Translators that as for as I know didn’t work on the game are upset that a literal translation is a mockery and doesn’t show faith to whatever localization a translator does. Other than showing these translators do add whatever the hell they want in spite of the material, it gets dumber than that.
 
As you may know, other than using the same characters, Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka is tonally very different compared to River City Girls. SNK: Kunio is one of the darker entries in the franchise, having the main characters framed for a murder. 
RCG in comparison is very comedic and takes nothing serious. To the point a lot of people wondering how Wayforward would tie the darkest Kunio game to a game where you dab as an attack.
 
I’m going to assume this discourse is from people that do not know this story and and actually think it is a better translation compared to whatever they’re doing. Not once have I seen anyone on either side talk about how different SNK: Kunio is from RCG, only talking about the use of a Literal vs New translation. It is for the best that WF changed the terms to Original vs RCG but the fact it was a problem in the first place was stupid.

its weird how it is these days because i don't even know what an accurate translation of lunar would look like and at this point im not sure i would want to know. so i think some changes can make translations more memorable i get a chuckle out of that old fan made tales of phantasia ill admit.
 
as far as politics it really depends on the game if im playing a game about a man who fights even the smallest of injustices sure go ahead and get your shit in i guess.
 
however if im playing senran kagura vs ikkitousen battle of big tiddy destiny you need to get that shit outta my face!  who do you niggas think playing this shit!?

Amazing how they can just say that kind of stuff and expect more people to be at their side. Heard that Fates translation got the team dissolved for how bad it was. I can see it when they replace an actual conversation with a joke about how both the characters don’t talk much.

its prob just that video game effect of most women being absolute 10's. most ugly video game women are designed to be unattractive to match what is usually an ugly personality.
 
i haven't paid attention to the new game but before aloy just came off as  looking average. hell in the real world she would still rate pretty high at least from my perspective living in the rural south.

i really enjoyed xenoblade 2 but it is one of those games that keep throwing mechanics at you that you may or may not understand how to use when playing casually.
 
but if you could figure out how to use overdrive in xcx nothing in 2 should be hard to figure out. most monolith games boil down to attacking till you can pop some type of mechanic like burst in baten kaitos or chain attacks in the first xenoblade.

Sooooo...XBC 2 is good but it has some things about it mechanic wise that I don't like in comparison to the first XBC and XCX.  You can't move and attack at the same time and the combat feels a bit more stiff imo but apparently in the Torna DLC they made the combat better?  I haven't played it yet to give my own take on it.  I haven't finished the story for XBC 2 yet so I can't speak about the story in full but from what I've heard from people who have they said they really enjoyed it.

i am so happy right now man!

What really fucks my deck is when they have shit like Skill Drain in the deck.
Eldlich is a hard counter for my deck, or at least for the current iteration.

nah, I never bought a Madden game.  The few sports titles I've been into...
 
NFL Blitz - this is the real deal.  I don't care about "realistic" sports games.  The more crazy it is, the better. NBA Jam - same reasons as above....not much realism at all....we got players jumping 40 feet into the air and literally catching on fire.... and thus it was awesome. College Slam - same deal, but it was even more wild than Jam was. Joe Montana Football on the Genesis---but I enjoyed it for cruel reasons... I only wanted to injure the players on the other team.  I saw it as a "win" when the ambulance showed up and a dude on the other team got carried off in a stretcher....hahah I was always thinking like "YEAH....I got that son of a bitch." 😆  

i am black but i never bought madden not only because im not interested in it but on the off chance i did want to play like every single cousin has it. 
 
although if that ea vs marvel game had turned out to be an actual fighting game and not marvel nemesis i would definitely have played a football character.
