  1. ah, they could still get even more greedy... it just hit me that one of the big publishers might try this some day from their "monetization brainstorm session" "So...what if we charged them 24.99 for just the title screen?" "....what?" "Y'know...just that title screen....THEN... it's an extra 49.99 to actually start the game." "Oh but wait...check this out though...how 'bout we charge them the 24.99 for the title screen...but 20 bucks for *each* thing on there, like Continue, New Game, New Game+, and the Options... we may want to split it up into parts too; like they have to buy each piece of the game world for 10 bucks...." "heh niiiiice, yeah that's a good one. Those saps will probably go for it, lol. Some will complain but most will roll over and buy anyway. We should also stick to the plan with it being online-only, then when the sequel comes out, we delete part 1 right off the servers....hahaha!"
  2. Silver Foxxx just posted more incredible material
  3. Check out Kat Graham's latest post on the insta: 😮 https://www.instagram.com/p/CpQQS9op_Zw/
  4. Oh wow that actually happened... and of course with probably none of the charm of the older one. Disney doesn't seem to care about 2d animation anymore, apparently. Hmm... perhaps a new Lilo & Stitch then, though that little girl was already brown so they would have no inclination to "swap" her. We'll see if "Brave" gets that treatment at some point in the near future; I'm sure it's on their "to do" list.
  5. Yeah... and that's insane to me... "here's a shader....but you can only use it the one time." Bruh c'monnnn... The level of greed it takes to come up with that... is STRONG. 🤣 That seems to be the driving mindset of the suits in the bigger companies at this point--- "what kind of slimy shit can we legally get away with here..?" That seems to be how they approach any situation in this industry. ...y'know, the kind of people who probably say: "Why include a color wheel/picker customization thing when we could sell that off....as individual colors....maybe 2.99 each!" ...then the other guy who's even more devious is like "....one-time use though...then they have to keep buying the same color repeatedly." 😆
  6. Wooo boy, I'm not even a fan of this franchise but goddamn this is a disaster... including "single-use" cosmetics... one of the greediest concepts around at the moment...surprising more companies don't try it from what I hear... I *think* Destiny 1 or 2 had that going on as well? Seriously, that 1 little detail is so amazing it sounds like a joke or parody someone came up with to poke fun at how the industry is today...
  7. In that theoretical example---the ones who are on the hunt for something to be offended by would probably think something along the lines of "why are you getting black actors to play dog characters?". Y'know... the same kind of people like that Martin Lawrence character in the movie "Boomerang", who see "racist messages" in nearly everything. (there's that great scene when he's explaining how the game of billiards is racist because of the white ball knocking the shit out of all the other colored balls on the table) It would be interesting to see if they try it so I could observe the results. Eh, I'll admit it's a bit of a longshot---they'd realistically just make it all cgi though. They'll get around to it soon enough since they just remake everything over and over. I wonder how long until we get a remake of the Will Smith Aladdin remake? That will be an interesting new era, when we see remade remakes...then a few years later they remake the remake of the previous remake! 😆
  8. Also, it appears that some of the Lost Boys are girls now, unsurprisingly. It would be funny if they bring back "Lady & the Tramp" and make that live-action but have the dog characters being played by black actors....and thus "accidentally" offending literally everyone at the same time while trying to ride a certain bandwagon which doubles as a shield for criticism *and* helps gain free publicity by going viral. ...which reminds me again that I'm relieved that *apparently* the new "The Lost Boys" (as in the 1987 legendary vampire movie) remake is either forever in development hell or just got quietly canceled. (the CW series for sure appears to be dead, thankfully....CW in recent years is actually worse than anything Disney, imo). Because things are the way they are today, I'm already 100% sure of what would happen there and it would be awful to see it brought back to popularity in such a context. They'd no doubt change David into a black (or latina but most likely black) girl (*because for most of the story, David is presented as the "lead" vamp and is thus a prominent character being pushed as the coolest one...so of course in today's context this has to be changed into being a black woman, obviously...perhaps the new name is "Davina". Michael is in turn also changed out to be "Michelle" since you can't allow a male character to legitimately defeat/kill a female character [even if she's a villain] at the end, obviously.)
  9. Ohhhh yes I look forward to whatever new info comes out about this soon (*hahah, yeah... all this hype just for the announcement itself and this one picture so far 😆) https://www.gamesradar.com/elden-ring-shadow-of-the-erdtree/ https://www.ign.com/articles/elden-ring-expansion-announced-shadow-of-the-erdtree *Diablo---the powerlevel of my Crusader took off after getting some good/lucky drops early like the Darklight weapon (a legendary power that doubles the "Fist of the Heavens" lightning bolt; a critical upgrade for that Aegis build); I'm closing in on paragon level 300 already, and nearly at the bottom of the Altar thing. The player characters for this season are definitely going to be even more OP than ever before. (ha, except Witch Doctor... I guess the devs don't seem to care much about that character class. It's been one of the low-tier picks for quite a while now.) The Aegis build is also something that finally made the crusader class much more fun/cool to play.
