Just had one of the stupidest conversations in a while involving unlocks in a game. Where, upon me saying that tryign to unlock this basic ass thing the devs advertised, was tedious and unfun, I was told that it was a "skill issue".
 
So then I did the thing and told them one more time that doing this was tedious and unfun, also counterproductive. I swear, sometimes catering to your top 1% of players might be the dumbest shit you can do for a game.

Alright, took me 5 times to get my first clear. Game is a lot slower but its interesting. Definitely has its own flavor on some stuff.

Its funny, the game did not need a sequel but I'm still going to play the ever living shit out of it.
 
Edit: actually on second thought, I'm gonna do what i do with movies and just go in blind. With movies I've found that skipping trailers altogether makes watching them substantially funner. So in this case, I already know I wanna play it so best to dodge.

You have to realize that a ton of people on Fightcade weren't even born when 3rd Stirke came out in arcades.  Many have never played the real thing.  Many have never even been to an arcade before.  The Fightcade version is literally all they know.
