I also never heard of Tory until the situation with Megan. ...but it should be no surprise as they are not making the kind of music I enjoy anyway. Most of these people I never heard of until they're in trouble with the law or end up shot as per the usual at this point with that side of the music industry. It never stops being funny to me. I don't think this is even a politics/ideology bias sort of thing, actually---I think part of it is a side effect of him just being a contrarian type of person.

That creative process of others and how far ahead in the story they're planning is always interesting to me---I wonder at what point did Kubo decide that this character/manifestation of "Zangetsu" would also represent this other character in this storyline years later... or may that have been the plan from the start with that one. (*the characters I made and had in my sketchbooks over the years---I always liked having the full plan in mind for them, often including the basic points of what a "grand finale" for them would be, and how they would develop along the way in the story) This show being back in action has been such a great thing; when I first saw it all those years ago, thanks to CN/Toonami (after some friends recommended it since they knew this would be my kind of thing), it was instantly my #1 of the popular Shonen anime/manga... I was always hyped for whatever was going to happen in the next episode, and this return has brought me right back to how that felt. Now the dream would be another major video game ....the last big one I had was Soul Resurrection on PS3, which most people probably forgot or never knew of--- it was a Dynasty Warriors style kind of thing; most people probably would want a fighting game but that "musou" type of game is what I'd prefer for this IP. Imagine how it would be now if they make it after this story ends, including all the characters and things that have appeared over the entire course of the series now. It would be an absolute day 1 purchase for me, no question.

I wonder... if deals could actually be made with demons or Satan himself... what kinds of things would prompt people to take the offer? Personally, I wouldn't settle for anything less than some kind of amazing supernatural powers and perfect mastery of them, like being immortal and physically invincible with speed on par with the Flash, or Power Cosmic, or "God of Destruction" powers from DB Super.... some crazy game-breaking shit like that.....though I'd want to be fully aware of the terms of the deal, obviously. Typically in stories of that sort of thing, the demon/djinn/devil whatever tries to twist your words in some way so your wish immediately becomes something horrible. Grant is a character that frustrates me for the very minor detail of his goofy ass last name... "Danasty". C'mon, man... they should've come up with something better than that. It sounds like the line name of a fraternity guy at an HBCU.... "Whaddup Big Dawg #3 G....Da NASTYYYYY!" Maybe it's just me that thinks that but it's a thing that obviously clashes with the tone of the game for me when I see that name. I would've liked the character otherwise though. The numbers for G4TV on tv were even worse btw... I didn't know it was on tv as well; I thought it only came back as a youtube channel

ah, that also helped my situation with Waffle House ---I forget that some people go at night, and yeah the chance of stupidity happening goes up dramatically at night. I think of those as "breakfast places" so I've only ever been there at a normal breakfast time. I should look to see if Tommy Sotomayor made a vid about the Waffle House situation; I'm sure he couldn't resist such a prime opportunity there... he's only been streaming on rumble lately. AM should likely have a video rant about it soon as well. No, I never get tired of watching content creators roast the shit out of the worthless hoodrat bitches out there that give the whole tribe a bad name daily. They deserve to be shamed as much as possible for the rest of time. **the food though--- Cracker Barrel had a "multi-grain" pancake that was legendary...but sadly they took it off the menu. They still have the pecan pancake though, so that's good; pecan pancake was the strong 2nd tier pick behind the S-tier multigrain one. At Waffle House it's about the same; I'd always get that pecan waffle.

haha one of the guys filming said "you better than that"----nah, bruh...they really aren't. This has also become the normal expectation of Waffle House and is sadly why I gave up on going there. It's highly unlikely you get that kind of action going on at other places. There was once a time where it was a coin flip on if I wanted to treat myself to Waffle House or Cracker Barrel for a weekend breakfast (since there's an area here where they are across the street from each other)... obviously that's not the case anymore. I'll have a nice breakfast in peace over at Cracker Barrel....always without "incident". IHOP is another bad spot I've noticed that seems to attract the hoodrats in recent years... basically stay away from any place with an abundance of the hoodrat creature and you're most likely going to be fine and can eat in peace.

