Imagine a Ken player taking the 'my-character-is-low-tier' route. Was it LTG you were playing?

Glad to see I’m not the only one with reversal trouble it tilts there fuck out of me when that happens. Plus I play blanka so it’s not like ex vertical ball is a hard input .
 
I haven’t been playing the game at all really but decided to get drunk and play some casual matches. Run into a master ranked Ken I barely win but scrape by with a win almost every time. I get a friend request and he ask if we can play in a custom room..sure.  
 
I know he’s low key salty and like a pansy i try the nice guy route and tell him I’m just a drunk guy trying to shake off the rust then the cockiness starts “yeah I can tell lol you’re not reacting to anything just being random”  I  3-0 him and start talking shit and the excuses start rolling in😂. I could have played him more but he was being a condescending bitch after every match.  “You’re only winning off throw damage, Ken is negative on almost everything, you’re playing blanka wrong etc etc”
 
i know I suck but the amount of delusional people who think they’re gods is kind of funny. 
 
 

Man I think I’m burnt out of SF6 for a bit. I’ve enjoyed these monthlies and climbing in ranked but after my last session I’ve just had no desire to play. Too mentally tired rn even tho I want to want to play lol.

Unless something changes, I could see A.K.I., Jamie and Lily all getting overbuffed next patch.  I say that because I think they're not far off from being strong characters and the narrative around all three of them is doom and gloom.  

In Sfv I rarely if ever missed a reversal, here the timing is different or something because it comes out once in a while, bottom line in sfv I never had to worry about my opponents animations etc. it just came out, in sf6 it seems to be bugged somehow. 

Yep, mostly on wakeup for some reason.  It's to the point I barely even try wake up level 1 because there's such a high chance it won't even come out and I'll take damage.  

Does anyone else have a problem with dropped reversals? Not just during DR, but also on wake up or during gaps in attack strings and especially after air resets. I look at the input reader and the correct input is there, so I know I'm not fumbling the move. I never had this issue in Street Fighter V (praise its holy name, what a great game that was).

About the dropped reversals, I swear yesterday I was telling myself I needed to set the dummy up for me to train wake up reversals, because even though my execution is awful I know im doing the right inputs,motions, at the right time. Glad it's not just me then, so yea surprised nobody else has mentioned it. Basically wake up reversals come out like 1 in 5 times for me. 

BG3 is sooo good. Game wasn't even on my radar and now I can't stop playing lol.

Yeah I get your annoyance with them. I saw an A.K.I video yesterday that did like 7200 damage but it took all her drive gauge and all three bars. At least when Desk makes combo videos they look interesting and show you quirks to a combo system that may not be readily apparent.

It’s frustrating as fuck and on top of it dr seems to put me into some weird ass  twilight zone where if I manage to get a light button to come out it’s too early whiffs and I eat the drive rush or bigger button it doesn’t come out in time and I eat the drive rush lol.
 
 Patch notes seem to only be small tweaks but that was already confirmed that we’re not getting a balance patch until after cpt I’m pretty sure.

They need to remove all of the input shortcuts too. They're unnecessary and just get in the way.  We have Modern now for those who struggle.

That idom clip was amazing, coincidence he’s in this one too lol.  Probably one of the few if only times I’ve seen him frustrated even if only a little lol.
