Not trying to grandstand on anything, but that's why shame and shaming people is important. Its a very...non-violent way of getting people to fix their shit. Unfortunately the last 60 years have taken something important mechanically for culture into a billion different convos. TL;DR: If you ever meet somebody willing to fuck up a group and not give a shit,think very carefully where you're threading with that person.

I remember seeing Andre at Youmacon in Detroit shortly after he pleaded guilty to credit card fraud. Everyone kind of couldn't believe he would show up but then I made the realization that we were in the presence of someone who doesn't give a fuck what people think about him. He doesn't have remorse. There are no second chances because I don't think he understands the gravity of his actions and simply doesn't care.
 
How can you trust someone like that? I don't think you can. It's unsettling.

Parrying uses less drive meter than using a drive impact back. I think this was a key part of why UMA ended up winning Capcom Cup because you are really gimped when you even start to run low on drive meter. We are talking about 0.5 meter but that can make a difference on the highest level.

I'm glad Luke didn't win. I'm glad JP didn't win. I'm glad Ken didn't win. My CC CUP was the LCQ. I hope they beat the fuck outa Luke in season 2. Respect to UMA though. He came through.

I picked EndingWalker and he didn't make it out of his Group. Honestly, he played a lot better with Ryu than Dee Jay. He probably would have done better going with Ryu only. There were so many Dee Jays that qualified, I'm sure all the qualifiers trained hard for that match up. Don't think they even bothered to put that amount of time into Ryu.

Juri winning Capcom Cup. Props to Uma, he played really well. And, most importantly, Luke did not win