Ok this game Source of Madness... I am smitten immediately with this greatness... great controls and cool art direction/designs, and no major technical issues so far so I'm already hooked on whatever it has for me...

Master---ah, for years I kept wondering when some whiny bitch was going to make that one into an "issue" to be "offended" by; I guess now is the time with whoever from Stanford wrote this list. So if they had their way, I guess the term "Master's degree" becomes a new word then. Red Team - because red is use disparagingly to indigenous people ...what a little pansy ass attention-whoring chump... but then again it's great that people like this exist in the world for our amusement.

I'm slowly but surely remaking my family of horrible Mii characters...just got Cheezus, Piss Pot Pete, Darksfadil, Deebo, Dudu McGoo and Hugh Janus in there....mannn I never get tired of making these funny little people. They should make more games that let you play the Mii characters, man. Game-wise I got Source of Madness this morning so I've started on that one. I'm also almost finished with redownloading my games to the newer system; it's annoying how long that takes for the bigger file sizes.

^I am suddenly interested in that movie if Lupita is in there with a sundress on... I'm just now getting caught up on things with that ridiculous list of "problematic" words Stanford posted... "brave" is a problem? 🤣 You know it's bad when even the silly ass "Young Turks" have a laugh about it; oh yeah they had a video covering this shit too. I guess Disney's movie "Brave" and the movie "Braveheart" is problematic by default according to the clowns that came up with that list. Also... since when are "noble and courageous" some BAD qualities for any person to have?

One of the many things that would be interesting to ask about if one ever met an Eben/Grey alien is about the other factions... to see how much they know, if anything about the others... like what is the state of their relations to the "Nordic" or "Tall Whites", or whatever they call themselves? ..or the reptilian ones? What about the so-called "Shadow People", if they are even aliens...? ...that one is actually more interesting as there's even more questions there; we kinda know the deal already with Greys assuming they are in fact real and have been visiting... the shadows are even more of an unknown thing, if real ---what if the "shadows" are something else entirely? Demons? Djinn? Wraiths? ...beings from another dimension? ...or the current iteration of the "Majestic 12" or MIB? That would be the least interesting explanation though; I'd be disappointed if they're real BUT the reality is that it's just humans using some secret CIA/Dept. of Defense technology to appear as ghostly "shadow people" for some reason....that explanation is just not as cool as them being demons, wraiths or aliens.

I may actually get some new gamecube controllers soon... it was awesome playing that old system again after so many years, though there's some problems with my controllers. It was good getting that quick fix of Phantasy Star action again... quite a shame it has to be an IP owned by "that company" though. (*if it was some other company they probably would've re-released PSO for some easy quick cash for the minimal effort involved in re-releasing things; they did port the older PS games though but I don't care about those.) Random Phantasy Star lore I was just checking out... Zio seemed like an interesting character https://phantasystar.fandom.com/wiki/Zio It was also a bit annoying that I don't know where my other old memory cards are; I only found 1 that did not have a PSO save on it so I had to start fresh. Fortunately that card is the one that had my Viewtiful Joe save on it though......Viewtiful Joe is another one where if Capcom ever re-released it either alone or as part of a "Classics Collection" I'd buy it asap without question....it's a shame that IP just was left to die with the GC/PS2 era....and all Joe got was 2 or 3 cameos since then in some fighting games.

^ha, all that is yet another reason I'd never willingly live in New York or the other northern states. The only upside to winter weather is that it means all the annoying insects are no longer a problem. Everything else about it is horrible. I haven't seen much this year in the way of movies that are new--- so it's a short list for me... The Batman, Black Adam Prey -one of the biggest surprises; I did not have high expectations on this one. Hellraiser Day Shift... I think Day Shift would've been better as a regular series (generally speaking, a series is a much better story-telling format than movies just by default, imo). There wasn't much else this year that interested me.

It was 2 episodes to get caught up on yesterday and of course I loved it....a nice touch to close out the latest episode with his theme music that "Number One" song.