  10. Oh yeah, Wishmaster is alright.... and a bit of horror trivia for ya--- this movie includes appearances by Robert Englund, Tony Todd and Kane Hodder! So, we got the legendary Freddy, Candyman and Jason Voorhees actors all in one movie here. The djinn is easily defeated though if you do a wish like "I wish were never released." Or "I wish you and all other djinn never existed." ---as long as the rule holds true that it is compelled to always grant the wish....but then that might create a paradox kind of situation...how could the wish have been granted if such a being never existed in the first place? ...like if you invent a time machine, then go back in time and kill your past self before inventing the time machine.
  11. Ohhh I got some interesting movie pickups today---- at the Best Buy, I saw the Wishmaster Collection... "regular" blu-ray though, no 4k unfortunately. I also saw that the original Flatliners was there so I got it too. The Wishmaster collection is 4 movies; I actually never saw any of those. I was also intending to get the Army of Darkness 4k but it was gone. Bonus eye-candy--- I spotted a cute redhead while I was there....sadly she appeared to be off the market though; was walking with her boyfriend or husband. Her face was only so-so though...but the body was fantastic. this pizza I got is SO damn good though... I decided to try a "veggie pizza" for a change
  12. asmr YiQin dropped this gold just a while ago... Yoga + delicious Upskirt shots
  13. One positive thing in the game industry that took me completely by surprise though... a couple of online-only games actually becoming playable offline. I'm still blown away that any company would actually reverse course on such a thing, but there is precedent now... the folks behind V-Rising made an update that allows you to play offline....and from what I've heard/read online, apparently this happened with Back 4 Blood as well. It's one of the most unexpected thing I've ever seen happen in recent gaming history, actually....reminds of when MS had to change the gameplan they originally had in mind for XBox 1 because the backlash about a major system being 100% "always online" was that bad. Usually, I'd expect the dumbass suits that make such decisions to stand their ground no matter how foolish their plan with something is, no matter how poor the audience reactions to it is.....but sometimes the rare "course correction" actually does happen. D3---I'm about halfway down the Altar "skill-tree" at this point; it would be nice if this seasonal thing stayed in the main game permanently. Both PS5 and Switch characters are well into the paragon levels at this point.
  14. Diablo----So I took a look at the leaderboards to see if they're cheating this early and yep, they are. 😆 I really don't see the appeal, man... the top spot right now for Greater Rifts has a weapon with 3 gem slots (this is impossible) with gem icons I've never even seen before... 922% damage, plus ridiculous attack speed, critical hit, Life Per Hit, 300% damage to all skills 750 Intelligence, 50% damage to Undead, 38k Thorns damage, 100% chance to fear on hit (which is a stupid, pointless effect, btw) + a long list (15 bullet points of special stuff) of special effects...and that's JUST what's listed on the weapon.....and the weapon damage is listed as 143k....as a yellow rare weapon. The belt has 3 gem slots....actually... ALL his items have 3 gem slots. He beat GR 150 in 29 seconds, I see. This is just day #2 of the season, folks. 🤣 My luck factor with the season on PS5 is crazy right nnow... right away I just got an amazing ancient legendary item that is perfect for one of the top tier builds...this is right after another one of the best necro items (grasps of essence; powers up corpse explosion) dropping right away before I even hit level 70 earlier on this one.
  15. A wild guess--- MK12 will also be online-only, with all extra outfits/cosmetics (which will range in looks from lazy to straight up ugly shit no one with any taste would spend 2 cents on) being microtransactions....and of course the female characters will be look even more unappealing than ever before. Good thing I don't truly care as much about that franchise as I once did. It's a series I could still have fun with, assuming it's done "right"....but probably not for a full price anymore.
  16. Ohhh yessss... it just occurred to me to check out the Suicide Squad game's subreddit. Of course you know why I'm there....to see the threads and commentary of so many disappointed fans. I'm like a vulture that has found another fresh dead carcass in the road here. We have another front-row seat to a modern gaming disaster and it will be quite the spectacle. Ah, if only I had my own youtube channel as well... it would be yet another source of deliciously easy content/views. I'm also curious to see what kind of people defend things like this, so that's always part of my morbid curiosity as well. Some of the gameplay actually does look fun though.... too bad about the online-only requirement and dopey-looking Harley design.
