I'm going to be visiting my sister tomorrow so it will be a good opportunity to run the beta on my Steam Deck.  

Ok JP's special moves look right up my alley, but I'm gonna need to see how those neutral buttons are. If he's got some Falke-like pokes with that cane I'll play him.
 
Though there's a high likelihood I'll just use character creation to make Rose and give her JPs moveset.
 
Also I made it into the beta 🥳

Looking at the fact that both JP and SIM got air fireball / teleport / long range normals the matchup will be interesting and hilarious to watch at the same time.

I legit mailed Capcom and told them i rip their models and make cool / sexy mods.
 
They offered me a job at first but i just accepted the beta code.

The CBT2 blog did mention some small changes for beta 2, jeah. I think the biggest thing was no more universal projectile invincility on Level 1 Supers (but I didn't even know that was a thing so w/e I guess) :
 
Balance Adjustments
- Perfect Parrying a projectile now has the same damage scaling when attacking an opponent during their recovery as Perfect Parrying a strike.
- If you continue your parry stance after Perfect Parrying a projectile, if you release the parry within a certain period of time, no recovery time for releasing the parry will occur.
Level 1 Super Arts for all characters no longer have projectile invincibility.

Ryu Adjustments
Balance Adjustments
- To go along with the invincibility change made to all Level 1 Super Arts, Ryu's Hashogeki and Shin Hashogeki are now considered strikes and not projectiles.

Can't complain personally. I got Juri in the beta so I'll be able to test a lot of stuff I practiced in the cracked one.
 
From the remaining cast I'm only rly interested in Manon and Cammy tbh. DJ a bit as well but I don't play charge usually so there's that. Besides, 4 characters is pushing it.
 
I'll stick  at 3 the  most for season 1.

Can't say I'm hype about the second beta like I was the first time around. The characters I want to play won't be available. I'll have to stick with karate man until beta 3. 
 

That's kind of what I was going to happen for beta 2, that they'd rotate some characters out. I'm still stoked to play but it woulda been pretty neat. If beta 3 happens I'm sure they would. If I got a chance to play Marisa before June I'd be a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry happy guy

I wonder what are the chances of BETA 3 to have completely different character pack.
 
Like none from current build except maybe Ryu and Chun but remove all the rest and add SIM,Honda ,Blanka,Manon,Marisa ,DJ and JP.
 
Would  allow Capcom to get more data on characters as it would force the player to play certain characters.
 
I know the betas are mostly to test online play and not the characters,but you never know.

Beta 2 is cool for people who did not get into Beta 1 or got into the magic candy van for the "offline version". Characters are cool, game seems solid, we all know this. So.... when's Beta 3 ?
