The mate/lead man told him it was trash and he liked nothin about it, I thought we was all bout to get written up for that comment😂

That's spaghetti??? Looks like a failed attempt at gumbo

Edit: Just saw your post about him not draining the grease from the beef. That explains it. Cooking ain't that hard. You just gotta give enough fucks to take your time and do it right.

was thinkin, whats the coolest thing a video game protagonist youve played as, has ever said or done from your experiences while playing?

    i have three.

    1) fury from darksiders 3 would say this while killing a demon "life isnt for you." but she says it in a sassy head mistress of a school british accent sorta way.

2)metal unit-playable character says "pew pew" when she unloads her machine gun on enemies

3)cal from jedi fallen order once spun his lightsaber after battling and when he put the saber away he spun it like clint eastwood spins his handgun before holstering it.

Zero from Borderlands 2. Just about anything he says after a kill. He trash talks in Haiku. Most stand out is one of his quotes after killing a badass enemy

"You were imposing/ So powerful, what happened?/ That's right, I killed you"

Link in Twilight Princess. Sheathing his sword after killing an enemy on the draw with his sword.

There's more. They'll come to mind

A USA woman going alone to a Muslim centric area is a foolish errand.

Even Dubai with its "Wealthy/party" vibe isnt exempt.

People don't know how good they have it here in MURRICA especially women.

Out here in Qatar. I've seen American women here on base go out into Doha. And met some U.K women. They've been just fine and enjoyed their time here.

The thing that is make or break for most western women in general in the middle east. Is conflict resolution and compliance. Especially when dealing with a man.

If a woman's first instinct is to rebel when instructed to do something like cover up at a government building or historical sight by a local. Or during a dispute get aggressive, get in a man's face. And try to shout, curse and assert dominance? That's sh1t is gonna go left for her.

I can only speak on Qatar. Qatar is a very nice country. Where you are safe to walk the streets anytime of day or night. And it is more lenient than some other Islamic countries. But it is a patriarchal society. In which the man has the final say and is to not be disrespected without consequences.

  4. Ok. So yesterday. I got into two risky trades. HDCI and FNGR. I started with a $1000 in each. FNGR at 5.88 HDCI at 2.90. Bought had a sharp dip. Bought the dips to where I averaged down to 5.66 and 2.76 at 3k for each.

I was patient and they ended up rallying all the way to a 12% gain on both. However I see I have a problem I have to fix. I abandon my risk management. And continue to hold. Thinking it'll go higher. Instead of just cashing out when the chart says to.

I held through yesterday. Only to experience a sell off today. Where I sold at break even on HDCI and a 5% gain on FNGR. Lesson learned and that I need to take to heart?

Not every run has to be massive. A massive run is very rare. 10% 5 or even 2% gain. Made consistently adds up over time. It'd a marathon not a sprint.

  5. Update on my stock trading/investing Journey. I went long on JOBY stock. A leader in the Electric vertical take off and landing (EVTOL) Aircraft race. Bought in at 5.25 and averaged up to 6.51 with 400 shares.

Currently trading at 10.30 to 10.40 range. Up over 50%. I also bought into DFLI 6 weeks ago. Put in $1000 but it dipped hard. But didn't panick. I just waited until I saw what was believed to be the bottom. Then bought the dip until I averaged down to 1.60. Every week. Then my patients paid off.

News dropped that gave it a nice run to 1.86. But I sold at 1.75 for a 10% gain on $8500. So now my account is 2k in the green. Well technically I'm still 8k in the red. This is recovering from the first 10k account I blew up. So I'm not in the green until I recover that. So 8k to go.

My current trade. Is HOLO. A company focused on R&D and applications of holographic tech. I got burned bad on this in my original 10k portfolio. Bought in at 2.06 it crashed to 1.31. But has now recovered over a 100% from there. It had a pull back so I bought $1000 worth of shares at 3.17 in pre market this morning. Currently up 7%.

Where im at with it is: if you can't even listen to and respect your partner in the dating stages, there's no way in hell you're making it to marriage.

You've already shown them that you don't value them and they can't tell you shit, thus you are NOT suited for that promotion

Marriage is hard, love isnt enough by itself, it also takes work. You expect someone to spend the rest of their life with you but you treat them like nothing? Good luck wit that

Agreed. Except in this case due to the individual. Dude is made his wife was out there with her cheeks hanging out. But he uploaded vids of his woman showing her azz.

So he look like a clown talking about "This is my family and representation" I'm a traditional man" and blah blah. Like he encouraged this. It's only a problem. Because she's all giddy and glowing because of another man. He probably never seen that side of her.

No they don't. You're absolutely wrong. There are no hard rules that say fiction has to make sense and plenty of fiction bends, warps, twists nd disregards any rules set as they see fit. It's fiction nothing can stop you from doing anything and none of it actually has to make sense if you don't want it to.

If one wants their work taken seriously enough. To make a living off of it? Yeah even fiction has to be grounded enough to make sense of it. No one's gonna become a die hard fan of and pay for Uncle Grandpa level of story telling and world building.

I've been around some of the most cutthroat hood niggas ever and they never call me a white boy.

Meanwhile, black women love saying that shit. I feel like they be hatin on me cuz their babydaddies can't read without putting their finger under the words 😂

I've been hit with that too. I've learned sistas are quick to throw the "White boy" label. At a brotha who they deem out of the norm. Like you got good credit. A job that isn't the norm, your personality isn't loud and in your face like other hood brothas etc.

