  1. I guess you're referring that to me. I've never really said that that I was advanced nor expert in martial arts. It was something to pass the time by the instructor or on my spare time in an attempt to learn something, 17 through 23 years young. In fact, I've never known how to defend myself properly nor had the physical strength to connect the dots, being in alot of fights in grade school. It takes me back, getting into fights for the purpose of being suspended, because I couldn't tolerate being made fun of.
  2. My latest and probably last unpopular opinion (I can't think of anything else beyond this point) is going to involve sex talk. So, I don't think a heterosexual man is necessarily gay if using sex toys contrary to the vagina shaped ones, pleasuring the rectum. Everyone in the world has their kinks, which shouldn't be limited to the misguided perception of minority sexualities. Just because your sexuality either lean to one side or the other, doesn't mean there can't be complications within the development or discovering what pleasures you that may be erotic or questionable to the individual or society. As long as it's not against the law, you have nothing to fear.
  3. Just keep on being you. Take nothing personal of people's questioning. Human beings fall victim of skepticism all the time when confronted to what they don't know or understand about a person or thing. The truth revealed help eases that. Anyway, you're alright in my book.
  4. Really? Interesting. I have vague memories from the nature of him of being non-religious. He wanted to have a private discussion with me about my beliefs, when I was religious. I was all over the place back then, than I am now, which may explain why he preferred me not to post in religious topics or topics that ignited religious conflict and discussions. Despite the complexity of the prefrontal cortex human beings seem to be more alike than they are different. So, I guess I'll take what you've said as a compliment, because I'm always looking for people who could potentially relate and interpret me.
  5. I'm curious, but don't be offended. When I post, it feels like you have this impulse for comparing yourself in relation to what I've said as a form of a popularity contest to look legitimate. I hope that's not the case. If it is, please work on your self-esteem, because we all have problems. It's just hard for me to believe that a pre-teen or early teen can best an instructor.
  6. Good information. So the people who were calling it soft at the time was a misconception. I'd love to go back to it.
  7. Is anyone a practitioner of traditional martial arts, MMA, or both here? I'm only familiar with Taekwondo and Wing Chun, but discontinued it. Taekwondo was instructed to me, but Wing Chun was self-taught. I never understood the spirituality beyond it from channeling a person's ki applied to this art. It sparked curiosity. Wing Chun is considered to be a soft martial art, but I was always fascinated with the philosophical nature of pressure points, long before I've known about IP Man. The only closest reference of inspiration prior, that made me a student of this martial art was the character Gen from the Street Fighter series. He was my favorite character. The only aspect I've liked from Taekwondo, was it gave me a template for working on my flexibility.
  8. Since Linkin Park has heavy metal.... I relate too much to maybe most song lyrics produced from this band.
  9. Interesting. Contrary to my anti-religious view from the Unpopular Opinions topic, I can see that I should be a little open-minded, so I will. I think reflecting on my life and current state of mind thus far, was a catastrophic outcome up to this point. If reincarnation exists, then I guess it's preferable than the mainstream view after you die.
  10. I miss being an extra in movies, but that was indeed a long time ago. It's something that I wanted to purse further and wanted to go to theater school, but my relatives wanted me to be something else in life, which was a grave mistake for confirming to. I did waste alot of time and still partly on borrowed time to right my mistakens. Sometimes, I wish reincarnation existed so I could start over on this subject. Anyway, it was nice meeting and talking to random people, Forest Whitaker, and Rob Lowe on set of certain scenes before taking place. I think the last two movies I was in was The Perfect Day and Hurricane Season. Having been a former brand ambassador for promotional events was the closest opportunity in an attempt to getting other gigs that were available for acting. Having done multiple gigs helped me engage with the people and challenge the convenience of previously being anti-social. I seem to be addicted to this forum after quitting my job, LOL.
  11. Recently converting back to anti-gun, I wish they were never created, because they are too convenient to kill someone with it in my eyes. I wish the prefrontal cortex wasn't so advanced on that sort of age old innovation and I agree with the Australian laws in relation to this subject. The primitive era of self-defense, I'm in favor of on how they survived during that era, paving the way forward for our existence to happen. I think we should go back to that, because nothing is more provoking when I see someone have their way from such a lazy and cowardly form of power. Given the forging of early policing, was through slavery institution and to control minorities. So, I don't look at law enforcement in a good light, because it's kind of iffy to turn something into a positive, when it was originally for something negative. I wish that there will come a day where policing is disband, so we can return to the days of old.
