I ain't no marketing expert but I do wonder who  thought  the name Xbox x series x was a good name for the console.

Nintendo and Sony, usually, develop games to sell their platforms. They get a cut of every third party game that sells on their systems. So they want to push as much hardware as possible not only to sell their games because boost the sales of their development partners because that garners more licensing fees.  Windows is MS platform, whether you buy it on Xbox or PC, it really doesn't matter to MS at this point. They don't have the same goals anymore.

At the end of the day, you buy a console/pc based on your own necessities, priorities and where the game you like and your friends are.
I for example, usually end buying all the consoles ,Minus Xbox, since i don't like the exclusives and no one i play with is on xbox.
 
Although i bought one this gen because a friend needed money and as a favor i bought it from him.
It was my KI machine, but that shit keeps soft bricking all the time.
 
And now that everything from MS will be out on the lolboxes and PC, there is zero reason to own one.
With just having the gamepass you are golden.
 
Right now i have my PS consoles, a PC and Laptop and a Switch.
I am all covered, lol.
 

Some people seem to be can't seem to accept that opinions and preferences vary. This is exacerbated by the social media age.

It is indeed much harder for devs to optimise for PC looking at how many different hardware configurations there can be.  
 
The debate between pc and console is hilarious to me though. Each platform has it's own perks and cons. Chose what's best for your needs. In my case it's PC.

People worried about which platform other people game on need to grow the fuck up already. Leave the juvenile nonsense in middle school. Seriously, what is it people worried about what other people are doing this days? Worry about your own life and keep your nose out other peoples business.

Cipher should be channeling his energy into getting crossplay, not worrying about platform wars.

This is the old ass in me, that grew up on the 90’s X-Men cartoon, that loved MVC2 largely because of that... I was thinking that ASW would make a wicked game with the Marvel (or even just X-Men) IP. Perhaps beaten to death, but no game since mvc2 has satisfied that itch to me.

Yeah, you can dash after the attack (in this case j.D) but you won’t get the height you need after the j.D, and it seems like you almost have to wait for the move to recover before you can dash, rather than cancelling out of it with a jump.
 
its okay, i’ll just work on another combo. I didn’t even look up her good AA combos yet, I just figured I could make her ground-started BNB work with a super jump without realizing how the super jump changed my options.

I don’t know if I’d want another beta tbh... I’m worried there will be more issues found (as it will come out before the game is done) and then they may feel pressured to delay it again... I feel like that would really botch the launch.
 
Tbh, I didn’t hate the lobby that much. I just hated how we all teleported around, the lack of rematch options, the connection glitches, and the lack of private rooms.
 
realistically, I’m mostly playing against you guys or quick ranked matches as I sit in training mode anyway. Giving us a private room with spectating is all I really need.

I hope they do, so that way we have all the GGs with rollback.
Now, if GG1 had online too, that would be the ultimate flex 🤣

IIRC most people actually prefer to play in private lobbies.
But yes, since the game is quite old by now, is hard to know if they will consider to release a patch for it.
 
It would maybe boost some sales on it, but with SF Strive being close, they will probably be more interested on focusing on that game than patching an old game.
