It's already super accessible tbh. You can buy a barebones board with hot-swap sockets for quite a low price already: https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/gmmk-full-brown-switch A board by itself without switches or caps will only run you 60 bucks or so. You can get your switches from them too, or opt to buy them on your own from somewhere else. Installing the switches is as simple as just plugging them in. You don't even need to solder anything these days. If you only care about looks you can also just buy a cheap mechanical keyboard on Amazon for like 40 bucks and buy key caps for it to customize its appearance.

I took to the time to lube my switches with some silicone lubricant. Keyboard is ULTRA smooth and quiet now. Really loving it. ❤️

Build Fighters has disappointed more and more with every successive season. Re-Rise gives me hope for the franchise -- it was way better than I thought it would be. Every season I usually watch the great shows first and then finish up by watching trash. I decided to do it in reverse this time.

Finished Build Divers Re-Rise, which was surprisingly quite good. Build Divers really really sucked, so Re-Rise was a pleasant surprise...it does have furries though. Also finished Maou Gakuin -- trash, as expected. Now re-watching Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei S1 so I can be underwhelmed by Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei S2. Story isn't any better than I remember but the animation quality is pretty good. That series had an animation budget and it shows.

I started watching anime again after a year-long hiatus. Slowly catching up with everything now. I'll let you know when I am caught up and we can bitch together.

Turn off any ad-blocking and/or privacy extensions and try again. (Adblock/uBlock/Ghostery/etc.) If you are using Chrome's built-in ad-blocker, turn that off. They may be blocking embedded post images because they are being loaded from an external source. Try it in Safari also just to be sure it's not system-related. I am reasonably sure that the issue is on your end, so let me know what you find.

All you have to do is copy/paste image URLs into the text editor. They will embed themselves automatically.

Which images aren't loading? Embedded images in posts? Theme background images? The site logo? What browser are you using? Please tell me what error message you are getting.

I don't normally weigh in on this type of thing, but I will say this: Youtube/Twitter/FB/Insta are private platforms, and the people who run those platforms are free to remove or allow whatever they want. People getting upset about 'censorship' on platforms they have no stake or ownership in always seems funny to me. Social media platforms are not a public service or a right. Too many people think that just because something is provided free of charge it is somehow something they are entitled to. There is no such thing as 'free speech' when the platforms themselves are privately owned. Free speech is about freedom of expression and the ability to voice one's opinions. It has nothing to do with whether or not a private company like Twitter wants your opinions bouncing around on their platform. Similarly, MEGASHOCK is a private site run by a single individual -- me. If any of you guys post something that I really really don't want, I will not hesitate to 'censor' the hell out of you, and it is 100% my right to do so. 🙂 As an individual you are entitled to your own thoughts and opinions -- but it doesn't mean the rest of the world has to let you spray paint those opinions on the sides of their houses.