Basically you display qualities that make them feel. You wouldn't give a hood sista a chance.

"Girl who's that brotha ova there?"

"Girl don't even bother. He a white boy. You can tell he's into Becky and Ling Ling. He don't want us"

Really not down to being manipulated by anyone.  That's not a relationship I want any parts of especially if it's being done on a consistent basis.

    200.gif

Well it's not in a malicious way. An example would be. If she wanted you to fix something around the house. But you still haven't gotten to it. Instead of getting on yo azz about it. She'd say something and or behave in a way that'd motivate you to do it.

They don't care that she's a grifter, as long as it's a woman saying things they agree with.

She's basically running game women use to run on men since the beginning of recorded history. She only stands out because it seems here in the U.S. Majority of women forgot how to be the neck that turns the head.

A woman that is agreeable and supportive. Yet knows how to stroke a man's ego and make what she wants sound like his idea? Will have that man's favor, and run sh1t from the shadows.

  11. So a man gets into heated argument with GF. Demanding for her and her child to leave. She refuses continuing to argue. He calls police. Draws a gun and threatens to kill her. She calls his bluff. And he goes full family murder suicide.

He's wrong and evil for this. No debate. But a valid point is brought up. Why so many women. Are so willing to stand ten toes down in a dangerous situation against a man. When walking away safely is an option???

Reminds me of the Tywin Lanister quote "Who's the bigger fool? The mad man? Or those who try to reason with him? Women be thinking a man is still gonna have restraint while she talks to him any kind of way while he's enraged and/or out of his mind. Forget proving you're right. GTFO and survive! ESPECIALLY with a kid involved

I helped my sister get an apartment by signing for it, she lost her job about 2 months after (which im not mad about cuz it happens).

The problem is, she nevrr told me she was behind so I get a call from the leasing office on the 15th (rent was due of the 5th) saying I owe X amount of dollars or they're sending it to the attorney's office and I will have to pay all ensuing legal fees. So I had to drop $1300 just to buy time.

On top of that, my rent and expenses were also due, so my funds down to about $2500 or so, which I havent been that low in YEARS. Now I gotta drop $1200 by tommorow ish, so I had to dig in my 401k.

Im pissed cuz my sis doesn't seem to grasp how serious this situation is, shr doesnt think I should be pissef at her like I am, but my credit and/or funds bout to be FUCKED if she doesnt find work fast and maintain it.

Like, Im almost deadass considering cutting her off completely once this ordeal is over next year. Like I started 2023 with about 12k saved up now ill have only about 1k by weeks end if im lucky due to unforseen circumstances

You a better man than me. I opened my home to one of my sistas. Let her live rent free for most of her 2 year stay no problem. Because it's one thing to open your home to family. ITS ANOTHER to co-sign on an apartment for them.

I could neva. If you're not in a position to get and/or maintain your own? You gotta swallow your pride and ask to move in. But I ain't co-signing a damn thing. I got burned by my sis once on signing for a cell phone plan she said she'd pay.  Not putting my credit and finances on the line for them again.

Sucks to hear you had to touch your retirement money. And she ain't about to pay any of that back. Just expects you to take the hit because she thinks you're Ballin. I'd still keep a relationship with her. But ya should never have any conversations about money. Unless it's about paying you back.

Well yea, your darker colored so the burn is less likely to happen. Our skin literally refracts light underneath the sub surface, and if your darker skinned your going to refract it less. Its part of why lighter skinned people kinda "glow" and still can be seen in really low light situations, it just bounces right the fuck off us lol. Light skinned people get sun far worse, and it becomes worse the lighter you get.

I think people misunderstand the purpose of Sun Screen tho, its not to prevent Sunburns. That's a happy side effect of wearing it. Its to prevent skin cancer. Its a UV blocking protective layer, and its the UV Radiation Waves that give you skin cancer. A good Sunblock protects you from UV, not from burning. That's just a lucky side effect.

Grew up in a desert, have an intimate relationship with the sun, it's cool, but like that friend from college hanging out with him too long can cause problems in your life.

Speaking of deserts. U.S deserts are awesome. So many cool rock formations and plant life. Living in Tucson and seeing those mountains on the horizon was always nice. Deserts out here in Qatar are depressing. There's nothing. Just flat rubble and dirt as far as the eye can see. I was told in Saudi Arabia. Is where you can see the golden sand dunes you see in movies.

I think I told this story before, but I thought my white friends were making stuff up when they said they had sunburn. I've never had sunburn a day in my life. Then I poked one of them on the shoulder and he shrieked. So that's how I found out sunburn was real. I was like 8 years old at the time. We can get sunburn but it's really really difficult. My dad got sunburn once and we didn't know what was going on because we couldn't fathom the possibility. As for how he managed it, my dad had a have spotless car. So he was out side, in July on a 97°, cloudless day washing and waxing his car at noon. The Camaro was shining like new money though. Still don't know how he managed it. I'd be outside sun up to sun down playing with my friends as a kid, only thing that happened was I'd get darker.

Same here. Never experienced sunburn. Never wore sunscreen. No matter how long I stayed out in the sun. But I guess black or just melanated people in general have a resistance to the suns rays. But there's a limit
