I wasn't expecting something as innocent as a combo would spark an internet cival war, but here we are.

Did the tournament organizers for Combo Breaker come to a verdict for SF6? In regards to playing it on the old patch or new patch 

Jeah I really liked MK11 and played it a lot. Was honestly a nice change of pace from the constant BS that was MKX (and I liked MKX too).

Y'know the glowups have been so good in SF6 it wouldn't at all surprise me if Rufus showed up and he was the coolest dude ever/god of sex.

Also according to the SF6 website, Akuma has a new voice actor, Christopher Guerrero. 

I'm kinda bummed because I actually really liked Richard Epcar's Akuma in SFV but I gotta admit I like the menace in SF6's voice. 

Not to be a hater I'm just relieved it's not his SFIV voice actor. His Akuma was waaaaay too corny imo. 

So according to the devblog Akuma can now just charge his regular fireballs into red fireballs. So I'm guessing his new magma punch attack takes the QCB input. 

I just really dig this primordial master of profane martial arts aesthetic SF6 Akuma's got. Like how his face darkens during certain moves, showing only his glowing eyes or the magma like fire coming off his EX moves. They really struck it out of the park with that. 

Now we'll just have to see if he's as broken as everyone expects him to be. And honestly he deserves to be imo

I'm just happy he has his Sean Connery sounding voice from Xrd, JB Blanc. 

But damn did he glow up for Strive, and Slayer was always an extremely cool character. His new Dead on Time where he uhh sheds his clothes looks sick

the GAWD Marco is confirmed. This is literally all I ever wanted for City of the Wolves. I'd like to see Akuma topping this!

edit: I also hope this means they're keeping his name Marco for all versions of the game. I know his name was changed to uhhh, Kushnood Butt for some reason in the localization, I just think M A R C O R O D R I G U E Z sounds a million times cooler

I agree I feel like people loooooooove to hate more than ever these days. Nobody just quietly disengages from content they don't care about, which is weird. 

I'm just thinking of the new Suicide Squad game as an example. The comments and "gamer rage" videos appearing on my timeline honestly made me uncomfortable. 

So there was Akuma info posted on April 1st that was fake but then post actual Akuma info coming soon one day later?

The Japanese SF account is posting something about April 1st and Akuma but I dunno if it's just an april fool's thing or not

Going by the starter guide she actually retains a lot of what made her unique in XX. She's still kind of mid until she gets mahora mode, then goes apeshit, then has to top up. That's pretty cool since they've had so many severe reworks in the past to make them fit Strive's style.

I wonder how good or bad she'll end up being in the long run

My only hope for City of Wolves is that WHEN Marco Rodriguez comes back, they give him the most Michael Jai White sounding voice they can for the english dub.

Or just blow the budget to just hire Michael Jai White

Really good trailer, and if that's the stage that comes with Akuma then I'm extra hype cuz it's also sick. Has a lot of atmosphere

I honestly think the last time Ryu was good was vanilla SFIV. He was top 5. Back when all he had to worry about was trade DP into Ultra for 60% of the opponent's life.

I'm pretty sure even with the nerfs that Luke is still top 1. I think he dropped from S tier to S  tier. 

I just wonder what are the chances of characters hit during the Ed update getting more balance changes once the big patch drops. Because I don't mind if characters are good (I'm not an NRS dev) but I don't think my eyes can glaze over any more seeing Luke being the unequivocal best character  in two games back to back
