Cameras on cars definitely need to be the standard cause if people want to be assholes like this on the road then they need to get exposed and get their license taken away.

I'm loving that clip of the weak ass Chicago mayor getting all offended about the reporter's use of the word "mob" referring to the worthless shit-head teens causing havoc in the city.  It should be golden entertainment on a regular basis from that guy and the raggedy shenanigans going on in that city for years to come.  I'm sure certain youtubers are loving it too since it's another easy source of content for their channels. 
 
I keep watching people streaming Baldur's Gate 3 lately... it's tough to keep up; I'm still not sure if I'll actually get it though since turn-based rpgs really aren't my thing...that style of combat can never be as thrilling as real-time to me....still, everything else about that world and the lore is definitely appealing to me.  So far, I'm imagining that my character would be a tiefling or an orc...or a half-elf.  Heh, imagine the people that play a fantasy-world game like this....only to pick a boring ass human.  I wondered the same thing about my fellow Phantasy Star Online/Universe fans back in the day that played "human" characters.  It's an odd choice to me for what I'd say are obvious reasons----in a fantasy world where you can be all these other cool things.... humans are just boring and lame.

I've been seeing some really good things about Baldur's Gate 3...like surprise contender for GotY type good things.  I've also seen some wild stuff about the game too.
Also saw that apparently someone can transform into a bear and you can have sex with that person who is tranformed into the bear?  So...that's apparently a thing.  I don't even know what this game is lol.

Made a little bit more progress wit my dev project. System dialogue boxes, Saving/Loading* and the beginnings of my battle system. I'm not quite sure if I'm going to be able to hit my Halloween deadline for at least a prologue/demo since time constraints and dev roadblocks but it's kinda coming together. I just need to keep reminding myself that once the systems are in place and my games "engine" is built, it's smooth sailing with level design, combat ai, spriting and *gulps* music.
 
My save system currently has some kinks in the wiring somewhere but I'm fairly certain the error "shouldn't" be much of an issue even when the game is exported.

So... after the gym today there was a spot with some folks from Smoothie King giving out free stuff... holy shit man---it's a damn shame that I've gone this far in life without the "banana cinnamon" smoothie.  That is one of the best food items I've ever had right there.  This now becomes a regular thing from here on out for me.  Odd thing is that I've been there before but don't recall seeing that on the menu before.

I haven't played the games in a long time, but I was just reminiscing on how great the characters in Samurai Shodown were... I loved those character designs; was just looking them up again:

It was one of the only SNK "Neo Geo" games I really enjoyed back in those old times.
 
Diablo 4---  one complaint that is a bit of a small thing but I'm definitely not alone on this sentiment... the vendor for "re-rolling" affixes on your gear.  It's so incredibly off-putting... the system for this in D3 is clearly superior, so I am not sure why they made this worse.  People have been questioning since day 1 why you can't preview the possibilities on the re-roll.  That 1 aspect of it makes the D3 version of re-rolling gear obviously the better way of doing it.  Also... it's so ridiculously expensive.... like just yesterday, after just 1 attempt, my 2nd attempt at re-rolling a state on this legendary weapon (level 68 Ancestral, I think)... the cost for that shit was already up to 781k gold + the usual materials.  I went ahead and did that... attempt #3 was then going to be over 1 million gold.  Nah, there's no way....they'll have to change that shit eventually.  I bet most players just aren't bothering with that vendor at all because it's so damn expensive on your character.  I'll do the 1 attempt and after it inevitably gives me a stat I wasn't hoping for, that's just it; I consider it a loss and salvage the item because it's just too expensive to continue.

AZ is live-streaming Baldur's Gate 3; I forgot that today is the day for the PC release... it's out on PS5 later in September.
