My brother had one, it made the Game Gear's battery life seem like the Gameboy's. Sometimes my brother would put brand new batteries into it and it wouldn't even turn on. I'd take the batteries and put them into my Game Gear and be good to go.

Jaffe is an exploration scrub. I mean this is the guy who plasters big ass buttons on the screen of his action games so you know when you can do the cool thing. 
 
Subtlety is not this man's bread and butter. This guys main protagonist had to be covered in the ashes of his dead family before it dawned on him that wantonly murdering randoms was a stupid thing to do lol. 

Today I learned that David Jaffe, creator of God of War and Twisted Metal, has a YouTube channel and is currently using it to bash Metroid Dread.
 
 
I was slightly interested in it before but with his input, I now know this game is  probably great.

Ok I'm about to say something that I've been holding back an opinion on for a minute...Nickelodeon all star brawl's animation on attacks mostly look uninspired, mediocre at best and need work.  I've been feeling this way about the game since probably about 2-3 weeks from the initial announcement trailer and each subsequent trailer has not eased my concern regarding this and has infact continued to deepen my concern on this.  There's barely any anticipation on any of the attacks and and some of them are really fucking hard to read probably because of the former reasoning.  Half the time characters are doing attacks and I can't even tell what the fuck they're doing for the attack.   Almost every attack feels super samey and there's not really enough oomph to them.  It's been killing my interest in playing this game cause I'm sure it's fun in short bursts but I have a super strong feeling that this game is not going to be around long if it isn't improved.  Melee people are fucking cumming their pants but cause the game has WAAAAAVE DASSSHINNGG and they're going to try to push this game like hell I know they gotta be kidding themselves on this and they're going to be in denial.   I would not be surprised if Sugarpunch did a video on this game's animation and there was a video I was listening to that pretty much mirrored my concerns regarding the game.  Glad the game exists and I was thinking about picking it up in the beginning but I've decided I'm probably not going to purchase it because I have a feeling they aren't going to do anything to address my problems with it.  /end 2 cents/take

It took me a some time in Dark Souls to get used to the button lay out but now that Ive gotten used to it...i kind of prefer it in a long of instances. It really does free up the face buttons for a lot of utility functions and when your combat doesnt really demand complex combos...i find it really works out, but it is something you really have to stick with and build a muscle memory for since outside other FromSoft games no one else really does it.
 
Reminds me of jump being on Triangle in DMC1. I fucking love it and think its brilliant cuz oyur thumbs basically always over it and jump is immediate I-Frames, but I get why lots of other people hate it since no one else puts jump on Triangle...FFXIV does only other one i can think of.

I'd be more then happy to co-op the game with you if you want.
 
And I feel you. I made it to the last boss of Sekiro and after 4 days of trying i gave up. I had to come back a year later and run through the entire game again. This time I got that Sword St but fucking christ man lol. So dont feel bad sometimes it takes a couple attempts.

Sounds like you need better pulling strategies. I love Central Yarhnam but then again I think I love every location in that game...
 
Except maybe the extremely small poison pool area. Just feels kinda there.

Restarted Bloodborne this weekend. 
 
I try to replay it every October, and remember every October how much I think Central Yharnam is a total drag. 
 
It's hands down my least favorite area in the game and I almost put the game down every year cause I find it miserable. 
 
But I pushed through, so the fun can start.
