  1. yeah, my cousin had the original Stinkor back then... and I thought it would be funny to wash the figure (*unbeknownst to my cousin, of course); I was thorough with the hot water and soap....the smell was diminished but it was still there. From the wiki: https://he-man.fandom.com/wiki/Stinkor Stinkor was presented to Lou Scheimer and other staff at Filmation for inclusion in the original She-Ra: Princess of Power cartoon series as a member of the Evil Horde, but his questionable superpower kept him from ever making an appearance on television. According to Filmation staff, when the description of Stinkor was read out at a meeting of the story editors, all of them burst out laughing at the idea of a character who was "a walking fart joke" and vowed never to use Stinkor in any episode script[3] 🤣
  2. oh shit---imagine other animal possibilities... like being a werekangaroo!! Too bad that Elder Scrolls 6 still has probably a few decades of dev time before it's even close to release.. that world does indeed have other "were-" creatures/people in it besides the wolves and bears, if I recall. I don't think the Khajit could as the same thing though, since they have the same appearance all the time. ...ooh, a weregiraffe! 🤣 Those are too silly though, but I probably would be a wereskunk....or a bear or crocodile. I'll bet Stinkor is gone when I get back to that store... it's usually how my luck plays out; I'll think "I should get that when I see it again..." then I go back to the store and it's gone. It appears I lost the chance forever on that Venger/Dungeonmaster double-pack. The stores only have the other D&D characters now.
  3. I might get that "Stinkor" figure I keep seeing lately in Target and Walmart.... haha it just hit me---imagine being a "wereskunk"! That would be funny, but even more of a curse than normal lycanthropy... you can shift into this monstrous animal/human hybrid form....but it's a skunk so you're a creature that's known because of how much its spray stinks....and it's a bit on the ugly side too; not quite as cool-looking as a wolf. ...ooh, or a werebear---imagine how terrifying that could be in real life. Skyrim has them, btw... that was an awesome surprise on one of my adventures just randomly exploring the world of Tamriel that day...and they just pop up out of nowhere on ya. In a panic I changed into the vampire lord monster form to fight them.
  4. So....there's another one Hell yeah let's get this alien party started, folks....perhaps they finally decided "it's time..."?
  5. I hadn't had my usual driving theme music in a while.... was listening to the radio instead lately... so I started back carrying some CDs with me (yep my car was from back when CD players were still a standard thing included; a shame that apparently isn't the case in recent years...I still prefer to listen to music either on cd or saved as a file ...anyway, I still have the Witcher 3 cd, and this is one of my favorite tracks on that incredible soundtrack... it's always an epic good time when this is my "traveling theme" on my way somewhere...(today it was the trip to the gym and back home)
  6. oh yeah there's more inspiration for new characters for me---- Vanilla Gorilla is a good one. That "object" that was shot down; there's been mentions of this all day on the news of course----so of course this got me curious... the reasons for *not* saying whatever this "object" is? Either... It's another spy balloon from China or somewhere else, and the gameplan is to avoid confirmation... because it looks bad for this to happen right after the previous one... this has obviously exposed the country for being even weaker and more easily infiltrated than anyone previously thought. Or perhaps it's a UFO, and this might be another Roswell crash situation? ...and thus they avoid saying what exactly the "object" is for the usual obvious reasons. Then again, why not go with the usual lie like "eh it was a weather balloon this time..." Usually I'd expect them to lie instead of just a blank answer like "uh... it was....something....an object." (*leading me back to thinking the first option is more likely....which is unfortunate because naturally the "Aliens!?" scenario is far more interesting and cool to me.)
  7. That redhead girl was looking quite tasty... so suddenly it looks like that show Suits may have earned another new fan then. ...would be nice if certain major studios/companies weren't so apparently hellbent on keeping those lovely creatures banned from most movies. The best bet is still the occasional commercial on tv...usually commercials for medication or restaurants. The gingers are at least allowed to be prevalent there.
