I think it's ridiculous that they had to change there name from Gods & Monsters to Immortals Fenyx Rising because of Monster Energy Drinks. They didn't even the word. Moreover no one was confusing the two. Nobody was going to 7-Eleven for Monster Energy Drink and accidentally getting Gods & Monsters. This isn't an Xbox naming situation.

Been giving this a lot of thought recently and concluded that for the type of story I want to convey I need to learn how to set a scene in a way that will more easily be adapted to animation.   I think in order to do that it might be a good idea to learn about cinematography and directing as a whole.   Anyone have any good sites for information for beginners in regards to that?

My mom really wants a copy of my book for some reason. The genre isn't even in her wheelhouse but I digress. I've gotten off my ass to work on the second editing pass. Having months in between my proofreads has been fruitful. I have three chapters (24,25, & 26) and the epilogue left but damn man. I feel like I didn't catch anything the first time through. Since I can't sleep and don't want to edit at this hour. I fiddled with my cover and made it look less bootleg this time around. The shade of blue is actually consistent now. Plus it looks a bit cleaner. I'll probably go with a red on black look for the next books cover...which probably won't be done until 2022.....or 2023.
 
Side Note: As I've said before, that name is a pseudonym. Given recent events, I'm glad I went that route.

There has been a sudden influx of people to the site.  As such I'm probably going to up the server specs to better handle load.  Please notify me of any site crashes/performance problems you encounter.
 
Software update coming along nicely.  Building a brand new version of the the site's theme that will work properly with the new software update.  Expect it to be pushed out some time this week.
 
Currently investigating allowing user uploaded images and setting up a calendar module.  Also had requests to allow custom badges for tournament winners.  I'll let you know when/if these features get implemented.

This site runs really nice unlike trash ass facebook and youtube now......holy fuck are they terrible.   If you use firefox they have plugins that let you use the old facebook.   The new one makes it a pain to upload anime on. 

@Angel Inuyasha always was uncomfortable if you sat back and thought about it. Kagome is a freshman in High School. Inuyasha is hundreds of years old....

I can't speak for past stuff, but I do know that for as long as you have been a mod here you've done a great job.  I see no reason for you to step down.
 
If people don't want to come here that's their choice.  I'm not looking to cajole or convince people to come.  I've got enough on my plate as it is and don't have the time or energy to beg people to do what they don't want to do.  The site will be here if/when they decide they want to use it.
 
I just need this place to look good, work well, and be free of any weird racist/shady stuff.  If people don't like how things are run here that's totally fine -- but as it is I think we've done a good job so far. 👍
 
In other news I'm still planning to upgrade the site to a new software version, but haven't had the time yet.  I'll probably have to rebuild the themes to match the new version so it's gonna be a little bit.

If they're that afraid of a mod then they probably have a reason.  I've been here from near the start and I don't see any problem with you.  Just sayin.