  17. I'll get back to Bayonetta 3 soon, if I could stop being distracted by so many other things at the moment, like Hogwart's Legacy and Diablo... Diablo 3 season 28 is officially on and poppin'... I got my Necro up to 60 so far... will likely be at level 70 quickly in my next play session. The new "Altar" this season gives so many changes it's crazy... one of the 2nd nodes you can unlock removes all level requirements on gear, which as one might guess is a ridiculous power increase to low-level characters. You could theoretically have all level 70 stuff equipped on a level 1 character. I already started crafting whatever is the highest I could get from the blacksmith; I'm assuming it's 70s already (not sure since this "remove level req." thing just makes everything show up as "level 1" now.) Necromancer as usual is the way to go to level up fast as a starting character...mostly because the "corpse explosion" skill is pretty much better than anything the other character classes have at low levels....so in no time, Necro can wipe out huge groups of enemies like it's nothing, leading to a much faster exp gain for your time. It's amazing to see how fast others are with this shit--- I checked the reddit board and some of my fellow Diablo fanatics are already into paragon levels....and this season just started last night. Rhykker also made a "best builds" vid just yesterday for the new season edit---ha, no time at all---level 70, paragon 24 already with a few Altar nodes unlocked
  18. Oh yeah...surprisingly that didn't come to mind right away----I suppose I'm a bit of a casual there. I didn't even know about it until the late 80s cartoon that blew up the popularity, and from there I just liked the original cartoon, the 2003 cartoon, the first movie (but not the others) and the games....mainly the games though. I love it much more in that format than anything else, really....it's like a story/concept that was destined to be such prime "beatemup" genre gaming material. I've played the hell out of that new one that was released recently. Also from popular horror...the usual big 3: Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th and Hellraiser. I have the complete collection of Nightmare and the Friday franchises. Hellraiser is sadly much more hit and miss for me...it's maianly parts 1 - 4 I remember and I don't care much for anything beyond that point *except* this latest one that came out on Hulu which appears to have saved/resurrected the franchise. Ohhh and how could I forget----DOOM and Saint's Row....yeah those are 2 big, legendary franchises for me.... too bad the last Saint's Row has effectively murdered the IP.
  19. A lot comes to mind usually separated by what realm of entertainment it came from (comics vs. movies, vs. shows, cartoons, games, etc) for me but these are the top ranks that came to mind right away: Vampire the Masquerade Warhammer - though I'm still just *recently* getting into this lore; I had a passing interest before and then that game "Space Marine" in the 360 era got me hooked a bit more. Diablo - I was just thinking about the total hours played again earlier today for D3... 480 hours just on Switch... at least 850-ish on the XB1...but it goes even further since I played a lot on 360, PS3 and the original PC version. Yes, it's quite insane. Dragonball Bleach Bayonetta Transformers X-Men Gears of War The Matrix Power Rangers/Super Sentai
  20. Yeah the first thing noticeable in that clip is that's one hell of a big "kid" there. I wouldn't be surprised if he's a natural bully simply because he's bigger than others in his class.
  21. ^Another bit of proof that confirms I made the right choice to NOT go with that career path of becoming a teacher. Imagine having to deal with someone else's trashy, worthless, dangerous kids on a daily basis....for years.....and to add insult to injury it's for a relatively low salary. Nah, that's foolishness. It surprises me we don't hear more stories of teachers committing suicide or flipping out in some other way. There is nothing positive to be had in that career... especially in the public schools at a typical big city.
  22. heh, good on ya, "Carl Winslow" Reginald Veljohnson for getting this recurring gig as "America's Dad" on those commercials... it's a surprise and refreshing to see a "dad character" in a commercial (or anything else on tv) that's *not* portrayed as the buffoon caveman of the family, a subservient goon to the all-knowing, all-powerful woman of the house. It was an odd thing how that guy got typecasted for a while too... he was always playing a police officer for some reason...even as Carl Winslow.
  23. Oh I am so surprised that the Suicide Squad game is another pile of "online-only LOL!!!" shit. That's 1 additional reason for me to disregard any notion of spending even 1 penny on that nonsense. I look forward to the inevitable videos poking fun at that as the next major gaming dumpster fire to watch burn. Ugly characters and it's gimped by forever being tied to a company's servers? Get all the way out of here with that mess. Maybe it's just that younger people in general never think of the long-term implications... but it's forever strange to me that people are ok with spending money on a game that you will NOT be able to play on launch when the servers are shitty (*watch what happens with Diablo 4. It will be a repeat of D3 in 2012)....or whenever there's maintenance....and of course...after it all gets shut down in about 2 to 3 years tops once it fails.
  24. Infinity Gems--- if you guys were limited to having just 1 or 2, which ones? (*assuming with the capacity to use them with no adverse effects due to being afflicted with this curse of being a "mere human") If limited to 2 I'm taking Time and Power... it's that ultimate combo of being effectively immortal and invincible for one...that's a main point of appeal to me...but also that lure of being able to see all points of interest that happened in the past... like seeing what a world of dinosaurs actually looked like in person...and then being there for the first hominids and ultimately the first of homo-sapiens. It would be fascinating to see whatever I want in person at any point in the entire timeline(s) due to having the Time gem. It may also be interesting to meet and speak with time-variants of myself. Other historical points of interest---imagine going back to see Gobekli Tepe being built...or the Great Pyramids in Egypt, or how it looked when they were putting the Statue of Liberty together, etc. etc....ooh, and I'd see for sure what was up with Atlantis and what happened there, etc.
