  1. Another incredible episode as usual... it's so good to see this anime come back strong for this story... It surprised me that they showed so much of that flashback to 1000 (or 2000?) years ago... and in at least 1 character's case it's a bit of a spoiler for a big reveal about what their role/position was back then, compared to what it is in present day.... maybe they figured people might not recognize who that is since they do look different now...?
  2. Hell yeah I beat that "Boss Mode" conquest in Diablo 3 just now... and easily on the first attempt with my Crusader... the build isn't even fully optimized and I got it with 2 minutes to spare. (beat almost all the bosses within 20 minutes of starting a game). I'm doing this challenge with Crusader from now on because that fast "Steed Charge" ability is just too good....you get huge movement speed, and with certain builds you always have that ability ready to go again and again. Last time, which was the first time I beat this conquest to complete the entire season of challenges, I used a Demon Hunter... fairly easy but it was closer to the time limit than with my Crusader. I figure the Witch Doctor is likely a prime candidate as well since he and the Monk are actually the fastest characters if I recall. I had a stop watch app close by to see how I was doing on the time limit. ...so now I have the cool zombie doggy pet and character portrait reward.
  3. Quite a few sales to think about for me lately... on PSN there's Miles Morales Spiderman = 20 bucks, and Alienation being 4.99 until 11/29. Weird West is also on sale for 20 bucks but there's a nitpick getting in the way there---I don't like that due to the story, you are forced to play certain characters from what I see. Even though you eventually play through all of them, I always like having a choice of which character I want to play. If it weren't for that, this game would've been a sure thing for me, easily. ...kind of reminds me of the one main complaint I and a friend had about the first iteration of Phantasy Star Universe... in story mode, you are forced to play as Ethan Waber instead of your custom character... at least for the first half of the story. Heh, I don't think any of the fans liked this detail of the game, because most agreed that Ethan was lame.... haha nobody wanted to be that guy. Diablo 3---back at it today; I tried the new Trag'Oul set and it's good though my build for that isn't fully optimized just yet. My Rathma Army of Dead build is pretty much perfected at this point so my necro is godmode now....GR90s are "easy" at this point, and I just finished a GR111 for the first time; the payout on that was 65 billion xp, 38 mil gold....and I'm up to paragon 801 now..... ...ha, on another run....just hit one monster for 160 trillion damage 😆 the damage is just disgusting.
  4. sheeeitttt, mental note for later on this one... I'd like to get one of those...
  5. That time Tommy still fought back against Goldar....with NO powers. Oh and here's ANOTHER mirror-match I wasn't aware of; found it while searching for the time he fought himself in Dino Thunder... this happened later
  6. yeah I was hoping that was fake... "Tommy Oliver" was the greatest Ranger in the franchise. Everyone in the fandom, at least from my generation remembers the original Morphin' era where that dude routinely soloed the original team of Rangers when he was a bad guy....especially that one scene where he took over the megazord and kicked that whole team out of it....or when the Red Ranger kept trying to blast him but he just played his dagger like a flute to bounce all the shots right back in his face. Much later when he came back for Dino Thunder, he defeated a giant monster by himself; no zord/megazord or special powerup like "Battlelizer" either. Tommy Oliver was a game-breaker, man.
  7. cheh, my advice might be to stop having any kind of high expectations for most people....and don't be so trusting. Most people are trash and you are correct to look down on them. On another note, that Shanquella story is making the rounds lately on youtube; I finally checked out the footage tmz has out of curiosity and on yeah... vicious beatdown on that girl... https://www.tmz.com/watch/2022-11-17-111722-shanquella-fight-1519324-859/ The stupid thing is that wasn't the initial lie that she died of alcohol poisoning? How in the world would someone think that would pass even the slightest bit of scrutiny? You beat that girl to death, but run with the story of "eh... alcohol poisoning... yeah that's what happened." C'mon now...even a half-awake forensics person will see through that bullshit within 10 seconds of glancing at the body. At least come up with a lie that's someone in line with the reality of her injuries. *edit---heh, of course Tommy had a stream on it https://rumble.com/v1v0erq-11.16.22-shanquella-robinson-live-stream-w-tommy-sotomayor.html *edit--it gets even more grimy, btw.... apparently they also did some spending with her stolen cards later. Imagine, you go on a trip with friends, but they end up killing you, lying about it and user your cards to buy some things later. So, there's this and that stabbing of the 4 college students in Idaho that I heard about for "random stories" the news is focused on recently... we all know the likely suspect of the stabbing one---it's probably a friendzoned Elliot Rodger type of guy, mad because he couldn't get with 1 or more of those girls in the crew. It's fun trying to predict where the story goes on these.
  8. It looks like Bethesda was secretly helping them out... I'm loving all these clips of how fucked up that Pokemon game is. Diablo 2 is currently on sale on eShop for 20... also, Speedrunners is super-cheap as well. Aragami 1 and 2, and Bioshock (7 or 8 bucks) are also on sale as well, along with many others since it's *that* time of year again. Over on PSN I saw that Metal Hellsinger is on sale too....and the Miles Morales Spiderman; soooo I have quite a bit of interesting things to pick from in terms of new sales... Surprisingly, Atari 50 has a physical version for Switch; I wasn't expecting that...so if I get it then yeah I'm getting that version. One of the reasons I'd get it is this one game "Solaris", which was my absolute favorite game from the 2600. I think the predecessor, Star Raiders was so cool....but Solaris was even better. I'm also interested by the fact they also have games from the 5200 and 7800.
