I agree with everything you said here. First thing, don't harass people. WTF is wrong with you. At the end of the day it's a video game. There are more high quality games released than you have the time to play, buy something else. I think I have a back log taller than T.Hawk at this point. You can express your displeasure without harassing voice actors/face models etc. Don't support the developer if you are unhappy. All they care about is your money anyway.
 
As for the first part of your post, for the life of me I don't get the rationale of taking a traditionally attractive characters, hiring an attractive woman to be her face model, and then intentionally making her homely. It makes no sense. You want to be progressive. Hire an average woman, scan her face, and put it in the game. Let her make some money because, lets be honest here, she's not going to have the same opportunities as beautiful model.
 
The divergence between Eastern and Western Studios is crazy. I mean Western Studios will find a 10 out of 10 women. Make her look like a 5 and get a surprised Pikachu face when people call them out on it. Eastern studios will higher attractive people and scan them into their game so they can have an attractive character. This goes for smaller devs like Shift Up (Stellar Blade) to well known developers like Kojima Productions.
 
Side note: I find out it humorous when they were calling out Stellar Blade for having an unrealistic character model. Finding out she's a based on a model and instead of taking the L. They tried to act like she looked like a 12 year old. The woman is 32.

MJ is supposed to be well hot. Isn't that her overall design since day one? The in model character isn't. It's even more obvious because Black Cat in game looks good and similar to comic ver. HAVING SAID THAT harassing the IRL person isn't helping the issue and only further perpetuates the bad stereotype that gamers are socially inept. 

He thought his agent said "Taken" when he agreed to do it. He thought he'd be doing movie with Liam Neeson. 

It isn't a full blown gamer issue as I'm sure the venn diagram of people harassing movie stars for their roles in tv shows and movies has a good amount of overlap.  This is really a whole dif degree of separation now that these people are doing.  She's not even voicing the character as far as I know.  She face modeld and then went on about her life...she didn't expect a bunch of assholes to invade aspects of her life that had nothing to do with this what probably amounted to 30 min-hour of her time.  This is not normal behavior for people who have a modicum of decency in them.

Tbh, this is a general issue of social media allowing a lot of socially inept individuals access to express their opinions.
 
 

Yeah the MSI Claw has the issues i thought it would have. The power profiles are higher. I doesn't even  have a 9w mode. The lowest is 15w, mid level is 30w, and the performance mode is 45w. The battery isn't that much larger than Legion Go. I can't imagine what the battery life will be. With it being Meteor Lake, the 15w mode is likely going to be sus.

Damn, who knows how many copies they could have sold if it were for the boycott and general hostility of the gaming press towards the game. I guess will never know. This should be a lesson to publishers on how much the opinion of Twitter/X and the gaming press truly means.  👀

The Xbox audience was the most diverse during the 360 era. MS actually made an effort to get high quality games from various genres then. It's why despite RRoD the 360 did so well. Xbox has never recovered from the Xbox One debacle and at this point, I think it never will. 

Rumors are floating around that Hi Fi Rush might be headed to other consoles...Xbox fans are not taking the rumors well at the moment

Tekkens roster history alone speaks for itself and is all the argument he's ever needed to make. Just post a picture of the series 30 year history and keep it moving.

Over on the Twitch website, the company says that, as of yesterday, it’ll be cracking down on any ‘implied nudity.’ As the post itself says:
  As of January 3, streamers will be required to make sure there is no suggestion that they may be hiding obvious nudity. The update specifies that, where required, “coverage must be fully opaque,” adding that “sheer or partially see-through clothing does not constitute coverage.”
 
Adults only…kind of
Given that Twitch is largely a place where people go to watch content creators play games or engage in creative activities, it stands to reason that sexual or adult content would not be encouraged.
However, the site recently updated another policy, which introduced a new label for streams classed as having “sexual content.” This means content such as “erotic dances” and “fictionalized” nudity are allowed, providing they are correctly labeled. Full nudity…still a massive no-no, however. Also, streams of this nature are not present on the homepage.
As for the update to the attire policy, Twitch has made it clear that it does not want streamers to be presenting themselves with “implied nudity.” The post states that such content will have its label changed to a more appropriate one, while repeat offenses will “lead to an enforcement action.”
 
 

I beat Spider-Man 2. Looking to start Jedi Survivor or Dadnarok DLC. Has anyone played Jedi recently? I'm wondering how the performance is now. 

I'd say my favorite new to me games of 2023 were RE4R,  GoW: Ragnarok, Infernax, Gravity Circuit, and Getsu Fuma Den: Undying Moon. Returnal was cool as well, but a few design elements coupled with issues on the PC port dragged it down.

Best game for me last year was BG3. I never thought there would be a game I’d enjoy more than a new Zelda, but here we are. Spider Man 2 was also great. I still need to try out Alan Wake 2 at some point though I may not since I never played the first game.