  8. sheeeittt, we got some exploits incoming.... I'll probably take advantage before they "fix" this Fextralife has also been coming thru with the build guides as usual: oh, and Raxx has his Diablo 3 tier list ready for the upcoming season, I see... 27 is still in effect at the moment; this is probably the last few days of it... I just beat a GR 121 (the payout is 106 billion xp!) with my necro (death nova build), which in this season has easily been the most OP character I've ever played in the game so far. **funny thing---I noticed some people ranked below my spot on the leaderboards that had modded gear equipped 😆 They're not cheating hard enough, obviously; my character is all legit, baby. *sheeeittt... I still laugh when I remember an old friend who claimed (when trying it since "Solo GR 20" is one of the early seasonal challenges) "mannnn Greater Rift 20 is just impossible, dude..." 🤣 gr20 is the equivalent of Torment 4 difficulty, btw (top regular difficulty outside GRs is 16.)
  9. ^sheeeittt, Charlize can still get this meatpipe anytime, anyplace. The Wall is trying but she keeps dodging its effects so far. I wonder...how many people would enjoy it if they got to stay in this world as a ghost and haunt a place indefinitely. I most likely would, depending on what the alternative is. That's at least some way of still being around to observe whatever happens in this world for the rest of however long this civilization lasts. I probably would not be one of those that actually messes with people in a negative way....but just there to still be around, observing things and reminiscing on old times. Almost anything that amounts to effective immortality; I'm usually on board with taking that deal....especially if I get interesting powers on top of it....ooh, especially possession; that would be fun. Also---if ghosts are a real thing... that opens the little question of appearance... would it be your idealized self-image, like whatever age you were in your prime, best self? Say you happen to meet others...and you meet your dead grandparents or great grandparents... people grow up only knowing of "grandma" and grandpa when they were already old (usually)...like that's how I always imagine my grandparents, though of course I've seen pictures of how they looked in their younger days. From their perspective, wouldn't they prefer to still look like they did as a young 20-something? Or----what if the ghostly appearance is something else entirely? ...like if you're just a being of light/energy (or conversely--shadows/darkness), and thus you don't even resemble a physical creature anymore?
  10. That 8th season finale of Chicago PD was just on again... I usually watch whenever the marathon gets to that point because it was one of the most intense episodes of the series.... especially when Voight caught up with Roy Walton, one of the most despicable bastards on the show... there was so much going on there that of course carried over into several episodes of the next season This scene right here was huge, especially following some of the previous interactions she and Voight have had about lines being crossed. Usually I only go for shows and movies that involve some supernatural shenanigans but Chicago is an exception to the rule and in the top tier for me.
  11. yeah I can confirm; Hogwart's Legacy on the ps5 has some truly incredible graphics... I'm still just scratching the surface; last night I did 2 main missions that are just "go to this class and learn the new spell" situations... and a sidequest where I battled some other students....so now I have that spell that lets me snatch things (or people) out of midair to bring them close, and a levitate spell.
  12. I can only imagine the suffering of a dude that married one back in the pre-bonnet days, and now she's "one of them". ...like there was a girl back in college I met again for the first time since we were little kids, and it seemed like we were hitting it off for a brief time (so this was almost playing out like one of those "romcom" movies)... fast forward to now and I'm thankful that never "worked out", because she's just like the other 97% of them at this point, even recently mentioning on social media that she needed to new bonnet. Imagine having to deal with that now....and we all know they *can't* be checked about anything or else there's dire consequences, since American women in general are like spoiled children who grew up never once being told "no" to anything in life....always used to getting their way or doing/saying whatever they want with no significant consequences. ...but yeah I can't beat the dead horse enough; that "fashion" item is the most disgusting shit possibly of all time. I put it right up there with the jheri curl hairstyle and gold teeth, or them having an abundance of tattoos. In fact it's arguably even worse...it's that bad to the point if being an auto-disqualifier. If Hell froze over and god forbid I was married, I absolutely don't want to see her walking around looking like a goddamn "mammy'" stereotype... especially if we're out in public. nah man fuck THAT. Flip it around for a minute---this is probably how women felt if they hated the "durag" when that raggedy looking shit became popular....but even then only certain "types" of dudes wore that.
