Yeah, I think something may be fucked with my laptop’s HDMI port, or my GPU is just trash or something. I can’t get it to run well on the new monitor, but it runs fine on the laptop itself, and I know it’s not an issue with the monitor because it runs amazingly with my PS5, and I noticed an upgrade in fidelity and input response when I switched to it from my TV.
 
Oh well, it’s fine, I’m still up for playing on my PC. Having the ethernet hardwired in my current “gaming spot” is a huge factor in this so I’m good.
 
played BBCF with Cipher and it was fun. I’m complete ass, but I’ll keep it up. Need a break from it today though, I feel like I learned too much and my brain is overloaded, (yet I barely learned a thing lol). I was amazed that the netcode seemed fine though. I don’t know what the delay was, but it wasn’t noticeable to me, which is kinda nuts.

Oh, I didn’t try setting the resolution of the monitor to the same as it was in game. I’ll have to try that later. Thanks.

At this point, I think that ResetEra just hate Japanese games and their designs. Like what was the point of bringing up her costumes from SF4 if none of them are in this game. You don’t see them bringing up the fact Mileena’s Flesh Pits costume when praising the designs for MK11. I just find it really stupid.

It seems the issue was when I was trying to stretch it out my bigger monitor. It runs fine on my laptop screen, but as soon as I put it on the big screen it stutters like crazy, even when I have the resolution set low... not sure what’s going on.. but it definitely wasn’t 60 FPS on that screen, but I think the delay wasn’t related to the game or something to steam didn’t pick it up? Idk

I mean obviously. It's just unrealistic that the magician Italian MILF would walk into a fight and throw her magic balls and tarot cards with heels on.
Come on man, we need some realism in my martial art game with fireballs and robot chicks with a cavernous man's voice.

how the F do you make a Steam game go full screen on an extended monitor and not the main laptop monitor?
 
I’ve tried putting the window into the extended display before maximizing it, or setting the extended display at my main display, as well as looked at any option but can’t find a way to do this and it’s driving me mad.
 
edit: figured it out but instead of just scaling the low res image to fit the larger screen (which I understand would look worse), I have to select the appropriate resolution, and BBCF becomes so slow it’s unplayable at this setting.

Btw, I fought some dude named "TwinBlades" yesterday. He was using Juri. I was kinda excited because I thought I got paired with the homie again. The Juri part threw me off, but I thought maybe he was learning her.
 
Only to realize it was someone on the East Coast and not our TWINBLADES. Sad.

I’m going to open my day up a bit more. I still likely won’t be able to play for another 5-6 hours from now, but hopefully we can get some games in.

I’m glad i ran that cable yesterday and we played last night. I honestly had a blast guys. I played a  casual set afterwards and had a great time with it too.
 
i’ll put Doom Eternal on the back burner for now (i was kinda in a weird spot with it anyway)... I’ll keep playing FGs for now, because i’m going to hit Strive hard and want to be in decent form for it.
