My road to work was looking less then safe so I called in. I loved the little jingle theme they put at the end of the latest episode. Given the show was originally set up as just 8 episodes this is the proto penultimate and it feels as such.
 
 

got my preorders in for both the MH Rise Pro Controller and the Skyward Sword Joycons.

No I love the first MK film. I usually watch it at least once a year.  As much as I enjoy that film though if I'm looking at it objectively its just a good VG movie...same way how I really enjoyed Sonic but I gotta look at it objectively.  I'm saying it would be kind of poetic because for the longest time MK1 has been the bar for VG movies that others haven't been able to surpass and this movie could potentially raise the bar and kind of make things come full circle.

That trailer is looking reeeeally good.  PLEEEASE STICK THE LANDING.  That's all I ask.  It'd be great if MK actually ends up being the first great VG movie...has a kind of poeticness to it.

Welp, Texas is shut down so I will be able to watch provided we don't lose power again.

I actually didn't hate the motion controls. It is the structure of the game that I dislike. I still plan to buy this mind you but playing the game back on the Wii/U the problem for me is that it basically makes everything outside of a few places a big dungeon. There is no real exploration in between, you are directed to areas do small puzzles/errands to gain access to dungeon areas proper and do more to get to the boss.
 
I like to wander around in Zelda environments and this doesn't really give you that option.

Well isn't this a big PS1 RPG love fest, what is next Brave Fencer.

Well BotW2 doesn't seem to be coming but Skyward Sword... Yeah I am a mark.

So Nintendo’s website doesn’t go into super detail about it but this is what it says about the Calamity Season pass

Purchase this expansion pass to get both waves of DLC as they are released. You’ll also get an additional in-game weapon and costume for Link starting May 28, 2021!
 
Wave 1 (Available June 2021)
The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Expansion Pass kicks off in June with an expanded roster, newly added weapon types, and challenging enemies. You can also stop by the Royal Ancient Tech Lab to test yourself with new challenges!

We getting a brand new Tactics style game in the vain of Octopath. That's all I needed. I've begging for one of these games for years. I literally took a chance of Fell Seal, thankfully it paid off, to scratch that itch.
