Shao Kahn looks so sick. I really like his redesign. I think he''s gonna be the first character I try out, or maybe Ashrah. Might have to flip a coin.

Also is it just me or did Shujinko look sick? The homie went full Ultra Instinct in that Fatal Blow animation, I kinda wish he was the playable one...

It's a small thing but I'm happy he has Ensenga back. It was honestly one of my favorite special moves in Guilty Gear. I was sad it was stolen from him in Xrd. Zweihander just ain't the same.

The rest of his kit seems uhhhhhh interesting. They completely axed Bacchus Sigh which I honestly expected but I'm surprised his coins also got axed. Although I'm beginning to see Arcsys's strategy for returning characters and how they approach transitioning them to fit Strive

The matches are really good but the cameramen switching to the character reactions every match is kinda annoying. They've switched back late more than a few times

I think they should've just given Gief back his Banishing Flats. I could kinda see why they didn't bring it back in SFV because they wanted Gief to use armor from VS1 to get in but at this point I'm 100% positive it wouldn't break him, especially since they're so comfortable giving everyone else a lot of fun tools to play with.

I wonder who Mono is playing in SF6. With FANG gone I'm curious to who he'd play to fill the void until the new poison person shows up 

Aww shit, the 'post-evo emptiness' hit me as soon as the credits rolled. FUCK. It came on fast this year. I dunno how pathetic this makes me sound but Evo weekend is literally the happiest I feel all year. 

Holy hell Angrybird was so consistent this whole weekend, if anyone deserves the Evo win it's him, top tier or not. Great grand finals, really good top 8 top 6 tbh.

I wonder what we'll see for SF6 tbh. Maybe an alt costume 2 trailer? I feel like it would be too much to expect an AKI trailer, she's not gonna drop til fall. 

I think this was my favorite trailer yet overall. I really like the direction they took Reptile with the partial and full 'werelizard' transformations. Especially the Aspect of the Crucible: Tail incantation he uses from Elden Ring. And I still wanna try out Ashrah, she still looks awesome overall.

Jeah, I guess they ditched the hat to dodge the "girl Kung Lao/Raiden" accusations from the old days. I thought it was cool too, maybe we'll get it in an alt costume. 

Ngl I think NRS dropped the ball with Ashrah's redesign imo. To me her appeal was she was a saintly, divine looking demon, almost like a priestess like Kazumi in Tekken. Her design in MK1 just makes her look like Kitana in white. 

I still think she looks pretty cool but she coulda looked cooler imo.

I guess this is the closest I'll get to 100 cup of coffee Fry as a guest character in Tekken

Also I guess I'm out of the loop but what's up with this year's Evo and top 6? Does it have something to do with all the entrants?

As a League player I HATE playing against Yasuo. I ban him whenever I play midlane because I just suck versus him but Project L had to come along and make the dude look cool as hell. 

Dudes got Nagoriyuki normals with Zero mixups and Vergil stuff. He just looks fun to play and I hate it 

Chen getting sidelined on Sunday def kinda sucks. I could see if he was some crazy wildcard commentator but the guy is pretty white bread I can't imagine why someone would have him step down.

Maybe they're gonna have some big name celeb commentating on Sunday or something. But that would be kinda lame too
