Just an update, my grandmother is in day 6 and has had a low grade fever but she's doing ok other than that. They just have to get her through the next couple days, but it looks like my 95 year old grandma could beat covid

Speaking on what I posted earlier, movement slows time - things that move faster experience a slower passing of time than stationary objects. That's why it's hard to synchronise clocks in a race. You have to start at the exact middle of the track and move both clocks at exactly the same speed away from each other at the exact same distance. In practice this is basically impossible, which is part of the reason why times are only recorded to a certain decimal point. This is called special relativity and it's actually super cool. It's the reason that the Reverse Flash is so fucking fast. Unlike Wally West or Barry Allen, he doesn't move fast physically, he slows down time instead giving the illusion of speed. What a king.

No. Light is radiation, so carries on at one speed unless it's forced to go through a material. This slows it down and initiates refraction. A good example is glass. This principle is what spectacles are formed on. I should also be clear that forces that act on light will also alter its movement. Gravity is a good example. Sorry, I just remembered that now.

I didn't watch it directly, but I enjoyed the weekly roast sessions by various youtube channels last season.  The show is pretty ridiculous and low in the ratings even by CW standards....and somehow, someone in power over there I guess force-pushed it to a 2nd season... so the unintended hilarity shall continue.  Apparently some critics are already ragging on how bad the new one is too.
 
Memorable shit from last season---there was a moment when Batwoman got hit by a truck...but all that did was KO her for a while so she could get captured.  She woked up later and of course was still in good enough condition to kick people's asses.  The great thing is....one might assume when you tell them this that she had her bat-suit on, so that would absorb some damage of being hit by a large vehicle like that....but nope.  She was just in regular clothes on her motorcycle at the time...and she was ok after that. 🤣
 
I'm betting there isn't any kind of explanation as to why this new girl can easily kick ass like any other "bat-family" character....at least Kate has a military background, so that would lend some legitimacy to a character like that doing well in physical combat situations.  This new girl may just be a "regular" person with no fight training....that we're to believe can easily beat up several armed thugs like it's no problem. 😆

226lbs, I actually weigh less than my younger brother now. I basically never happens. Granted he lifts weights but still.

I've been well enough to start working this year and in doing so have lost 53lbs, warehouse picking has me walking 10miles + a day. Now I just need to get back to lifting, I would go back to the church of Gotch but I think it'd kill me after work right now. 

My new belt has five holes and I'm already at the third. I have a 34"-38" belt now. If have to go to a 32"-36" belt that is literally as low as I can go.
 

Minor soreness but at the very least I can do squats and deep squats again like I used to.  It's gonna be a matter of pushing myself little by little until I know we're ready to go farther than where we were before the injury.  

I checked my waist. I'm right at 36". So I had to buy a 34-38 belt. But I was wearing a 40-44, so I'm not complaining. How's the knee holding up @Psychoblue

Hey man, don't push yourself too hard. Be mindful of your knee. 

I need to start working out but I've changed my diet, cut out fast food, reduced calories, cut my sugar intake and I've gone from 259lbs to 231lbs. I literally have to buy some more belts because I can't tighten my belt anymore (out of holes). Went from 40" pants to 36" pants. My waist is actually smaller than 36".
