Idiots also seem to think that slavery was unique to America rather than the norm around the world for 99% of human history.

I'm still confused by what the hell that has to do with slavery. But I guess it's inevitable that slavery will be brought up in any discussion these days.  Also inevitable that someone will be called a Nazi.

I swear that when I 1st read it, it said Africa, as in Slavery was always present in Africa, long before the europeans came in.

Which Imo would make more "sense", than America.

Depends on the combat for me. Combat can look cool but be absolutely terrible. I hope their is a demo. It seems like a game with a Nier type setting and Bayonetta style combat but won't know until I can get my hands on it. Graphically the game seems okay. Although, maybe it's just me, but it seems to be slight downgrade from the initial trailers.

Honestly, I'd like a reason to turn on my PS5 besides Final Fantasy Rebirth this year. I've played maybe an hour of MK1 in the past two months. I ran through the FFXVI DLC in a few hours. My PS5 is going the way of my Xbox One X. NRS excluded, the PC versions of fighting games are rock solid. Except for exclusives, I'm getting the game on PC instead of PS5 and with Sony slowly going the MS route. Outside of whatever Nintendo is doing, I'm on my way to being a purely PC gamer.

Haven't heard of that one, I'll have to dig it up. And yeah, golden axe aged like room temperature milk. But I do still have nostalgia for the screams the arcade version belted out on the demo loop.

It prompted me to play some Golden Axe. Boy is that a series that hasn't aged well.

That beat em up discussion prompted me to play FnR again this weekend. Ended up doing 3 runs over the last 2 days- all fun, zero of the tedium that lesser games in the genre are susceptible to. Also nice that you can do a run in right around an hour if you don't get stuck on a section. I have 47 hours on that game since buying it in 2019 and still have a quick blast any time I pick it back up. There's something great about a game you can zip through without a major time sink, level grinding, collect a thon, or other padding.

Yeah but at least they'd have the excuse of it being their job. Most people are putting in what would be considerable overtime....if they were on the payroll. When they could be taking care of more important things....

Husband: "Hold on I have to reply to this Nintendrone/Sony Pony/Xbot that dared to do disparage Microsoft/Nintendo/Sony."
Wife: "This our first born child!"
Husband: "Okay lets go...wait they just replied. I'll call you an Uber."