  9. sheeeitttt, that reminded me of how surprising it was to see at least 3 people I know on my friend list that got Fallout 76....well, 1 of them was no surprise because he just has notoriously bad taste , but with the others it was shocking that they spent any money on that at all. Even if someone is a fan of Fallout, what about F76 was standing out as appealing? In the beginning, that game looked like trash in every conceivable way... like I would not waste 2 cents on it. ha, I would not even play that game for free. ...so I finally started Bayonetta 3; I just played the prologue part so far, and as usual with this franchise, it started off with some incredible action....it pleases me so much to see all these characters once again, and all the insane, over the top action that goes with them. It's been a while since I played either of the first 2 games so of course my skills were terribly rusty to say the least.
  10. sheeeeittt, Hershel is still wrong on that critical issue though. Vampires still get the coolest powers and immortality...and immunity to disease. Just by default, I'm always leaning towards vampirism being the superior choice. I want the shadow powers, the blood sorcery, shapeshifting, flight, mind control, invisibility, super speed....oh yeah sign me up for allll that without question.... all for the low-low price of just having to avoid the sunlight and situations that may result in decapitation or a wooden stake through the heart. This reminds me I should look into 5th Edition Werewolf the Apocalypse though, as that just came out... I'm not as familiar with that werewolf side of that "World of Darkness" lore. (*Note--werewolves in WoD lore are quite overpowered though...and yep the average vamp wouldn't stand a chance and should just avoid any violent situation with them.) Another supernatural I rarely bring up though----the djinn... that's another interesting one, imo... I'd be one of those.....so yeah if I were making a game where the player picks their "class" as one of the popular supernatural beings... "djinn" would be one of the choices. Shapeshifting, invisibility, other amazing magical abilities, etc. Oh yeah that's another good one.
  11. ha, now there's a new one----recently I had a dream about actually being a "shinigami" character from the Bleach anime, and hell yeah that shit was cool. More dreams should be like that where you have interesting superhuman abilities. ...no, surprisingly I was not Mayuri. My "bankai" was like a combination of Tousen and As Nodt's abilities; shrouding enemies and myself in absolute darkness/shadows I thought of as "the oblivion" (a Vampire the Masquerade reference there) but also conjuring whatever their greatest fear is so they are faced with it in there. Sheeeeitttt, that was awesome. Real life just can't hang with the random shit that can occur in the dream world.
  12. The lovely Judge Dorrow is here again, now to finally send Darrell away for life... damn...consecutive life sentences... so if someone like that were to theoretically come back to life somehow... he STILL would have more life sentences to serve. It's adding up to 1000+ years 😆 You would need vampiric immortality on your side, bruh...
  13. ohhhh yes Ms. Cifuentes up there also gained a new fan... may have to keep tabs on that one. Lauren has a recent costume vid...
  14. So, apparently Derrick Jaxn's wife is now casting Curse Magic jutsu on their haters!
  15. I'm noticing the greatness of this soundtrack a lot more now... sometimes during the game it's a bit tough to really notice it because the fights are so damn intense, but damn this Godrick theme right here:
  16. I'm sure they will recast T'Challah eventually though... there's no way they can leave a character like that "dead" permanently. There's too much money to be made in the future with "The Return" and all that, and the story material you could work with there. The suits in this industry make some dumb decisions but I still have a little faith that they aren't *that* dumb to just leave that money-maker of a character dead forever. *so I went back and picked up 2 blu-rays early this morning... there's the classic episodes of Bleach (Soul Society saga) and this new movie "The Invitation" with the lovely Nathalie Emmanuel (Smokeshow status, this one)... I'll pick up the Justice League collection next time. I also spotted The Originals series collection there! It's 80 bucks. That's a bit tough to justify for me since I already have seasons 1 - 4 individually... so I'm only missing season 5....eh, that final season was disappointing though, so I was always "conflicted" about getting it, but now for the sake of having the complete series I'm interested again.
  17. Fudgemuppet channel did a recent lore vid on Molag Bal... in Elder Scrolls/Skyrim. It is a Daedric Prince that is also the creator/father of vampires.
  18. Generally speaking--- they should've just re-casted T'Challah.... like they do with pretty much any popular character that is around long enough.... like how many people we've had playing Superman, Batman, James Bond, Flash, Wonder Woman, etc at this point. Also that circumstances just happen to line-up perfectly with some of the agendas that are pretty obvious to most at this point. (e.g.---women are better than everyone else in just about any given situation, and we should all bow to our "woman kings", and we're never to be critical of or even question it, of course.) Then there's issues with certain narrative choices etc. etc. He also seems to be even more of a purist than I am.... I don't *really* take much issue with Namor being an Aztec dude now; I'm not much invested in that character in the first place even though the concept is fairly interesting. Also---at least Namor in this film is somewhat accurate visually speaking...unlike certain other characters who get a complete "makeover" to the point of just looking like a totally new person in live-action. A surprising # of people these days apparently have so much fun with characters that are barely recognizable anymore, apparently....and that's a shame, imo but whatever.
  19. Ha, I was thinking AM might not go in on this Wakanda Forever issue but he went on to do a whole video about the shit *insert standard popcorn gif here of course 😄 Lovin' it. **Oh on another point though---I noticed they now have the JUSTICE LEAGUE complete series collection at Walmart!!! It's just 35 bucks (surprisingly lower than what I would've expected) Hell yeah I'm snatching that up asap next time ago; probably today. JLU is about the top-rank of my favorite superhero animated shows ever... I put it right up there in Batman territory as one of the clear GOAT-status shows.
  20. See, the notion of "forgive thine enemies" is complete garbage to me and always has been; ever since I first heard it as a little kid........ this is an example of what's real.... some family members of victims get to express a *fraction* of their thoughts about D. Brooks....I assume it's just a small bit of the anger they have for this dude.
