Yeah, Jaron was talking this shit back in 2018, almost word for word.

The thing I look at differently now is how much of my data and information social media and websites steal.

For example, when youtube gives me one of the survey ads instead of the normal ads, my thought used to be "Oh this is fun" now my thought is:

    Living, baby!

Honestly, I just got big thighs that rub, so I get crotch blowouts in levi's more often than not.

    I walk a ton, I'm at least 10,000 steps a day.

    Fast fashion is wack.

People look at me like I'm insane when I tell them that my jeans cost me $200, but I look at it like this:

1.) I bought the jeans over 3 years ago and they're the only pair of jeans that I have
2.) I wear them all the time, and since they were raw unwashed denim when I got them, they've worn and faded into some amazing looking jeans
3.) the company will repair them FOR FREE as long as it isn't catastrophic damage.

When you consider that a pair of Levi's on sale are going for $40 and would last me about 2-3 months if I wore them the same way, I've saved hundreds of dollars on pants over the last three years.

You buy memes for like a million dollars so you can say it's yours.

Yharnam almost requires a bit of stealth when you're just getting started. But it's actually a pretty good tutorial area that will help you pull your strats together for the rest of the game.

Like @RSG3said, I'm down to coop sometime, that would be fun all three of us playing.

I've been asking for Tetris block for YEARS.

Do it, Nintendo. Who gives a shit about John Halo or that weird little clown dude from that clay-fighters-looking-ass mario game. GIVE US TETRIS BLOCK

My biggest gripe with Bloodborne's button mapping is the secondary weapon being on L2 and transformation attack being on L1.
I really wouldn't have any real gripes if those two were switched. It's just that all modern controllers have these big ol floppy triggers with a really long travel to actuation, so timing a gunshot for a parry would be a lot easier if it was on the shoulder button as apposed to the trigger.

And since my brain draws a parallel from the heavy attack and the transformation attack, L2 being the transformation makes more sense to me.

It happened to me more times than I would like to admit this weekend when a enemy was about to attack and I just change my weapon to two handed mode like a renob instead of actually shooting them.

    Restarted Bloodborne this weekend.

I try to replay it every October, and remember every October how much I think Central Yharnam is a total drag.

It's hands down my least favorite area in the game and I almost put the game down every year cause I find it miserable.

But I pushed through, so the fun can start.

I've been listening to some of Jaron Lanier's talks and lectures about how there's a lot of signs that social media is going to cause the end of society as we know it. Interesting stuff

I really think if twitter and facebook were destroyed on the same day it would be a huge benefit to humanity.  I deleted facebook years ago and I don't miss it at all.

Tolerance goes away damn fast as people age. Or at least as I age.

I used to have that problem when I would squat heavy and really built up my legs and butt (butt is probably more from lunges and good mornings, regardless, it still got too big and hard). The Levi's or whatever Athletic jeans helped a bit. But nothing really fits too well. Except pajamas and workout shorts.

You ever notice how in really old fiction and pictures the men are usually in tights and skirts? I wonder if that's because since historically most men had to labor that was just found to be the most ideal clothing for that. I have a huge bone to pick with Western clothing in general. I've worn clothing of different cultures and they are all so, so, so much more comfortable. Practically everyone else wears robes and loose fitting clothing that you can really move around in, sleep in, do practically everything in.

Women typically have bigger butts and hips so skirts are more practical even now and many athletic women ironically tend to prefer those in regular wear and skimpier stuff for athletic wear.
