Any form of productive use of it is gone. Now all of it replaced with trolling and arguing. Gonna delete that app. 
 
Every single issue that people claimed happened in SRK is exponentially worse on twitter while overall being less funny. On the other hand, when I said that twitter let you hand pick your echo chamber. 
 
The weird thing about Twitter is that you start things by making a weird declarative statement. Then if somebody points out a flaw in it, people just get defensive.  It's absolutely terrible for conversations and half the time it's a weird billboard/diary.
 
Forums are still better because they are slower. Honestly the speed of things is not a feature for communication anymore. Outside of a few small things, having to bother with paragraphs makes forums way better. 
 
I know you can tailor your twitter experience to be ultimately positive. But Jesus fuck that thing is a hellscape.

Yeah I haven’t even bothered signing up, and I haven’t played the [REDACTED] in several weeks. I have zero interest in the characters in the beta and I’ve played enough to know I like the game already. At this point I only care about finding a main and learning the release date.

@HawkingbirdNot trying to be an ass, but I have no idea who that is. Unfortunately, I don't have enough money to sub to everyone I'd like to. That said I'm usually subbed to 3 or 4 FGC streamers.  My main issue is that I don't have energy I used to. I've always been the dude that goes to bed at 2am and gets up 6 or 7 without issue. It's not that easy anymore. So I just can't watch as many streams as I used to while still having time to do other shit. I never thought I'd miss those days where I just flat out didn't go to sleep. Hurts my creativity too. I'm seem to come up with my best stuff when I haven't slept. Didn't realize how much I structured my life around my lack of sleep until I typed up this post.

Why does a Akuma need to be a wild beast though? He chose a dark path for his martial arts but the character has never come across as wild or undisciplined.
 
We already have Kage/Evil Ryu for the out of control dark hado angle. They already went down the “he lost control” route with Oni and it was whack.

Oni was a glimpse into his distant future. The transition we are witnessing from SF5 onwards is the path to Oni - symbolizing the gradual loss of his humanity until he becomes an fully demon/unhinged.
 
His master and his brother warned him about this, but he thinks he can resist. He thinks he knows better. In SF5 he could not resist killing a sick Gen again, but he did resist killing Ryu. Perhaps there is hope for him? Or perhaps he is just delaying the inevitable. Akuma's path only leads to destruction - his own.
