Been grinding WT Mode to see Cammy’s ass in a G string (joking, not really), and decided to try out avatar battle for the drive tickets rewards today… I didn’t realize your stats from WT Mode carried over (like health, drive gauge amounts, abilities, etc).
 
I understand the special moves and stuff carrying over, but I feel like these avatar battles should be even in terms of stats.
 
like yeah, I can see some people really grinding WTM and would want their hard work to pay off, but who doesn’t love a fair fight?

Welp, I read the online manual and here's what it says:
 
"Music
Listen to music you have acquired. These are primarily obtained as Fighting Pass rewards, though some can be acquired by making progress in World Tour mode as well."
 
I guess it's like those mobile game rewards where you have regular rewards and premium ones when you pay for whatever's extra. Capcom about to take all the money lol.

Random trivia.
 
4 prejump frames.
3 postjump frames, empty jump = block/tech.
Strikes beat throws on same frame!
23f average back dash, 15f throw invincible, totally grounded.
Throws 5f startup, 3f active. 30f whiff.
PC throw prevents back rise.
On wakeup, there is one frame that's unthrowable.
On wakeup, there is one frame that's standing-sized even while crouch blocking.
 2f unthrowable after exiting hitstun / blockstun.
Counterhit grants +2
Punish counter (whiff punish) grants +4
4f input buffer = reliable links.
 
If a combo starts with a special-cancelable low MK there's extra damage scaling.
 
Perfect parry scales harshly. Drive Rush scales but only once if used many times in the same combo. No scaling when starting with Rush. You haven't hit them yet.

Idk how I didn’t notice this, but it seems you can back rise normal throws now. They only lock you in place on punish counter now.

How you unlock jukebox mode and the tracks? Not a big fan of the music in this besides a few standouts

Around the Masters Foundation, there are a tonne of low level NPCs carrying bronze nuggets, if you inspect them you can see those. Gotta beat them in under 9 seconds to get the nugget, but that's the fastest way I've found

Glad to see Ken players haven’t changed  won 5 in a row he finally gets one and immediately dips lol.

But I'll get there. I'm just not really comfortable playing right now.  This happens with every SF.

My daughter asked me how old Lily. She wants to know if Lily is a teenager. She's at the age where I guess teens are the coolest people on the planet.

I had a rough start in ranked. Won 7/10 of my placement matches, but ended up in Platinum. That's what I get for going raw in ranked with no labbing.
 
Eventually made my way up to Diamond. Feeling more and more comfortable. Just gotta get better at knowing what combos work in certain situations.

I am very close to doing this with Cammy.
 
I was pretty sure I was either going to play Cammy or Ken (and then maybe a few others) until I realized Cammy’s F+HK is basically Sweet Chin Music and that sealed the deal, lol.
 
That’s a lot of drive tickets though! I may just grind to get her classic costume this weekend and wait until the first battle pass (which I think starts on the 9th) and see what’s that about

You get drive tickets with the deluxe/ultimate versions. Buying the ultimate version gave 7700 drive tickets out the door (the deluxe version was less but I don’t recall how much)…

Felt good enough to play World Tour for the last few hours. I'm gonna have to mess around training to try a find a character for online play.