  13. Yeah that's disgusting... good thing I already gave up on that show a few years/seasons ago.... it just got to a point where it wasn't at all interesting anymore, and I was only watching to check out Jessica P. Kennedy as their daughter from the future.... Jess was one of the hottest girls ever in CW history. (also formerly of "The Secret Circle" as one of the witches) ...but yeah that's ridiculous that now the bonnet has become so unfortunately mainstream that it appears on a major character in a goddamn CW show..... and to think, that actress is apparently ok with wearing this on the show?! I don't know much about her personally but I would have assumed she's above that (like she'd take one glance at the script and be like "uhhhh NO.") but I guess not. edit---one of the strange things here----I'd bet that if this scene were written into season 1 or 2, back before this eyesore became a popular item of fashion.... she would probably have had pushback like "what the hell is this? I'm not going to be on tv looking like a modern-day Aunt Jemima mammy stereotype here....hell nah"---and probably a LOT of black folks might've been griping about this shit on twitter like "Is this how they see our women? They purposely wrote it so she puts that mammy bullshit on in this nationally televised show, eh?"----but it's all changed and they embraced this ugly garbage with pride now. Pure Twilight Zone shit here, imo.
  14. Thanks to youtube, re-watching things from childhood is always just a few clicks away... like Saturday morning NBC in the mid '80s:
  15. *^that is a shame; I thought Madonna was SO hot back in the 80s and early 90s...I would've been her boytoy anytime anyplace without question. It's a shame what Time and The Wall does to beautiful women. It was bound to happen eventually... some broad stormed off the Pearly show recently... oh yeah things got juicy real fast...should've had some security folks to lay down the law...
  16. Oh... well, of course ol' "DarkSyde" is also streaming Hogwarts at the moment [mirror]; I'll have to check in on occasion to watch the gold....he's creating his character right now. I think AlmightyTevin is probably mirroring his stream as well....now I'm not sure if I want to watch the "Dark Dave" mirror or Tevin's coverage. ...damn but I also want to just play the game myself though; there's not enough time in life for all the fun things.
  17. ha! Now I want to make a character with that name---"Period Skid-Marks". At a glance some may think he's a period stain.... but he's a shit creature disguised with high level illusion magic! *I'll probably get Hogwart's on Steam too since I hear it's confirmed to work on the Steam Deck....
  18. It's been so long ago now that I forgot exactly what it is that JK said... ah, it's almost been 3 years at this point... https://www.glamour.com/story/a-complete-breakdown-of-the-jk-rowling-transgender-comments-controversy Of course, having any sort of opinion that isn't totally in line with 100% praising this "sacred cow" group of people is always deemed as "phobic" and horrible. It's fun to laugh at them, at least. They CAN'T handle any sort of criticism or opposing points of view. ...and oh yes there's a bit of satisfaction in how their cries for boycotting this game only helped it to surge and pull in some insane sales numbers in record time. 🤣 Anyway---I'm wondering how downgraded the visuals will be for the Switch version later... because the graphics quality I'm seeing on the PS5 version is absolutely crazy so far. Sheeeittt, I should've taken a day off for this, actually. It's been a long time since I did that to make a true "event" out of a game launch
  19. I just started Hogwart's; creating my character now--- one great detail I notice right away in customization....the hair options. Unlike most games, the various hairstyles actually look good and realistic in this! It might take me awhile on this part of it because there's so many cool options to pick from here... ah, so now, the adventures of the mysterious young mage "Nagraj Jambi" have begun.... *holy shit that opening segment just now... **I prioritized the graphics for now (as opposed to "performance") and the visuals are insane right now House Slytherin btw, of course.
