I feel like the "season 2" part of the promo has to be a mistake. I just don't see season 2 starting in March when Akuma wouldn't even have dropped yet

After catching up to CPT Japan top 16 and top 8 I think it's safe to say Luke is pretty good in this game. Looks like some things never change

Exactly. You watch tournaments over the course of the year that culminates in the CPT finals in december, then we'd get a balance patch and some confirmations on whats coming in the next year. It was perfect.

It used to be. Then after covid things got kinda muddy and delayed and now we have it in february. Which sucks I actually really liked it in december. 

Jeah honestly I wasn't looking forward to Ed until I saw all the other characters. I've said this before but SF6 has a really good habit of making every character look so damn cool. Like I've never given a shit about Deejay but his glow up here is immaculate. The look and his gameplay. I have no doubt they'll make Ed awesome too. 

Plus we need more twinks on the roster, the last one we got was Jamie

That's gotta be one of the sickest official Akuma pieces yet. It's terrifying and I love it. 

Kinda wild they're hyping him up for 2024 when Ed is supposed to be around the corner tho lol

After watching Broski in the CPT event last weekend I can see this more than ever tbh. I've never seen a character in this game look so utterly helpless in the corner and  he went against a couple Guiles in top 8 that honestly looked really rough.

When Aki gets the ball rolling and keeps scoring poison stacks she looks unstoppable, but it looks like from what I've seen it's not something she can reliably set up, especially with how consistent other characters are. 

When he got to the Luke cr.strong stuffing all her moves I felt that

The perfect scenario for me if all the B and below characters got the Kolin in season 3 treatment and are buffed to A tier. I really don't want the bottom bros being bottoms for the entirety of SFV. We don't want Vega's we want Kolin's imo

The season 2 balance patch for this game is gonna be wild. I honestly think that a lot of characters just need a lil' something to push them into Ken tier, Manon included

I feel weird about Elphelt. I think an Aggretsuko/Baby Metal singer with a sniper rifle is a very Guilty Gear design, but I realized what I really liked about the character was her bride gimmick. Riding a giant bouquet, cutting the cake, that kind of stuff. 

And gameplay wise her rework was a big one which I feel like no one should be surprised about at this point 

Don't worry SFVbros I'm sure we'll get a SFV Rollback edition announcement at the Game Awards 🙂

I feel like Capcom would rake in a bunch more $$ by selling stuff like this in the in game shop. If I learned anything by shilling out to Riot is that people love to customize shit and having a lot of things like New challengers screens available  to purchase or unlock would be a good idea.