  12. An old android game from what I gather and subjectively compared to Lord Of Arcana for the PSP. Having played through the latter, I need something relatable. So, I'm going to try this. Also, I appreciate more Cyberpunk games coming to the Nintendo Switch.
  13. It seems that I've finally remembered my username on SRK, but it matters not. The original account was compromised and my username was edited by name of the user "System". I didn't have the best computer for combating hacking predators like this person at the time.
  14. This post has been on my mind for a few days, but I just wanted to say that I've been there being formally religious. Though I've developed toxicity at the time directing it to people who's belief didn't align with my own, and plus the self-loathing of who I was that's against the bible's teaching. Recently gaining memory of the old SRK members from the likes of Cisco at the time and debating an outspoken atheist Darisk (?) was it, reflecting on it was cringe worthy. I'm not sure what happened to Cisco, as I don't have the recollection of him being so bitter. He seemed approachable at the time, since he and I were both Christian.
  15. The last two stimulus I've gotten usually arrived in my bank late Sunday night. I didn't file my 2020 income tax only working 6 months last year and I'm currently unemployed, so hopefully it doesn't affect my eligibility.
  16. What are people's thoughts on reparations going on in Chicago? I understand being robbed of original culture and enslavement can give birth to resentment. Yet, I've never understood the selective racist bias that if a race enslave among themselves is more acceptable, than the positions being switched, having another race enslaving the other. I guess there will always be a divide in the human race. I think from ancient times, there was slavery in each part of world, where nations, be it stolen and conquered by the invasion of other races, were forged in their image, where the former were forgotten. I've never agreed with that method. On the other hand, in the United States, regardless of the lies that it was built on, I think diversity and differences have it's strengths, as each of us came a long way in inclusion. However, the con of race biology and culture differences can be our worst enemy at times. Regardless, the future of what been establish is uncertain, as I question if every nation was meant to fall. Perhaps all things must pass. Predictably can't last forever, because we're capable of shifting to destructive behaviors, that could put the nail in the coffin for the survival of our species.
  17. Meat consumption is disgusting at times, which is why I don't eat much of it. Part of me wants to return to veganism, if it wasn't for culinary arts, because I do care a little more about the animals. Eating something dead was always disturbing and hard to contemplate. Yet, I have to acknowledge that plants, which vegans take in are also animals. So, it's hypocritical to say otherwise of the unjustified radical behavior of the community. I think it's cruel that us animals are appetite dependent on each other for survival, also in our case for seeing other animals, as a special interest of investment across the board. Therefore, I think that we can't be fully empathetic of every life that currently exists and passed.
  18. I've only spent time on GGPO, FightCade, and NullDC Bear in the past, but was always uncomfortable using the applications. Since I miss old school, I might revisit them. I think if I do and decide to buy an upgraded PC, I will probably neglect buying any more consoles.
  19. This was probably my favorite scene from this old movie and John Claude Vandam was my second favorite martial artist next to the father that popularized it. Since I prefer 1980s and 1970s music, Bloodsport had the best movie soundtrack for it's time in hindsight. "On My Own Alone" lyrics by Stan Bush stood out as a favorite.
  20. I should buy this again, because SaGa is my favorite RPG series. I've had second thoughts replacing RPGs with shooters, but I'm still considering Splatoon for it's innovation. I'm glad that they are expanding the stories for characters and would like see them go into detail with Blue's ending.
  21. In my opinion, change is foreign, because it's painful making the transition over to what those consider to be an inconvenient outcome that they feel doesn't benefit them during that process. The person would have to be open to advice on their personal problem solving, therefore consenting and doing the work themselves through motivation and possibly urgency. They need guidance by having someone to mentor them. I know that I still struggle with nihilism for example, because I can't fully get out of it at this time. It's brings me comfort on the conception of purpose and meaning to the universe being somewhat without meaning. However, I would have be shown that it's not the case and correct my perspective by completely gravitating to the other side.
  22. Noted. I guess that's the world we live in, because I was a victim of identify theft before. Someone took out a mortgage in my name years ago when trying to apply for something, which I don't know the specifics of how it gotten resolved to this day. It's just off my record.
  23. Just because I dress gothic, doesn't mean I look unique. The only thing that stands out for me is not looking so legal to be honest, being close to 40. I tend to cling to adults that share the same characteristic.