Ooh, Minty did a vid about the Super Mario Bros. Super Show... I would rush home from school so as not to miss too much of it (very annoying that it came on at 3pm CST for me) Fridays were the real treat though, when it was a Zelda cartoon instead; that was better than the Super Mario cartoon.

aha, I see which film it is now----I got the Silent Night, Deadly Night collection a few days ago, though this "collection" only has 3, 4 and 5....I'm guessing 1 and 2 are missing due to some legal/trademark issue. Anyway, part 5 is the one I vaguely remember seeing on HBO or Cinemax way back then.... it's the only one of this franchise I actually remember; as per usual with 80s and early 90s slasher horror, there was at least 1 hot girl in there, a sex scene, and some funny death scenes. At least this collection will be worth it for part 5.... part 3 was atrocious....not even in a "so bad it's funny" way...and part 4 was slightly better but still not great; it also had some funny stuff there; it starts off with a woman on a rooftop suddenly catching on fire and jumping to her death...and her lower half burns completely up for some reason. Jane's character has a brief sex scene right at the beginning but unfortunately you don't get to see much. ha, here's a detail I didn't really catch back then when seeing this in the 90s--- Mickey Rooney's character is named "Joe Petto"...and Joe's "son" happens to be named "Pino"... a bit on the nose there with that....yep, Pino is a Pinocchio/"artificial son" character. random Diablo ramblings... the monstrous powerlevel just continues--- I went back to the Rathma build for my Necro; there's a few more augments I could do there, and I also switched out one of the legendary gems (from bane of the powerful to a Zeis stone now that Zeis is over rank 25)... I hit some monster for 211 trillion damage a little while ago. In the Greater Rifts I'm still only up to 115 though... I almost had GR 116 done but hit a room where there was a horde of enemies right at the damn door, so I had no space at all to work with; no area in that floor was safe even for a second; and the Rathma/Army of Dead build's defense is terrible compared to the Trag'Oul Death Nova build....it's also even worse to die in the Rathma build since your resurrected minions die as well, which puts you at a natural disadvantage when respawning....since you now have to rebuild your crew and are weak as a result. (some damage resistance is tied to how many undead minions you have on the field)

Yeah "Dark" was definitely a heartbreaker...I remember how I wanted that to be good since it was another oddly *rare* case back then where the player gets to be a vampire...but the more I found out about the game as I researched it, the more disappointed I was. The main thing that put me off is that it's forced stealth....I don't like that being a thing in any game. Stealth should be an optional thing for how to progress through a game....as opposed to your only way....and the fact that you can't simply steal the guns from the guards is just stupid (*probably either laziness on the developer's part, or it's that way to keep the player forced into stealth being your only way to handle enemies, instead of easily gunning everyone down). There's a bit of this problem in the recent Werewolf game, but fortunately it's just in the beginning. ...but yeah if they at least had more options besides the stealth, I would've bought that game and probably enjoyed it.

Diablo---and that's another season completely conquered; I got that last conquest just now for beating GR 45 with no set items on hardcore mode.... it was a bit tense since I don't think the character was *really* ready for it yet (LoD gem at rank 30-something but only 2 of my items were ancients; the rest were "regular" legendary gear; no tier 10 "flawless" gems equipped) but I went on in there anyway....getting hit by elites or the boss was a possible 2-shot = death situation... but the attack power was good enough to kill things fast, and I crushed that boss right away when it showed up. (Land of the Dead then constant corpse explosions) The hardcore character is paragon 130-something now; non-hardcore is paragon 819. ...would've been nice if they added the Druid to D3 at some point; I enjoyed what I played of D2 as Druid so far....between these 2 games, D3 has the more interesting, generally faster-paced start....though I'll admit it *could* be some bias there since I've played it for so many years now that I know how to get a character built up as fast as possible.

yeah with Dead Cells, the weapons, rune-abilities and items (and there's an insane # of weapons/items to unlock) you unlock are unlocked permanently. Rune abilities are things like being able to break certain floors with your stomp, or clinging to walls, using teleporters, etc. There's also different enemies and items/weapons to unlock on the higher difficulties. The difficulty is also harsh but fair/understandable a good 99% of the time, imo. It's one of my most played games...and it took a long time just making it up to even 3 and 4-cell difficulty.