  20. There's times when I miss how things were before Youtube became such a major thing that eats up so much time... back then, I'd spend free time either gaming, watching/recording tv, listening to music or surfing the net to check forums and of course to check my usual places for nice TnA "material".....or drawing or whatever else. It seemed like plenty of time in the day for all that....and even in the beginning, youtube was some raggedy bullshit with poor quality vids usually of people uploading their pets doing something "cute" or whatever funny clip from tv.....but now it's just so much---like I had 4 or 5 tabs up until just now it's down to 3 as I get caught up on some things (still listening to Roddy McDowall's reading of that book "Communion", and the other 2 things are podcasts I check regularly). Oh--- I forgot if I mentioned this but a major 4k find a few days ago---> An American Werewolf in London...yes, on 4K disc. I HAD to snag that right away, obviously. That particular store I got it from still has a surprisingly good tv/movie section. (Best Buy)
  21. I have to wonder how pissed they are about August Wilson or whatever his name is blabbing about the whole thing... there was suspicion about Will and Jada's "marriage" for a while, and then this dude came out with confirmation which blew everything up, and it just got worse from there. I'm sure that for various reasons they'd rather this all just remained a "rumored" thing people gossiped about instead of being all over the media like that. **randomly hit me--- I wonder if some of the hate the "Passport Bros." get from other men is because those other dudes CAN'T do the same thing (perhaps due to certain criminal records holding them back or obligations that keep these dudes anchored to the U.S.? I am not sure if certain things like that in a person's background can hold them up from getting a passport but I would not be surprised if it's serious enough)..? If so that's even more pathetic than I previously thought. 😆 It's already no surprise that women (usually black women from what I've noticed) hate it, but it seems especially odd and pitiful for any of this to be coming from other so-called "men".
  22. ...so good to hear Yong covering all these live services getting shut down. This trend in gaming is a plague that deserves to die out. It disappointed me to see that Redfall was yet another that is part of that category---- just watch, it will play out the same way... servers will be crap so no one will be able to play when it launches... playerbase will drop off a cliff pretty fast and the game will be completely dead and thus unplayable in about 1 to 2 years....again proving that *forced* reliance on the internet connection is by far the worst thing ever to happen to videogames. It's always odd to me when some content creators (YongYea himself is one) that sometimes say "this is a good idea in theory but..."----NO, it's not even a good idea to begin with. This is a garbage concept from the start that only benefits companies, and is all negative for the consumer. Even something as simple as "server maintenance" time---that means you can't play the game at the moment....as opposed to a game that works offline where you can play it whenever you you have the free time. Diablo 3 btw--- I hit paragon level 1000 just yesterday; first time I've gone that far within a season; that's going to be a huge paragon point bump once this season ends (when that happens, your seasonal characters and all that paragon leveling gets added to your regular "non-season" cast of characters, which at least on console can be played offline whenever you want...I was playing offline characters while waiting on my gym class session to start earlier, btw) **Hogwarts---I went ahead and pre-ordered the deluxe edition, so I'll be able to start my adventures in this apparently tonight!
  23. Oh yeah I forgot how long ago I started but that's been my gameplan too for a while now. In the pre-pandemic days of going to an office building every day it was more of an awkward situation though (**because sinks are typically a distance from the stalls in public bathrooms; at a typical house, a sink is usually right there in reach); I actually didn't think to just use a water bottle....it was kinda rare that I shitted while at work anyway though... (*shitting at work is best afterhours though---that's great when most people had already gone home so you don't have to worry about others coming in there) ..but at home for sure; I'll always wet the toilet paper and have a little soap, so it's more of an actual "washing up" than just a dry wipe situation; it's superior. I can't settle for less anymore. edit---ooh now I found a reading of "Communion" by Roddy McDowall! https://youtu.be/R7Xg4rqqanA
