Fighting EX Layer

So apparently Sanane is nu-Nanase after her memories were wiped clean by Hokuto. Hayate also returns.

 

Unfortunately my bae Pullum has been relegated to a possible DLC, if the game sells enough copies.

It's a real bummer -- character designs are neat and fighting looks ok, but that power-up system is keeping me away.

I've heard the game is a bit janky, which is unfortunate. Still love the characters

If its anything like the beta the game is mad janky. It feels like an indie fighter, if that makes sense. The upside seems to be that if you were a big fan of the SF EX games its pretty faithful to how those played. Or so I'm told.

 

I disliked the SF EX games and did not like the demo so I'm tapping out of this one. However I like the character designs and I hope the game sells well enough that they can support it past launch. Give people some more of the chars they want over time.

I don't like the power up system AND they dun me wrong by turning Blair into an average pretty girl. I really liked the idea of a real buff girl like she used to be, now she's got skinny arms and normal shoulders.

I may give this a shot but I never liked the EX series. Graphically the game looks solid but the animations seem straight out of EX3.

I really like the way the art looks in this game in general but I'm with Darc in that I was never a fan of the SF EX games so this one isn't gonna be for me. Glad its coming out for fans of that and Fighting Layer.
