end up more or less same level

 

- Ed ultimately got much better designs ingame, i take both the Standard and Alt ones over anything i see there

 

- Akuma ones are terrible, but i like the 4th as artwork

That 5th A.K.I. design with the red hair is perfection. I wish we would have gotten that one. Some of the other ones are good but they don't have "iconic" look to me. They seem to derivative or similar to designs for other characters. The 10th one is cool but it makes me immediately think of classic Ashrah from the 3D era MK games. Don't really have much to say about Rashid's nothing really stands out. Ed's, I just don't have anything good to say about them. Akuma's, sans design 4, look like joke memes.

Give her the same color scheme as her current default look and keep her albino just with that design aesthetic.

Tbh i'm ok with AKI final look too

I just pointed out she's a very rare case where imho there was better options in dropped sketches, as usually i agree with capcom pick on best route for final ingame design

 

Only others i can think are Guile (imho his standard SF6 design is weak, imho they was getting better ideas through concept phase)

I'm not sure i'm sold on Akuma's change from original concept to final

overall new color scheme contrast better and definitely works better, yet feel lost bit of identity (sure, we could link it to classic "Shin Akuma" look though)

For sure i prefer smaller beard of first one, affect the classic look less and let eye focus more on hair, in second one the santa beard take lot of spotlight

 

Must admit it help A LOT show visually he took seriously hermit shit, second design achieve sell perfectly how far from society/civilization he gone (will be fun see him text with smartphone lol)

 

I liked more also original Lily, but i know i'm on huge minority here too

* there has been also a mod on nostalgia one too, beard there looks barely visible yet modded version without it does wonders make it waaay cooler/closer to Ryu's classic artworks look

I'm of the opinion that, if they come together, everyone will be happy!  As I saw a designer (who unfortunately disappeared from Twitter) I like doing, putting RyuxKen and RyuxChun-Li together! 😌

However, to be honest, as much as I know about Ryu's friendship with Chun-Li, it's hard not to think of anything else with what Capcom has done. Sakura was left out. 🤷‍♀️
