Got my second covid shot today and have my trip scheduled to go visit my grandma, buuuuut, woke to news that she fell and broke her hip last night. So hopefully I actually get to see her this time 😕

Grandmothers can be irreplaceable too. I remember she took me in when I was homeless at one point of my life. Being robbed of a childhood relationship with her from confusion and lies being told about her, it's better late than never when I was in my early 30s, realizing that. With the alarming underlining conditions she has similar to vital ones that my deceased mother had, it's imperative to enjoy her company while she's still here and salvage good memories of that.

I never thought I would ever be big on family (at least half the lot of them) in more recent times, but during the pandemic, it seems like people can change after all, and referencing life as short/non-promising to live the next day. I'm not complaining. ^_^

I just don't have time to keep up with it all, especially newer games where stuff is getting patched. I agree with you though, I'd almost rather play a Souls game or Tetris than jump on and play ranked matches these days.

I do wonder. Do you tend to neglect more complicated fighters and confirm to more simple or old school 1990s ones? I'm like that, if so. I can't seem to perform well in long or complex combo variations anymore with each character. I simply don't have the memory capacity to process it all anymore. Weaponlord from the mid 1990s is the only exception from it's reinterpretation of 2d fighters in hindsight for me.

I like single players modes in fighting games, especially as someone who still enjoys playing them but doesn't care about being competitive anymore. Any fighting game that doesn't have decent single player modes is fucking up big.

I agree with this. I went from hardcore competitive to hardcore casual, which I can't help. Unfortunately, I do miss those days, but certain tastes change as you get older and I'm not getting any younger and carefree as the rest.

    😂😂😂 where do you live??

New Orleans East. It's bad here. There was a murder here not too far off on the 6th floor (I'm on the 5th floor) and someone beat an elder with a pistol later on. One of us had to call help for him, because he was bleeding alot from his head. *Sigh* The occasional fights or potential ones break out. That's why I'm generally all to myself here. Overdose deaths occurs here, people steal your clothes if you don't stay in the laundry room downstairs, and security is just starting again. The police and medical support are tired of coming over here from what I've heard.

I'm kind of drunk, sadly. I apologize for the errors. LOL.

  5. Psychoblue...I believe he was the same user from the metal thread here that was giving me recommendation songs?

You definitely need to watch what you say as time advances on by readjusting to modern times, discarding the days of old.

Even one of my girl friends are on the blacklist by the government.

Well shit just add Kate Beckinsale in a black trench and you got my dollars.  Probably @Emptyeyes's dollars too.  😆

    Hm. Indeed.

This reminded me of the not so accessibility of gothic clothing and accessories here in Louisiana. I miss 10 years ago.

It's always nice to see such fashion and lifestyle on others, however.

Just like gay marriage, the overly religious United States will eventually catch up to the rest of the world.

To be honest, I like the direction where the US is slowly going from the "pro" perspective from my community due to past child abuse from my religious family. So, I see this as simple revenge. And, if their religious liberty is being after attack by what others see as an agenda, then they reap what they sow.

However, acknowledge that known religious people in the past were brilliant minds when it came to science. In this day of age, I just don't think a belief in something is needed anymore, due to how far we've came in science.

Back in 2017 we wrote about how Michael Latham was working on resurrecting Eternal Champions with a spiritual successor titled Eternal Successor; which never came to fruition but looked pretty awesome.

That's unfortunate. Sega really led the work in innovation at the time, which the games were always looked over.

Imagine having obscure games as your most favorite in that regard and having to form an effort to have interest in other fighting games outside of them?

It's unfortunate to be me on this subject, but at least Virtua Fighter hasn't been forgotten.

It's not like I didn't know about this, but this will likely trigger something really bad. I'm just not optimistic for the future and always had little faith in humanity from mere examples of this.

I wish that we were mostly selfless creatures rather than to manipulate and take from others passing it as our own.

Even I believe that all nations will fall eventually, because it's in our nature to destroy ourselves.

Can you post this article? I really want to read it 😂😂😂

    https://www.chicagotribune.com/redeye/ct-redeye-ask-anna-turning-gay-during-coronavirus-0528-20200525-oayama3bh5h45njkpuykgui4qy-story.html

Everyone read this for a moment, so I can dig up the other article.

This is just either bait or an unfortunate consequence for him. This 32 year old claims that he turned gay after a week from taking the shot.
